Crystal Creek, rock slides, Insta-famous Paluma historic bridge, waterfalls in 4K #vlog #travel
we have left Airlie Beach and we've headed to Townsville first stop Blue Water free Camp it is a free camp but you do have to book and you just do that by the council we're in the same space after a couple of days of Blue Water we headed off to Crystal Creek if you're heading that way make sure you take along some loose change because there's an awesome roadside fruit and veggie store the sun kissed your face thank you someone didn't shut the mirror properly you're always so quiet big Crystal Creek Campground is National Park so you do have to pay the fees and book online there's fire pits toilets showers and the best swimming hole ever the mosquitoes are a shocker on our first visit to the big Crystal Creek Rock slides we were just there by ourselves and The Rock slides were pumping there was no way I was going to hop in that Rock Side luckily I didn't because when we went there the second time I realized I would have hopped in the wrong one the second time was much more sedate even toddlers were doing it a fish at the paradise pool were amazing super time you could nearly swim right up to him we're going to do a walk to Ethel Falls and leaving the truck right here sucking on a soda water before we go here we go we don't know if we're about to do 5.2 kilometers uh yeah have a listened to how quiet it is that's why yeah because I'm an athlete as we venture further into the Paloma rainforest the track becomes smaller the insects become bigger and it becomes more wild I don't think man has been here for a long time let's go okay so we didn't go to Hussey Road so we believe we're halfway because it is 2.7 each way deeper and deeper into the rainforest we start to find strange things evidence of trees killing trees here not too far away from me is the evidence Strangler tree has killed and destroyed its host the host is completely disappeared to just leaving the strangler tree as the winner life is Savage out here in the rainforest oh we are approaching Ethel creek trekking for hours unforgiving rainforest wilderness hopefully are approaching our destination I'm not sure time will tell as we still push on I'm so hot even my Palms are sweating that's not good is it look at him Creek Falls hours yeah let's not do well hopefully the full time five hours well we can hear them I'm hoping they're like not even five minutes as we charge deeper and deeper the blood out of my body and possibly lay their eggs we've just passed a fork in the road and it sounds like it goes down to the waterfall but we're trudging on just in case that's just a trick if you're wondering why Carl has been possessed by David Attenborough it is because he hasn't he hasn't had lunch hold him bored and he's been having way less carbs so he's like approaching Insanity yeah carb starved Absa yeah and we get there and there's 50 000 people all went the other way oh that's the track over there where those markers are where are you going yeah I'm gonna turn you off because I gotta concentrate guys really yeah oh what me falling down taking you out and dying wow you're a glass half full woman aren't you yeah I am with my skills hey you can't pull it that way when I'm going one way oh oh wow that is Magic look at the color of it oh you should feel the breeze guys it's so cool we made it we made it oh my gosh the breeze is just awesome oh those who Venture shall seek the rewards off I'm getting my clothes off Expedition Into the Wilderness so we highly recommend that particular waterfall yeah it's good it is a bit of a walk-in it's not somewhere that you are want to just go for a quick swim maybe plan more than we did and take in some lunch and go early or take the short away or take the short away yes because we took the long way right right hell yeah what the heck what was that that was big life is Harsh life is Harsh I'm so hot even my Palms are sweating that's not good is it look at him ah great that's hot news weak arms are heavy there's vomit on his mum's spaghetti a leaf skeleton thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe if you want a reminder hit the bell and remember we always love a thumbs up if you'd like to be more involved check out our patreon page or our website
