Touring Magic Kingdom with (and WITHOUT) Genie+

Touring Magic Kingdom with (and WITHOUT) Genie+

Show Video

Recently, a couple members of our team headed to Magic Kingdom to test touring with and without Genie+. Here is how it went. Good morning.

I'm Heather. Good morning. I'm Felicia. We're headed to Magic Kingdom today to test out some touring plans. I'll be touring with Genie+. Heather will be touring without. So we started this morning. I bought Genie+ for myself around 630.

I also purchased an Individual Lightning Lane for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. I got it for, I think 1120 somewhere around that. Some sometime before lunch.

So we are going to head to Magic Kingdom. It's about 715 now. The park opens at nine. Early entries at 830. So we wanted to get to the bus stop around 75 minutes before early entry starts.

So that's where we're headed now. Yeah. We'll keep you updated throughout the day. See you then.

When you first arrive, these ones aren't usually available first thing for people to get in line because they want people to come over here to start getting into line. On this side. And after these one start filling up, that is when these ones open up. Hey, so we are in the parks now waiting to get into Fantasyland. We got on the first bus at 713 or brought some magic kingdom.

We didn't get drop off immediately. They were holding the busses and not letting them go up to be dropped off until 730. So we got off the bus at 731. We're in line to enter the park at 733 and then at 746 they let people start tapping in. When you come in, you go all the way down Main Street and to the right where the bridge is to go over to Tomorrowland.

There's a bunch of signs saying “Early Theme Park Entry” And so that's where they scan your MagicBand to see that you're actually staying on site. So we can participate in the early theme park entry hours. So we did that. And whenever you do that, you have two options.

You can either go over the bridge to Tomorrowland where they'll hold you, or you can go closer to the castle, to the walkway that goes between in Cosmic Rays and Cheshire Cat Cafe. And so that's where we went. I’m starting my day at Peter Pan, Heather starting her day at Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.

So right now we're being held. We're maybe two people back in the crowd from the actual rope in front of Cheshire Cat Cafe. You can see that back there. The group is already like the crowd of people coming is already quite a bit since we got here. So we'll wait here. They'll hold us closer to 830.

We'll let you know exactly what time, but then we'll be on our way. Just about 8:00, a few minutes shy of eight. And for reference, we got here right when it opened. They opened the park is 746. We are in the second row back So that is a group for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.

I’m headed to Peter Pan. Only one up here. So I was the first person on Peter Pan’s Flight this morning I was near the front of the roped drop crowd and a lot of people are going to Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, obviously. So I easily made it to Peter Pan first. That wait is now 30 something minutes. It's 835 and this is the line for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Wait’s already 80 minutes at 835.

So big difference getting here early. Normally at this point, if I had been further back in the rope drop crowd and got to Peter Pan's Flight like more in the middle of the group and I would have taken longer, I would have went and lined up to go to Haunted Mansion that opens at nine. And if you line up over here, you can get ahead of the main park guests that aren't participating in early theme park entry. But since I was on and off Peter Pan’s Flight so quickly, I'm going to go to Winnie the Pooh and get that out of the way and then I'll head back over to Haunted Mansion.

So that's where I'm headed now. Okay, So I am now off Peter Pan’s Flight and the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. I got off Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at 848, so still had 12 minutes before the actual rest of the park opens. There are a few things I could have done there. It's a Small World’s a walk on, but that attraction is about 10 minutes. So you would risk getting off after 9:00. Could have ridden the carousel, gone

further into Fantasyland, or ridden some of the other stuff that is open. I'm not going to do that because the rest of the Fantasyland attractions are usually easy to church later in the afternoon with Genie+. So I don't want to spend the time this morning doing that and then risk getting into the rest of the park after the main crowds. So I just got over to kind of over by Columbia Harbor House and the Rapunzel bathrooms are back there. And this is where they hold guests that are participating in early theme park entry before they let them into like the Haunted Mansion area, Big Thunder Mountain, all that. So there's a little bit of a crowd there that's not huge.

So I will wait there for the next 10 minutes. Then head to Haunted Mansion. Just got off Haunted Mansion. I'm glad I did what I said I was going to do in the last video and not ride another attraction in Fantasyland because they ended up opening up the entryway to your Haunted Mansion and Liberty Square for early theme park guests at 856. So if I had ridden something else, I would have missed that.

And hen been behind the whole, you know, regular park guests. So I got in line at Haunted Mansion around 857. I got into the first pre-show room at 904 and was off by 914. So I just checked wait times. And it says right now that Big Thunder Mountain is a five minute wait. So that’s where I’m heading next. I’m still planning to do that. I'll see what it is when I get over there.

I expect it to be something similar. After Big Thunder Mountain, I plan to try to go to Pirates of the Caribbean right now. That also says in a 5 minute wait. So we'll see what it is once I get off Big Thunder Mountain.

I just got off the wildest ride in the wilderness and I try to say it the way that they say on the attraction, but my ability to imitate or use accents is embarrassingly bad, so I'm not going to do that. But I got row 15. The posted wait time was 5 minutes. It was only 4 minutes. It was just the amount of time it took to walk the queue. I got off and I checked the wait times.

Pirates of the Caribbean still says it's 5 minutes, so that's why I'm going to head to next My Jungle Cruise Lightning or Genie+ selection isn't until 1025 and it’s only 930 right now. So I'm not sure what I will do after Pirates of the Caribbean. I'll see how long it takes so. That’s where I’m headed. I just rode the Pirates of the Caribbean.

Posted wait time was 5 minutes. It took 7 minutes. So not far off. It's now 950. So the parks been open for an hour and 20 minutes for onsite guests. 50 minutes, obviously for offsite guests.

And already accomplished five of the major attractions. So without using Genie+ at this point, that's great. I still have 35 minutes until my Jungle Cruise Genie+ to use it. So I want to stay in this area. I think going to go ride Magic Carpets of Aladdin. The wait time says is 15 minutes.

I doubt it will take that long. I haven't seen the line though, I’ll have to see. And then maybe if I have extra time, I’ll walk through Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse. There are a couple shows over there Enchanted Tiki Room, which I want to do today.

I’m wearing my Tiki Room romper. I don't want to do it right now because it... one, it's not hot outside. And so I like to use that as a rest place to cool off.

And there's never a wait for it. There's also Country Bear Jamboree over there. But same thing. There's no point in going right now.

It's not hot. I haven’t been touring super long. More of a rest like “fill in the time” place. So I'm going to go check out Magic Carpets of Aladdin and then maybe a Swiss Family Treehouse and go from there. I ended up going and riding Magic Carpets of Aladdin. The posted wait time is 15 minutes. It took 7 minutes. I exited off that at 1003.

I had planned to go to Swiss Family Treehouse because the wait times 5 minutes, which really just isn't a wait. But as I was exiting, I noticed a line to meet Jasmine and she was going to start meeting at 1010 and the line was very short. So I went ahead and hopped in line for that. She came out a few minutes late, maybe 1012 or 1013, but I met her at 1018. I just finished. It's 1020 now, so it's 5 minutes before my Genie+ selection for the Jungle Cruise.

But you can actually tap in 5 minutes early, so I'm going to head over and do that. I plan to grab a Genie+ selection for Space Mountain at the point that I tap into Jungle Cruise, and then I will head to that side of the park. The posted wait time is 45 minutes. The Lightning Lane entrance is over to the left and it wraps around, which is not how I've seen it historically, but that’s how it is today. I’m sure it changes. I just finished riding Dumbo. I walked over from Jungle Cruise to Fantasyland and there are several rides that I said that there were short waits.

I ended up exchanging my Fuel Rod first and then I noticed that the wait to meet Minnie and Daisy back in Storybook Circus said it was only 5 minutes. So I hopped in line for that. But I could tell once I got inside that the line was a lot longer than 5 minutes. I was probably closer to 20 or 25, so I didn't want to wait for that. I

got out, used the restroom, got some water, and then hopped in line for Dumbo. It showed the wait time was 5 minutes. I waited closer to 15. It's now 1120, so I could go use my Space Mountain Genie+ selection but I'm already over here, so I'm going to go ride the Little Mermaid attraction and then potentially use my Seven Dwarfs Mine Train iIndividual Lightning Lane and then head over to Space Mountain. So that's what my plan. It says the wait time for the Little Mermaid attraction is 10 minutes So we'll see how long it actually takes.

I just got off Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid. Posted wait time whenever I got in line was 10 minutes, it took me closer to 20 to 25 minutes to get on. At the point I had decided to go there after Dumbo, I had two options. I was deciding between I was either going to go wait in line for that.

Because it said it was a ten minute wait and then use my Individual Lightning Lane selection for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train or my other option was to go ahead and go over to Space Mountain, use my Genie+ selection and then start grabbing new Genie+ selections to churn, which just means grabbing ones that are close to the current time so that you can use it and grab another one just as much as you can. I decided to go with Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid only because I was already over here and I wanted to prioritize, not zigzagging back and forth across the park. It wasn't the best use of 20 or 25 minutes, but it's not the end of the world either.

So I feel okay about it. At this point it’s 1150. So it's 5 minutes before my Individual Lightning Lane selection, so I could tap in for it now.

So I'm going to go ride that one. Then I will head over to Space Mountain Tap in and then begin churning. I just finished riding Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and the standby wait time was 70 minutes. With my Lightning Lane

I was able to get on it in about 7 minutes. So I tapped in just a few minutes before the start time at 1155 and I was off a little bit after noon. So it's now 1210. I have 15 more minutes officially to use my Genie+ selection at Space Mountain. So I’m over at Tomorrowland

right now about to go through that. Once I tap in there, I'm going to grab another Genie+ selection. My hope is that Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin will have a quick return time like something not long after I'm going to get out of Space Mountain. That's what I’d prefer to ride. i came the closest I’ve ever comes to being a Galactic Hero the other night when I rode and I would really like to do that. So that's what I'm hoping for.

But I'll just have to check return times and then go from there. On my way to Space Mountain now. Okay, change of plans. Space Mountain is down now. So my Genie+ selection is now a “select experiences” Genie+ option so I could use it at a handful of other attractions.

Or I can wait for a Space to come back up and then I will be able to ride it at any time the rest of the day. That's what I plan to do. I'm going to just hold on to it and hope that Space Mountain comes back up in the next hour or so. So I went ahead and grabbed a Genie+ selection for Buzz Lightyear. The return time is 40 minutes away, so further out than I wanted, but I'm going to try to modify it and get a better time. In the meantime, I'm going to hop on People Mover. It’s a five to ten minute

wait right now, and it's just probably the best attraction sort of. So I will do that. And then hope that I can get Buzz Lightyear for a better time.

All right. Just finished riding People Mover. I ended up walking right on. There wasn't a wait at all, but it did stop several times while I was on it, five or six times. So the overall attraction took about 20 minutes. It's now 1242, so I could tap in to my Buzz Lightyear Genie+ selection.

So that worked out perfectly for getting off of this. Right now, Space Mountain is still down, so I will check again whenever I get off Buzz. Whenever I tap in, I can book another Genie+ selection and I'm not quite sure what I'll get yet. I'll just see what's available

in the near future and what's close by, and I will go from there. I just finished riding Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin. Sadly, I was not a Galactic Hero. I was close again. About 150,000 points away from getting it which might be a lot for some people but It's pretty close for me. So, bummed about that. Might try to ride it again later. Space is back up now so I am going to go ride Space Mountain with my Genie+ selection. And then whenever I was in line for Buzz Lightyear, I grabbed another Genie+.

We have lunch reservations at 115. It's 12:55 now. So there was a Genie+ available at 150 to meet Tiana at Princess Fairy Tale Hall. So I went ahead and did that, grabbed that, and figured I can go do that after lunch. So headed to Space Mountain now and then lunch time. I just finished

riding Space Mountain. The posted wait time was 35 minutes. I use my Genie+ selection to ride. I waited 10 minutes, but honestly, almost all of that was just walking. the queue. It’s a pretty long queue. So now it is 110.

115ish. We have a lunch reservation at Crystal Palace at 115. So Heather and Allison are already over there so I'm going to head over to meet them. After that, I have a Genie+ selection for meeting Tiana. Like I referenced earlier, I'm not sure at this point if we're going to stay in the park and finish out touring or if we'll head back to the hotel to do some work.

But either way, that's how my day’s gone so far. Okay, so we just finished lunch at Crystal Palace and after talking, decided that we are going to head back to the resort and get some work done. So I'm not going to use my Genie+ selection at Princess Fairy Tale Hall like I had originally planned.

So my morning was pretty successful. So I was able to accomplish all of the main attractions in the park, the ones that are the most difficult to ride. Everything I have left are either the shows or attractions that are really easy to get on with short ways or to church with Genie+. And so I, I wouldn't be worried about it. It's, you know, 230 right now. So if I was going to stay in the park or even go and take a break and come back, I could easily accomplish everything there was.

If you were going to take a break and come back, you could start stacking your Genie+ selections for the evening. If you wanted to stay in the park, you could just churn through them very, very easily. In the situation, too... Normally, I would have purchased a Lightning Lane for Tron, which I did the other day.

I did not do it today because we don't plan to come back. But had I bought that, I would have bought it for 920 to 1020 in the evening because there's two Happily Ever After at 9:00 and that's about a 20 minute show. So it gets over around 920 and then I could have headed over to do that. And the reason I would have done it then is because it's a neater attraction at night.

So you can ride at any time and it's fun, but the lighting and everything is just cooler in the evening. So that's what I would have done if I was going to stay and tour. If I was staying in the park, too. I would go to some of the filler attractions like Mickey Philharmagic, Country Bear Jamboree and Enchanted Tiki Room. And then I would use my Genie+ selections for things like It's a Small World, Barnstormer, things like that. So if I were going to say, that’s what I’d do. But we’re heading out.

So it's been fun. So that right there is the group for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Okay, can we talk about rope drop during early morning entry? I think it's absolutely important to do if you want to maximize that early morning and getting as many things done as you possibly can. And it's the perfect time of day to knock out at least one of those attractions that are super popular and always have long lines.

The bad part is, is that it's kind of overwhelming because there are- it's a huge crowd of people, hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of people, and they're all having to the same place. And some people like to run and not really follow the rules and that's frustrating. So just keep that in mind that it's really important that it also can be kind of intimidating. The closer you are to the front of the group, though, the less overwhelming I think it feels.

Because if you're in the middle or towards the back, then you're kind of really caught in a huge group of people. But if you’re in the front, it doesn't feel as bad. We were lucky because we were in the second row from the actual rope that they do eventually drop, so it wasn't too bad. But I still always get a little fluttery when I know we're going have to start walking because I know people are going to really be not always on their best behavior. Seven Dwarfs. I was on and off by 836.

I was on the third car, the third train, I mean, and I was in the first car, so I almost made that second train. Not quite as good. I hear Felicia was on the very- was the very first person to ride Peter Pan’s Flight. So she did a little bit better, less competition heading over there.

But now I'm going to go over to Peter Pan and see how that looks. Okay. It's 838. I just got off of Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and this is the line for Peter Pan. Posted wait is 40 minutes.

Let's see how long it actually takes me. It's pretty long, guys, right? I'm afraid it might be accurate. Okay. I just got off of Peter Pan’s Flight. It's 906. When I got in line the posted wait time was 40 minutes, and I waited actually 24 minutes.

So not too bad. But keep in mind that that wait- that 40 minutes had already built up By the time I got done on Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and I was on the third car for that. So I was really close to the front of that. So the line does build very quickly, but the park is officially open now to all guests, so things are going to get busy quickly. We’ll see what else we can get done. One thing I didn’t mention earlier today was I did get a boarding group this morning and my boarding group was actually Boarding Group 7 and it's already been called. They called boarding Groups

1 through 15 right when the park opened. So once they call the boarding group, we have an hour to return. So I have until 955 to return for that boarding group. But I kind of want to try to get one more attraction done before I go over there, because I don't want to lose this good touring time that is that first couple of hours of the park day.

The good thing about having an early boarding group is that that virtual queue line doesn't have as much time to build because that line can get kind of long the later in the day it goes. The bad part is that you do lose some really, really good touring time. So definitely pros and cons, not going to hate on the fact that I got boarding group seven, but I am going to go try to squeeze in Winnie the Pooh before I go. I'm going to go check that wait time and see if it's a possibility. Otherwise I will head right over to Tron. Okay.

Just got off of Winnie the Pooh. It was about a 12 minute wait. The time is now 929. I would have had time after Peter Pan's Flight to go over and do Space Mountain and then use my virtual queue for Tron.

I didn't talk about this earlier, but I intentionally did not do that because I wasn't sure my stomach could handle Space and Tron back to back. I can ride them both, but I don't do so well when I ride attractions that kind of make me a little queasy back to back. So I decided I better play it safe and instead I did Winnie the Pooh.

It's like I said, it's 930. I'm going to go and redeem my virtual queue because I don't want that line for the virtual queue to get too long and then I'll see what else I can do. Maybe over to Tomorrowland since I’m already over there. If not, I might head over to Big Thunder Mountain or Haunted Mansion? We’ll have to see. The test vehicle for Tron is right by the entrance.

So if you're looking for that, that's where you'll find it. I personally found it a little intimidating to have it right here by the line. Like, I didn't want everybody watching me as I tried to figure out if my body would actually fit on the attraction. But I did. I did it. I don't think anybody's really paying attention.

I made it to be worse in my head than what it actually was in real life. So take that as you will. But if you're feeling kind of the same way and you want to check it out, it's really not that bad. This is the part of every thrill ride where I start to regret my life decisions to ride it.

I know it’s fun. It’ll be fine, right? Okay. Just finished, Tron. I got into line

I think like 936 and I was off at 1009, so it took about 30 minutes, 40 minutes for me to go through the queue and then to ride the attraction. Did have one little snafu though. I have a cord for my external charger and I didn't realize it got stuck on the other side of the lockers. The Tron locker is open on two sides. One side is where you put your bag as you are going in and then the other side opens up for when you're getting off the attraction.

Right? So my cord is hanging off on the side that I couldn't open, so I had to go hunt me down a cast member to help- have them help me get my stupid cord. But got it. And now it looks like maybe Big Thunder had been down earlier and it's just now coming back up because the wait is not too long. So I’m gonna go head all the way to Frontierland. Let's see if that's true and maybe do another ride and another coaster. Sometimes the pathway out there in Frontierland.

It can get a little bit crowded, especially around the time when there are parades. But there's also this walkway down here close to the water That's perfect. And it's very rarely crowded at all ever.

And it goes the entire length of Frontierland. Tiana's new place. Looking so good. It’ll be Tiana's Bayou Adventure. Okay, I migiht have pushed it a little bit doing Tron followed by the Big Thunder Mountain.

I really thought that the walk over would give my stomach time to calm down, but apparently I'm at the age where everything bothers my stomach now, and Big Thunder always tends to bother me a bit more than some of the other attractions so posted wait was 25 minutes. The actual wait was 16. It was a bit of a haul to go all the way from Tron to Big Thunder. I mean, that's about as far away as you can go in the park.

But I really wanted to knock this one out before the lines got super long because without Genie+, it's just really, really, really hard to get a lot of the headliners done without super long waits. And I knew this one wasn't going to be a bad wait. So now what I think I'm going to do as I need to give my stomach a chance to calm down. I'm going to go get me a Diet Coke. Becaus Diet Coke can fix everything, sponsor me, and then I think maybe Pirates, because it's a nice queue that's covered and indoors, it'll give my stomach time to calm back down again.

So I can keep going strong. Just got done with Pirates of the Caribbean. It was perfect. I'm glad I did that one right after Big Thunder, because the queue was mostly- It's all covered, but there's a lot of it that's air conditioning. So it was nice and cool. Nice and dark.

Settled the stomach. Take my Diet Coke. I'm feeling so much better right now Right when I was walking in, the wait time changed from 20 minutes to 40 minutes, so I was a little concerned about that. But it wound up being only 22 minutes. So not bad at all.

Definitely worth the wait. Classic. Got to do it. I highly recommend Pirates.

Now, ideally, what I would like to do in a perfect world is finish up Adventureland. And do Jungle Cruise and do Enchanted Tiki Room, Magic Carpets, to get all Adventureland done. But since I don’t have Genie+ it's not really a great option for me. So instead what I think I'll do is I'll head over to Haunted Mansion because the wait time at Jungle Cruise right now is over an hour and that queue is kind of brutal. It's really hot, mostly outdoors, not a lot of air conditioning.

So I'm going to head over to Haunted Mansion, which has a lot more coverage in their queue. And then I will hopefully not have as long of a wait. I think the last time I checked it was at 20 or 30 minutes. So not perfect, but also not bad. I do think, though, that this is kind of proving and reinforcing the thought that two days at Magic Kingdom is always better, especially if you don't have Genie+. So if you aren't thinking about purchasing Genie+, if you can squeeze in two days at Magic Kingdom or even a day and a half, you're going to have a much easier time touring and you're not going to be having to do what I'm getting ready to do, which is keep zipping back and forth across the park and instead you're able to kind of minimize your walking, stay in one area for a little bit longer, which is easier on tired legs and feet and definitely easier for little ones.

So something to think about it. And if you do have Genie+, I still kind of think it's at least a day and a half. Two days is even better.

The more days at Magic Kingdom, the better. Always. Okay, let's go see what a Haunted Mansion is like. Okay. I'm afraid that I pushed it one too many times on hoping that the posted wait times were not accurate. So when I was walking up to Haunted Mansion, the posted wait time was 20 minutes, right when I was walking into the queue it changed to 40 and it wound up being 47 minutes. So by the time I actually rode the attraction, that was an entire hour on one attraction, which is a lot. So

not my best move. Haunted Mansion was probably not a good idea right then. Ideally my original plan was- this is before I got my virtual queue this morning. In my mind, I was kind of thinking that I wouldn't get a morning boarding group and then I would have the morning to tour. But I was too quick on getting that boarding group this morning and I was boarding group number seven, so my original plan was Seven Dwarfs.

Peter Pan, Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder, Jungle, Pirates. But I had to kind of pivot and redo all of that after getting that boarding group for Tron. So lesson learned Sometimes those wait times are really inflated and you actually will wind up waiting a lot less, but it can go on the opposite direction too, and you end up waiting a lot more than what you had planned and even longer than what that posted wait time was.

We did get stopped a couple times on Haunted Mansion. That's kind of typical in there, but that's fine. They have to slow down the ramps and the buggies for people that need assistance before game. But it was lovely.

I was so glad to sit down. After standing still for almost an hour. It was well worth it, though.

I love that one. Since I'm over here by Fantasyland and I only have about 45 minutes until our lunch reservation, I am going to see if I can find something here nearby where I can knock out a couple of any time attractions or attractions that don't typically have long waits during the middle of the day. We'll see what- how many things I can get done before we go have lunch. Okay, just got off

It's a Small World. When I got there, The posted wait time was 10 minutes. I ended up waiting a total of 17 minutes. So that seemed like a pretty decent chunk longer. So that's two attractions in a row now where the posted wait time was actually longer than what I actually waited. So kind of disappointing. I had hoped to get one more thing done before lunch, but we are now at 112 and my lunch reservation is at 115, so I'm going to have to tap out for the day.

I think I wound up doing a total of eight attractions and I did get several big headliners done. So I diid Tron, Seven Dwarfs, Peter Pan, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Jungle Cruise. I mean, several of the really big ones- did get those knocked out, but there were entire areas where we did not even come close to getting everything done. So just again, I kind of feel like I'm repeating myself. But it's it would be okay if I had multiple days here, but if this was my my only day at Magic Kingdom, there's a lot of stuff left for me to finish this afternoon and evening. So this again, something to keep in mind.

Of course, you could cut out a lot of the other little fillers and get a lot more done and just focus on those big headliners. But some of what makes Magic Kingdom so special are all those other little attractions. So anyway, I'm really, really hungry. I'm kind of tired. I need some water. So we're going to go eat some lunch and then put together my thoughts on what I would do this afternoon and evening if I were staying.

I just finished up our lunch at Crystal Palace. It was absolutely delicious. And Crystal Palace has the Winnie the Pooh character. So it was Eeyore and Tigger and Piglet and Winnie the Pooh. It was it was a lot of fun. They have some good food, not as many vegan or vegetarian options as I would have liked, but that's okay.

So we had lunch and while we sat there and ate, we kind of talked about what we would have done for the rest of our day. And when I look at the list of attractions that I haven't done yet today, the only major ish ones that I didn't get accomplished this morning were Space Mountain and Jungle Cruise. So what I would probably do for the rest of the day if I was sticking around is I would do one during the 3:00 parade and I would do the other one towards the end of the evening.

And then between now and then I would either take a break for a little bit or do some of the filler attractions, things like Tomorrowland Speedway or well, that’s kind of a hot one in the middle of the day. How about People Mover or Carousel of Progress or Enchanted Tiki room? Mickey’s Philharmagic? There's lots of attractions that generally don't have a very long wait that are great ways to kind of spend your afternoon and then characters because I didn't do any characters this morning. But Felicia did several, so it would have been fun to do some characters. And of course, I can't visit Magic Kingdom without doing Happily Ever After.

So being able to watch Happily Ever After this evening, I think I would add that to my list. So I did get a lot done without spending any money, which is great, or any extra money which is great. I do think, though, it is so much easier. I mean, I know it's so much easier to tour in Magic Kingdom with Genie+, but you can also have a fairly successful day if you are willing to zigzag across the park and just maximize those low wait times as fast as you can first thing in the morning. You can still have a really good day here anyway.

So that's it. I hope you enjoyed following along with this Magic Kingdom Day. Did you learn anything? Do have any questions? Please feel free to share in the comments.

Thanks for watching.
