Vlog in Bergen | STREETS OF BERGEN | Norway
good morning from bergen it's uh eight o'clock am in the morning and i will take a walk around bergen centrum to see what it has to offer maybe they have a bakery here i'll check what is this i'll check if it's open to have some breakfast on the go eight o'clock yes it's open i will put my face mask wow look at that on top of the mountain some spear or tower or something and one up there as well wow look at that rock formation that's really interesting okay let's continue to buck ibrun okay i'm ready what do they have here hello come on wow delicious foreign okay so i ordered a small sandwich and a juice freshly pressed juice i need to remove my head face mask i was going to say head mask but it's actually only a face mask for now if i can stand on there this light i will see so it's uh some cheese ham freshly vegetables and uh sliced bread i think it's it was danish bread if i could read it correct this is my breakfast i will throw it in the dustbin the paper i cannot carry too much while i'm walking around okay while i'm uh enjoying this uh sandwich we can have a walk down here there all these interesting shops there hairdresser one one more hairdresser hairdresser oh maybe this the street of the hairdresser's interesting i'm amazed by the the building the architecture it's very old and nice looking look at all the details i think i'm going i have a little bit luck now because the sun is about to rise in a couple of between 20 or 30 minutes maybe i can go up here to look at that old building there i think it's apartments or i'm not yeah i think it's apartments wow this must be a theater or something who is this guy who is this guy no dog maybe he's from the family of greg yeah because bergen is famous for edward grieg the musician classical uh companies musician he was actually born here in uh in bergen so maybe that's his relatives i think it's a theater it's so quiet tuesday morning i'll throw my other paper bag in the dustbin so we have a this is like a small park looks like maybe it's attached attached to the to the theater i need to taste my freshly pressed juice from bergen cheers to edward grigg wow that's fresh here this is famous in norway they sell all kinds of uh it's like a kiosk this is a supermarket we can buy our foods cheap one bar smoke barbecue so rake is smoke so smoke barbecue another hairdresser 250 crowns for haircut for male it's a good price i think and see the bergens wow look at the buildings man this is so cool you can see the architecture this narrow street down here and this one was cure because you can see this half of a building almost at front and you have a small wooden building between those two brick walls i think this is a e3 it's plenty of entries here wow that's an old church i think must be look at that uh construction i need to go over there to check it to check it what here you can see another bakery ecological trash cans paper silicon breast italian restaurant very nice here i like it a lot i'm also very surprised it's so quiet you know bergen is the second largest city and also in norway oslo number one and bergen number two this that bright red color on the church it's glowing between the buildings up there it's beautiful beautiful this reminds me like a main road but i'm not sure if it's a main road can i go up here so actually little snow this morning wow look at that looks like a fortress not like a tower with the tower of a fortress protecting bergen it's a pussycat almost up almost there wow that's a huge church look at the towers beer all the way up there so they have a art in their yard some kind of art wow i'll see what's the name of this church must be very famous in bergen maybe it's their main church no name no name you can see a lot of uh houses around here so this is like a little bit outskirts from the main center the main center is down there so we are a little bit on the outskirts so that's why you can see some apartments houses why i'm talking so so low i'm not sure is it here maybe the entrances no there's no name of this church that's weird where is the name i'll finish my juice this is really really cool look at the the windows the shapes of the windows and you see the small details in the windows colorful glass wow so you can see the time is it uh 9 15 9 10 9 10 in the morning am maybe i will ask someone what's the name of this church maybe they were saying oh you don't know that you're a norwegian you're supposed to know that no i'm not from this town the city so the name of the church is johannes church so very nice woman there she told me that so johannes you have a great church i think they use it for a lot of celebrations so we're going back down in the city center i want to go near the water near the sea but it's not actually a sea because it's a fjords bergen is known for their fjords you know bergen is in between these big mountains and in between the mountains there are these amazing fjords that you can see on photographs and images okay so we are back down here and i can feel on the sidewalk it's actually very salted water i think the salted because of the the fear of ice it will freeze the water here so when i walk here i can actually feel it's a little bit resistance in my boots my nice boots here another shopping uh store eyeglasses here's some one more hairs are cutters and one more hair oh my god there's plenty of them so if you ever in bergen you're not run out of hairdressers that's for sure this is actually a pack to the main road we was earlier so i will take i'll just continue down there because i i was over there earlier so now we're gonna put you know down here so there's a lot of eateries there pubs and restaurants and hairdressers as well this is a pharmacy when you see that green cross you know it's a pharmacy right yes apotec in norway we call it apotec but in english it's pharmacy can see it's starting to be more and more people coming out waking up from their good night's sleep we are at some kind of square oh check that out what is that this is like a big rock or grandma maybe just lying there oh here you can see that oh i know this i have seen this area in pictures before but i'm not sure what it's called what do you call this square this one because if it's a news uh national news in norway from bergen it's from this era i remember that rock formation there there you have that national the theater i was earlier and now i am at this square i'll go down here i think this is a hotel maybe maybe it's a famous hotel in norway watch out girls it's slippery i think it's out so the name of this hotel is hotel murga norway so that's uh a good name there are one who's playing his instrument if i will take a wild guess that must be the grig the famous grig what so this is a famous area so the guy is playing there must be the grig because you can see uh he's playing instrument he's famous worldwide but he's from bergen he's born here i can go over this to this side look at this amazing what is that here's some theater as well you can ask her ask someone what is this kind of construction in the middle of this open space so uh this one a nice woman told me it's like in in the summertime it's a field of flowers so people like to come here and take a picture so it's i think it's really beautiful here in the summertime let's check it out it might be beautiful as well in this winter time wow look at that rock formation man wow you can see all the houses up in the hill you know that's big mountains i can do a 360 here slowly you can see around so that's what is that is that another theater looks like a theater i will check it out no time to waste in bergen we have a lot of interesting buildings here this is a pretty old and uh and intact city you know sometimes it's a little bit awkward when you're norwegian and you ask people for uh for uh information because ah you're norwegian you're supposed to know that no i'm not from here i'm new to the city i've never been here before so i will check over there you know when architects are given permission to produce something they produce whatever look at this what is that who will ever know besides the architect and i want to make it i'm not sure if cold is this a store that's a fancy store if you have that amazing building and you have your store ah it's bergens i may be i think it's uh art gallery art gallery yes i think it's art gallery must be because you can see some workshops here and it's written uh but again smaller that's painters from bergen so yeah it's arch gallery wow i figured it out i think i will continue down to that uh water imagine have your house up there and you forgot to buy milk and you need to run all the way down there to the nearest supermarket man you have to have a car over here look at the distance up in the mountains this is so cool i will run over this road here so we are in a park this looks like a ordinary park with trees and flowers um i don't see anything special about it i think it's our ordinary decoration in the city but of course you have some amazing sculptures a guy in a boat with a mar is it a lady mermaid on there i think so looks so so here another code like that what was written on that art gallery so i think this also this kunst is art in the region so it's more art here so a lot of art in the city so now i know why it's called the seven mountains because you can see it's all mountains you can count seven big mountains around the city so later uh later this day i will go up in two mountains there's actually a cable car someone call it the gondol but i think the american the english is a cable car i will go up there and another one is like a tram very steep hill up to a smaller mountain so that's the tram going to the bergen airport they call it a bee bum i think it's famous here i can see so i'm not sure how long is it to the to the airport but uh could be a long way oh this is the end station so it's actually starting from here capone and mrs capone oh man look at these buildings it's so cool you know this has ordinary shops they are in this amazing old buildings with a lot of history look at that stair stairway looks like a bakery in there the red carpet everything so now it's driving away oh here you can buy tickets so now it goes to the airport bergen airport remember i can go up here i will try to go up there hairdresser cutting i'm gonna hurt my neck my head is going all over here because it's so much amazing to look at exhibition there's a lot of bakeries and there's another bakery here you can buy your fresh bread and pastry there comes a bus actually two no three three buses this is a kids uh play shop you can buy it for toys for the kids exhibition roof garden so i think i'm gonna go over here you can see that building is more modern connected to that very old stone building beautiful oh it's a market i will go down there before i say bye bye i need to check that market over there you can see the sun is uh not shining but it's brighter you see it's cloudy so i think it will be a cloudy day wow look at this beautiful buildings this is amazing so small and neat but so much details and nice colors wow here's another art the restaurant tomorrow for school it's opening soon generous maybe they are generous they will give you a complimentary wow yeah it's offices you can see people working there with their computers magic hotel i need to take a walk up here you can see it's church up here wow some fresh colors here green got this uh purple over there another bakery you will never run out of bread out in here in this town maybe i can go in there yeah i'll try oh some littering going on there actually a lot of hair that's weird some cool tower connected to this uh i said backside of the church i think or was it there well the church was uh feather hello birds don't eat the litter why you eat the litter don't eat that you find fresh food in the soil somewhere this was really i was about to end the video but when i saw these streets wow i'll just continue filming it's just amazing to walk here i'll check if i still record yep wow that's a narrow i have to i have to try it so hey this is so cool this is a narrow narrow narrow actually what is this old entrance old entrance people throw their vacuum cleaner so we are out on the streets again and that was cool really really cool wow what is that that's a beautiful starbucks starbucks coffee oh my god you have that cool building they did that on purpose for sure how cool is that you have this cool building this out uh and you have this amazing uh view in the summertime on the uh near the fjord here they have mcdonald's there's actually two restaurants it's one down and one up so my hotel are located you see the moving boat over there my hotel is located just about about there so cool there's more restaurants here i like the street arts on the buildings you can see how good the painter and painting are maybe it's old also you can see one more over there so maybe they have some uh their gallery there's a lot of artists there i think they are very good at drawing i'll show you some cool artworks here in the bergen centrum these guys have some good skills wow look at all the details piece pipe wow nice bright colors and hearts decline accept who knows who decides who knows who decides who decides zero one zero one zero one and it's a face behind all the zeros and ones 1913 quality feminism 2020 awakening here's some graffiti arts and another looks like an old game boy from nintendo made from spring cans oh it's tetris you can see the famous tetris nice one you hear more e3 restaurants nice i think this is a market area you can see here they have waffles and uh not sure now but i will check it out later when it's opened they're nutella chocolate with waffles that's really cool here you have some donuts there's some greek food deros dim sum is that china chinese i think so you can sit as well and enjoy maybe i'll go here later today it's a hair potato with cheese and bacon topping butter seasoning oh here fish live fish we'll continue over here you know this never ends my vlog in this city never ends i was just gonna take a morning walk around the city to see what it has to offer but man i cannot turn the camera off it's so much so if this video will be like one hour i don't mind i'll let it i'll let it record another bakery wow looks delicious but when it's so beautiful in the city i want to go around there lobster i think lobster mine fresh fish the guys here deliver the fresh fish to that restaurant the boat is departure oh here you can buy the tickets so here are more street arts so a lot of street arts in the city of bergen if i would describe a seed of bergen i'm stunned this is amazing i have never seen so much old and cool looking buildings in one place just scattered all over the place and you can see in between some old buildings they are new modern but they tend to look authentic and old so that's really cool cool way of uh doing it so now i'm here my hotel is over there so i'm gonna head back and uh recharge my uh camera because uh it's running out of battery and we are actually back where i started you know i remember you remember i woke up that zigzag road so uh oh i need to look at that old cool stone building over there what is that like a fortress so i think i'm gonna end the the city walk here and uh thank you for watching and uh sorry about the length but i couldn't turn the camera off so bye
