yesterday we stayed in a houseboat at Alleppey explored the backwaters after that visited Alleppey beach then visited a temple so our experience at Alleppey was very good and today we are going to Varkala there are beaches at Varkala today we will explore the beaches at Varkala Varkala is famous for its beaches If you have not watched my video on Alleppey you may watch it, its uploaded on my channel Our 10 days of Kerala trip starts at Kochi and ends at Kovlam all the videos are uploaded on my channel you may watch them chronologically Varkala is a beach town in Kerala You can reach Varkala by road and there is railway station at Varkala too the nearest airport is Trivandrum International airport we started our Kerala trip from Kochi from Kochi we went to Munnar from Munnar we went to Thekkady from Thekaddy we went to Alleppey and from Alleppey we are going to Varkala we had booked a cab for our Kerala trip and with that cab we completed our entire trip after about 3 hours of road journey we reached the North Cliff of Varkala it was almost 1:30pm and we were hungry so we had our lunch in a restaurant here we have reached Varkala will do our lunch now, then will check-in at our hotel now we will try this traditional meals of Kerala I have this traditional Kerala meals this is dry fish a fry this is called, I forgot the name ya Khichdi cabbage fry this is made of coconut this is payasam rasam this is Tapioca this is Sambar, fish curry and this is made of curd let me taste this is Kerala rice one fried chilli the meal was really very tasty so when in Varkala you can definitely visit this Olappura restaurant in the North Cliff So, I am full enjoyed the traditional meal a lot we have been trying traditional Kerala cuisine from the 1st day and we are loving the dishes and till the day we are here we will try more new dishes If you have not seen my other videos of Kerala series you may watch those on my channel the restaurant we had lunch is just infront of the Cliff thats the Arabian sea such a beautiful view my eyes felt blessed If you are thinking of visiting Varkala then, don't think much, just come you won't repent So, being in Kerala now I understand why Kerala is called God's own country It is gifted with hills, beaches, backwaters and greenery all around Kerala is such a beautiful state After spending some time at the Cliff we moved towards the resort this is Krishnatheeram Ayur Holy Beach Resort This is the reception area of the resort Let me give you a glimpse of the beautifully decorated reception room this is the parking area so lets see the room first this is our room which is sea facing a decent size room a mirror table and a chair, water bottle a large wardrobe this is the washroom quite clean washroom with provision for both hot and cold water shower cap, soap and the best part was the view from here so the resort we are staying -Krishnatheeram resort from here there is access to a private beach, there now we will go there thats the black beach resort this is the private beach just infront of the resort you will spot a lot of such private beaches here there wasn't much crowd here this is a perfect destination to spend some quality time Varkala is so beautiful please like my video and subscribe to my channel we didn't realize how time passed by at the beach after that went to explor around This road leads to the main Varkala beach By the road side there were a lot of cafes, resorts and shops of beach wears we visited during September there wasn't much tourist then moving forward on this route we can reach the main beach we felt that we will need to walk too far so we returned to our resort and and went to the main beach by car This is the Varkala beach now it is closed, as it is September it will be open by November now we can't go till the water we can just see from here this is the Varkala beach now it is closed we can't go till the water this is September month from November it will be open and you can go till the water so we ahve to see the beach just from here here you can see the bariccade we just can't cross it now beautiful beach we just spoke to a life guard he said that from December to March is the peak season during the peak season a provisions fro lot of activities like paragliding, scuba diving and a lot are available here after spending some time at the main beach we returned to the resort when we reached it was drizzling lets see the resort now the resort is very beautiful I loved the maintenance of the resort this is Yoga space the best part was the sea view from the resort now we are sitting in the restaurant of Black Beach resort the sea view from here is very beautiful we will have some prawns and tea let me show you the restaurant we are having prawns & tea with this beautiful view If you come to Varkala when you book resort in Varkala make sure that there is sea view from the resort because the resort we are staying
