Thank you Okay Yes Assalam-O-Alaikum everyone and welcome back to the channel from Samarkand Uzbekistan. Today is our last day here and we are going back to Tajikistan. As we have to continue our next journey. Our previous 7-8 days here in Uzbekistan have been pleasant. I tried to show you the history, culture, food. whatever I could show, even the local trains.

Now our Rangeeli (the motorcycle) is ready. I have packed my stuff. I have packed my stuff in this scorching heat. So, I am sweating a lot. Today's plan is to cross the border and go to Dushanbe. Dushanbe is about 300 km from here.

It'll be a 5.5 - 6 hour ride. It will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to cross the border. Last time it was very easy. Let's hope it continues easy this time. and may we reach easily.

Before crossing the border we will go to a place which is about 25 km from here. The shrine of Imam Bukhari Rehmat Ullah Alaih. After visiting, we will go to the border. So let's go. I hope Rangeeli won't bother us today. And just take us to Dushanbe.

There I'll get it repaired. As it was having issues with the fuel pump for the past 2 weeks. Bismillah... In the name of Allah

(Prayer for journey) May Allah bless us with a good day. Much of the time has been wasted early morning due to our drone. Let me tell you the story.

Go Rangeeli You know when I entered Uzbekistan, I was afraid that our drone might get confiscated. So I hid it really well. I hid it so well that today I could not find its batteries.

I spent 1.5 hours but I couldn't find it. Then I realized where I kept it. I searched for it in my clothes and found it there.

I checked the bag twice but I couldn't find them. Next time, I won't hide them so well that even I can't locate them myself. We will try to reach Dushanbe before evening. Our motorcycle's fuel pump will be received either today or tomorrow. I have contacted a mechanic. Will take all the stuff to him to set it up.

The city is very beautiful. It's lively and clean. There is no traffic. This is not just the story of this city. Even in Bukhara and Khiva life is very slow paced. People are very friendly here.

All the Pakistani students I met here last night, told me that not only are they friendly but there is no racism here. In some countries especially the students or the workers have to face such things. But here, they say that the locals are very nice. They've improved the infrastructure with the passage of time. Look at this, wonderful! The roads are neat, wide and beautiful. There is a lot of greenery along the road.

It's interesting. The students I was talking to yesterday, told me that they are enjoying their stay here. I think that is the shrine of Imam Bukhari Rehmat Ullah Alaih. Looks like it's under construction. They are building on a huge area. I don't think they will let us go in right now.

It seems like they have closed everything from here. So we will take a round and come back if there is no way in. The locals told me that they won't let us go inside because of the construction. I said, let's at least try. Who knows....

It's a huge area. They are building the shrine in a very historical way. Four minarets Different domes Some are in the front.

Some are in the back. Let's park Rangeley over here. Story Bukhari Russian? No, Uzbek Thank you Unfortunately, we can't go inside and visit the shrine because it's closed due to construction. They sent me back.

Let me tell you about Imam Bukhari Rehmat Ullah Alaih He is one of the most important Islamic scholar and Muhaddith of the 9th century. He wrote the book of Hadith, Sahih Bukhari. I told you earlier during Samarkand's vlog that Islam rose here during the Umayyad Caliphate. Later, the Abbasid Caliphate. Before Islam, Buddhism and other religions were practiced here.

After Islam, it propagated rapidly and many people accepted it. Many madrassas and mosques were built here in different eras. During the Abbasid Caliphate, he traveled extensively, met many scholars and learned a lot.

And then wrote Sahih Bukhari. His birthplace was born in Bukhara but he died here in Samarkand and a shrine is being built there. It might be finished in the next two or three years. We will come here again. We will leave from here and go to the border.

Quite a long journey. Almost 330 km from here. Since we're not going anywhere else today. We will cross the border. The road ahead is good.

We will reach easily before evening. Even if we reach by the evening, that's no big deal. So, we have finally reached the border crossing of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. I'm very anxious. I hope we cross the border safely without any trouble. Let's see what procedure we have to follow here.

I think we have to go here first, as we entered. After getting it done from here, they will let us go. You can say that pre-immigration and pre-custom check is done here. Assalam-O-Alaikum Germany Thank you Assalam-O-Alaikum So, they have given us this for entry. We have to hand it over to the customs.

So let's go. We are ready for the next step. Today it's not as crowded as it was when we first arrived. Here I've brought all the Uzbek money that I had. There is a money exchanger here. Sim cards also being sold here.

So that is also simple. Here I have exchanged my Uzbek money in Tajik. Finally, the tire killers are down now. Thank you. Camera There is a camera behind me.

So they have to check the number of the vehicle. The number plate of our motorcycle is only at the back. Assalam-O-Alaikum Okay. Thank you. They took too long. They kept checking my documents for 30 to 45 minutes. I was afraid that they might find something inappropriate.

But finally, Customs and Immigration have put the exit stamp. We have not paid anything. They check the luggage at the exit as well. Assalam Alekum Wa Alekum Salam Abrar? Abrar Thank you Let's go Rangeeli from Uzbekistan.

This is a bit scary because of the drone. Thank you I think they say 'Rahmat' here. And 'Tasshakur' to say 'Thank you'. So bye bye Uzbekistan. It was great. I enjoyed my stay here.

And now we are back in Tajikistan. We did not travel much, the first time. But this time we will visit Pamir Highway and other places for which we have embarked on this journey. Tajikistan is a major country of this tour. I am not sure if they can see the number at the back.

Let me park the motorcycle here. Here are the immigration personnel. Custom personnel are on the other side.

I have been here before so I have an idea. We are done with everything here. So... Welcome to Tajikistan. This is the 4th border crossing of this tour.

Pakistan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan. This is the 4th border crossing even though we're coming back. Everything was streamlined here. They did not bother much. Very friendly. They let me go within a few minutes.

The Customs person took my motorcycle's registration document and filled it. I can keep my motorcycle here for 2 months. And I have paid $10 for it. When I entered Tajikistan from Afghanistan, they charged me $20. I don't need a visa but a stamp.

So, things went smooth. Let's see what he says. Assalam-O-Alaikum Thank you very much. Open the gate.

Let's go to Tajikistan. This time it's going to be easy for us. As we have a sim card and money. We came from the same route and going back using the same one now. We have to take a lunch break now. Let's have it in Panchkat.

Or let's go to the cafe where I had stayed earlier. While heading towards Fann Mountains. Their food and location were too good. Let's go there. It will take roughly half an hour from here.

We will have lunch before moving on. I think this was the cafe. Let the cars pass. I don't want them to run over me. Assalam-O-Alaikum It's a beautiful place built traditionally.

Let's sit here. It's good. Assalam-O-Alaikum It's vacant, let's sit here. Our lunch is here. Have a look at the meat.

I had eaten here before and the meat here tastes delicious. I have been eating a lot of meat since last few days. I am so done with it. Will eat something else tonight. Let's see if we can find something good. We also have this soup.

It's a bit hot. Can you see it in the camera? Look at this. That's how it looks like. We also ordered salad. This is the bread.

I have ordered only half of it. As it always gets wasted. Difficult to finish even half of it, as it's quite fulfilling. We have special green tea here. We will drink it later.

Let's say Bismillah. Last time, it tasted too delicious because of the spices. No no no, seven lakes. Camera He told me that he can take me to the seven lakes.

I told him I have already been there. We're done with tea. We are ready to leave.

Bismillah We have paid about $6.50 for this meal. In local currency, it's 65 Tajik Somoni. Tajikistan's currency is quite strong compared to Uzbekistan. You can get almost 10 Tajik Som for $1.

Our distance from here is about 225 km. It's a long ride but the road is clean and asphalted. Some sections are mountainous. There will be a tunnel area ahead. We will reach there by tonight.

Welcome to Dushanbe or Welcome back to Dushanbe. We reached here around 9 pm. The last kilometers were too difficult to cover.

Not just today but almost in every ride, the last 50, 60, 70 km seem to be never ending. Each kilometer seems to be a big deal. Today, as we were passing through the mountains, we were even slower. It seemed like traveling for 10 km which was actually 1 km. Anyways we have to ride another 13 km to reach the hotel.

For now, the road is well-lit. Earlier, it was pitch dark with potholes. There was traffic as well. So it was quite difficult.

The last 70 km of today's ride were among the most difficult kilometers of this tour. Our Wakhan's tour was the toughest. They cannot be compared. The city is well-it. When a person arrives here after traveling over the mountains seeing the lights, makes him cheerful.

It seems like a newly constructed area. Is this a residential area? That's the Ministry of Finance. These huge buildings are actually the offices. This is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. All are government buildings. This seems to be a hotel.

There is much splendor and the building is very beautiful. The hostel I rented earlier, Green House, is the most well-known here. People who visit from abroad; overlanding, backpacking or whatever. They mostly stay here.

When I tried to reserve it last night, there was no room available. There is another hostel right next to it. I have booked that. This is my twin bed room. There is a closet at the back and an AC on the top.

We will need AC here. There is a table and chair on this side. There is no attached washroom. The washroom is combined, others can use it too. I paid $30 for it. There were many other options too but I wanted to stay here because there is another guest house nearby.

where I will be staying tomorrow. I personally liked it a lot. I use to meet and have chit chat with the overlanders there.

It's cheap, for $25. There is an attached washroom and AC. So, that's value for money. It's just okay. You can stay here overnight if you have no other option. Let's go out and find something to eat. I am very hungry.

We are having fast food today. I have ordered fried chicken only. Nothing else.

Firstly, I was not too hungry. Secondly, most of the good restaurants are closed. I went to a few and they were closed.

So, I thought I will eat whatever I get. There are more days ahead. We are having good food daily. Let's try the fried chicken here.

It's good. Fast food and such chains are a bit expensive here. If you compare it with local food. Anyway, we had a good day today. Let's rest and relax.

In the upcoming days, we will show you Tajikistan. That's all for today. Remember me in prayers. Don't forget to Like, Subscribe and Share. Allah Hafiz
