Touring a $17,700,000 Mansion on the PALM ISLANDS in Dubai!
(tense music) - The Palm is like, in its entirety as a development, you know, it is a true waterfront destination, right? It's one of the best, without being biased, probably the best waterfront residential development in the whole world. That's how I feel. - What's up, everybody? It's Enes here. And welcome to Palm Jumeirah, Dubai.
This is our first time here in Dubai, and this place is incredible. We'll be touring a lot of amazing properties. And on today's episode, we'll be checking out this newly constructed modern estate right behind me. Here are the specs on this home, and it is currently on the market for 65 million Dirhams, which is around $17.7 million. As always, you can find more information about the property in the description of this video, so make sure to check that out. And now, let's begin our tour.
(soft mysterious music) (fire crackling) This home has a white stucco facade complemented with glass and steel details. We have the two-car garage on the left, front door right in the center. Overall, beautiful modern design.
And now, let's go inside. All right, everyone. Here we are at the entry. Beautiful, massive door. Double-height ceilings. Chandelier above. And we have travertine floors throughout this level.
Now before, we head towards the living room and seating area, I actually wanna take everybody this way. We have the first door opening up to the first bedroom suite on this level. Gorgeous hardwood floors. Furniture looks great, and furniture's going to look great throughout the property. We have Poliform built-in cabinets here. This is a front-facing bedroom with automatic shades and, again, lighting detail throughout with these ceiling-mount light fixtures.
Now, around the corner, we have a full bathroom. Same travertine stone is on the floors as well as the walls. We have the floating vanity design here with LED lighting. Nice drop-in sink. Medicine cabinet.
And we have the walk-in shower here, nicely glass-enclosed, handheld, rain head above, and water closet on this side. Now, let's take everybody back to the entry hallway. Again, nice and spacious, minimalist lines.
And we have this door here, which opens up to a gorgeous powder room. Beautiful natural stone application with the vanity and the sidewall. I really like this shallow sink design with chrome fixture, LED lighting underneath. And we have this chandelier on the side, and water closet behind me.
Beautiful powder room. Now, coming back to the entry, we have this door opening up to the two-car garage that faces the front of the home. And following the hallway, it brings us to this point where we have the main staircase going up all the way to the third floor of this estate. Now, I wanna take my time to talk about the staircases on here because it looks gorgeous. It has that floating effect, and the main frame of the staircase is actually bolt into the wall.
And if you look closely, each one of these treads are open riser, but more importantly, they're bookmatched and vein matched throughout both the top, front, and the bottom, so it has this gorgeous pattern as it goes up. Of course, it's LED-lit, and right in the center, we have this gorgeous chandelier that comes down to this level. And above that, we got this massive skylight, bringing natural light throughout the levels of this home. Now, on top of that, behind the staircase, we have this gorgeous bookmatched wall that wraps around, so it creates a nice contrast between the travertine and the marble here. Now, this is the staircase, and we have this opening taking us to two separated seating areas. We have the center section here with two U-shaped couches, no TVs, which I really like.
And of course, as soon as you walk into this space, you see the amazing views of the canals. I mean, it is so peaceful, so tranquil. It feels like we're in Miami, honestly. - [Mikey] Yeah, we've been here a few days now, and everywhere we go, we see these canals, blue water, beautiful homes, and there's- - Sand.
- [Mikey] there's a kind of common theme between the design of the modern homes here and Miami as well. But I really like it. - It's so nice.
It's so nice, it's really peaceful. Water is basically glass and, yeah, let's bring the focus back here. Double-height ceilings. Walls of glass, and there's actually a really interesting detail here. It's not a sliding glass door, it's a guillotine glass door.
And we have seen this detail before, Mikey, on the Collingwood property. - [Mikey] Collingwood, that's right. - And it's amazing. That way, you don't have to fold your glasses or stack 'em into a wall, which would take a big space here and take away from your views.
This way, it tucks up all the way to the ceiling. That way, from your seating area, you can appreciate the amazing views. This is such an awesome and clever detail. So I wanted to mention that.
While we have this glass panel going up, I wanna focus on this section. We have this secondary seating area here with darker furniture. It's nicely established, all focusing towards the views. And again, I just really appreciate that there are no TVs here because when you have a view like this, you just sit down, conversate, relax, and enjoy the vibes here.
- [Mikey] Yeah, it's really nice. And it would be a great spot to Radinn. - I know.
Me and Mikey have been talking about this ever since we were in Dubai. These canals are perfect for like your jet surfboards. - [Mikey] Yeah, so for those who don't know, Radinn is a company that makes electric jet surfboards. Enes and I are a big fan of them. We have one and whenever we get the chance, we like to take 'em out. And they're hard to fly with, so we can't take 'em to Dubai, but this would be great to have.
- This would be great to have. And the flatter the water is, the faster they go. It's kinda awesome. I wish we had one here. - [Mikey] Exactly.
- Mikey, let's turn around this way. I know it's a bit of a different angle, but we talked about this at the staircase. That bookmatched wall continues on this side, and the vein and the pattern that they have here looks gorgeous. It's very minimal too. It's not super loud. And I think it goes really well with the lines of the property.
One more detail before we go to the kitchen and dining area, you see the second floor here, how it has the darker kind of a coping detail? That comes from the exterior architecture. So they brought that detail to the interior, which uniforms the architecture, looks great, and on top of that, that's where we have the AC diffusers. So your ceilings looks very clean and kind of undisrupted.
Now, coming here, we have these two pocket doors sealing off this section because we have the dining room here, of course, facing the amazing views. But first, I wanna take everybody this way, go through this opening to check out the kitchen. Island in the center with darker cabinetry. Marble countertops. I love this induction cooktop design here that is nicely flush with the countertops, and vent is tucked all the way to the ceiling, which allows this space to be very open. We don't have that much uppers here, but we have two massive windows looking to the side of the property where you have the palm trees.
So it's just a nice view to look at, gets ton of natural light. And of course, we have the same marble countertops also here. All these white gloss finish, base cabinets. We have the fabricated sink here and this really, really cool faucet.
- [Mikey] So this thing actually has multiple different settings, has hot water, cold water, I guess warm water, cool water, and it actually has sparkling water as well, which is something we've never seen before. So there's a little switch on top. If you hold it down, the light changes colors, and that engages your sparkling water feature. So that's pretty unique. - This is super cool. We've never seen this before, and you can have sparkling water off of your tap.
- [Mikey] Yeah, that's right. - Amazing. All right, we got some built-ins here.
Of course, you have your small oven, steam oven, microwave, warming drawer, all that good stuff. You have your paneled fridge and freezer here. And this kitchen actually has a chef's kitchen too on the back.
Same cabinetry, Poliform. We have the gas cooktop here with a commercial vent. I'm assuming that's Alexa thinking that I'm gonna give some sort of a command, but no, we are just here to check out this kitchen. It looks great, has its own dishwasher. And when we had a chance to talk to the owners, they said that they utilized the chef's kitchen a lot, and it's just a nice convenience to have. Coming back to the main kitchen, of course, we have more cabinetry on this side.
More of the darker tones. And I love that they left this middle section open. That way, it serves as a real like service countertop, LED lighting.
Beautiful minimalist kitchen. Now, I wanna take everybody back to the dining room area. Right in the center, we have this gorgeous marble table with built-in lazy Susan. It's always great if you're serving people. You have a chandelier above. And what I love about this space is the fact that it has an open corner design.
Of course, by the way, the entire house, you have Crestron system, so you can control anything you want on your iPad. You have your built-in shades throughout. And again, this corner being open, you walk straight to your backyard and your view is right there. I think this is the closest we've ever been to a sea or body of water from your living room area.
It's insane. - [Mikey] Yeah, so if you can't really get a good idea for scale on my camera, that's probably about 200 meters to 200 yards across to the next houses over there, but it's really wide and- - [Enes] Super wide. - [Mikey] I don't really know how deep it is in the middle, but it looks really nice. I don't have really much else to say than that. - [Enes] I mean, we're probably 30 feet away from water, which is just amazing.
- [Mikey] Yeah. - And it goes straight out to your patio. We have the same travertine floors also here. That way, you get that seamless transition. Outdoor seating area here. You have additional seating on the side, and right in the center of your backyard, we have this awesome infinity edge pool with mosaic tile throughout.
You have the Baja shelf on the left. I mean, the setting is just amazing. Off of your living room, you look at your pool, your view, and this pool actually has the full built-in jet. That way, you can swim against it. It's just awesome. It is really great.
In fact, Mikey, let's take everybody this way. We have a nice sunken seating area here with a fire pit right in the center, two palm trees framing this opening, and it takes you straight to the beach. In fact, let's go check it out.
Okay, this is definitely a first. We've never done anything like this, and I don't think people are used to seeing a guy in a suit on this beach a lot. So I'm pretty sure I'm claiming the first over here and- - [Mikey] Nor a guy with a gimbal, you know? - That's right. That's right.
And that's the water. It's super blue and clear. And it's just awesome to be here. And by the way, people kayak out here, jet boards, surfboards, it's awesome. And since we're out here, we can actually see the exterior architecture of this home.
Same white and black contrast is also here. I like this overhang design that cantilevers above on the second floor. We have an amazing rooftop deck that we're gonna check out in a bit, just a very minimalist, clean design. And of course, this side, since it's facing these canal views, it's basically all glass. Super cool, and that wraps our tour on the lower level. Now, I wanna take everybody back inside, so we can check out the second floor.
(laid-back music) - Okay, My name's Chris Boswell. I've been selling real estate in Dubai since 2006, most notably on Palm Jumeirah. I also hold the record for selling the highest-priced single residential property in Dubai in history. And here we are in this stunning home on Palm Jumeirah, and I'm happy for Enes to show you around. - First, I wanna ask you about the property. It's obviously a newly constructed home, and it is a little different, a little bit more modern than some of the homes that we see around.
So tell us a bit about that. - I mean, at the moment, you're seeing on the Palm an incredible transformation in terms of design aesthetic. You know, people are transforming what was more a European, Middle Eastern, and maybe even Arabic, Moroccan designs, more into minimalistic, modern homes.
You know, it's very similar to kind of what you would find now in Miami or LA. So people, you know, they want something that's very clean, that's very modern, brand new, very contemporary, state-of-the-art. You know, great amenities, gyms, you know, infinity pools, which you see behind us. - Open concept living. - Yeah. Lateral, open plan. You know, seamless kinda living, which before a lot of the homes were quite, you know, quite boxy and a lot of rooms. But now, people are kind of, you know, removing walls, opening it up, making it a lot more lateral.
(easygoing music) - All right, everyone. Here we are on the second floor landing. Nice and open.
Glass railing throughout. Staircase takes you to the third floor, which we'll see in a bit. But first, I wanna bring everybody this way.
We have a glass railing here. This is where you overlook your entry. And this door opens up to the first bedroom suite on this level. This one is designed for the kids. You have a nice king size bed here that has this floating effect.
It actually lights up underneath. I love this cantilevered bunk bed here, which is super cool. If I was a young kid, (taps) this would be my bedroom. Or my bed. - [Mikey] Looks like
a fun room, yeah. - Absolutely. I just love the colorful approach here. We have a desk. Owners are currently occupying the property, so I wanna kinda respect their privacy. This one is front-facing, has its own private balcony.
And over here, we have all these Poliform cabinets serving as your wardrobe space. We have this opening taking us to a full bathroom dedicated to the room. Same finishes are also here with the travertine floors. I love this gentle slope in the walk-in shower with the rain head above. Mood lighting throughout. We have the vanities here, water closet, another beautiful bathroom.
Now, right across, we have the second bedroom on this level. This one is also front-facing, and it starts right here. We have the bed on the left. Desk setup up front.
Walls of glass facing the front. Wardrobe setup here, and around the corner, we have this pocket door taking us to another good sized bathroom. Same finishes throughout. Now, coming back to the landing, I wanna take everybody back to the hallway to go to the other side to check out the seating area on this level.
And again, as you're walking towards this direction, you see these, just awesome, awesome views. Now, we have this glass-enclosed section, which is your seating area on the second floor. It's a clever design because it benefits from the natural light coming in from the second level as well as the lower level. We have a nice, comfortable L-shaped couch.
This very, very expensive Bang & Olufsen TV here, which is so cool. This thing moves and adjusts directions as you want, has these incredible speakers. I gotta say, I think this is the most exquisite TV setup we've ever seen in any home. - [Mikey] Yeah, we've never seen anything like this. This TV and speaker setup cost about $100,000.
- It's a different level. - [Mikey] Yeah, not to mention when that TV is moving, so it has a few different configurations, you can change the angle of it. But it's just, it's totally silent. And it's almost like unreal how quiet it is.
- Basically, what Mikey is saying, considering the size of the TV, when it moves, you would assume that there would be some sort of like gear sounds or like thing moving, but it is so quiet. You don't even hear the movement, and it really complements the seating area. - [Mikey] For sure. - We have also a balcony on this side as well facing the views. Sliding glass doors open up. And around the corner, we have this opening currently serving as your wet bar as well as the laundry room.
But they have the plumbing here already, which means in the future, they can easily turn this into a bathroom and enclose this section, make it another bedroom if needed. Now, right on the other side, last room on this level, we have the primary bedroom suite. It starts right here, and I wanna take everybody straight to the bedroom area.
This is a very cozy, intimate space. I love the low frame king size bed with a padded back wall. We have wallpaper throughout. These elegant ceiling-mount light fixtures that pretty much centers the bed. And it's a very, very cozy spot.
You have your built-ins on the other side with the calacatta marble, has more of the darker tone sort of contrast. But more importantly, in fact, I'm gonna take everybody outside because it is so great. We have these sliding glass doors opening up to a private balcony for the primary bedroom. And this is amazing. You're so close to the water.
You're looking at these amazing properties. That's the main Atlantis Hotel. That's the Atlantis residential development there. And this is such a surreal view. I mean, I'm kinda speechless. This is all manmade. - [Mikey] Yeah, when you kinda look at the skyline and landscape of Dubai, it kinda feels like you're in some science fiction movie.
You like look around and there's these crazy structures and really unique designs everywhere. I don't wanna say this, but it just feels like you're almost in like virtual reality. - Almost. In a really weird way.
But I mean, this is all manmade. This was a very ambitious project, and I'm talking about Palm Jumeirah. So they pulled it off, and it feels pretty awesome to be here.
- [Mikey] For sure. - All right. Let's go back into the bedroom to continue our tour.
This is where we have the bed. So we established this part. We have these pocket doors opening into the walk-in closet.
This home is currently owner-occupied, but it's almost hard to say because they have their furniture set up and everything's so organized and so minimalist, and this is their walk-in closet. Right in the center, we have a skylight and this skylight, actually, I think this is the remote. Let's give it a shot. (skylight humming) That's what I thought. You can actually cover this up. That way, you don't get any light coming through.
They have a few configurations. So I wanted to mention that. Good size, complements the bedroom.
And coming here, we have another pocket door here opening up to the primary bathroom. Marble throughout with the floors, walls, even the vanities. It's bookmatched on the floors. And I just love the minimalist and the clean design of this bathroom. Right in the center, we have this freestanding jetted tub with a chrome tub filler, shampoo niche, and right across, we have a small TV. That way, you can lay down here, watch your TV as you're enjoying your bathtub.
Now, on this side, we have this long vanity design with two shallow sinks. Again, countertops are bookmatched in the center. Chrome fixtures.
And this whole wall is covered with mirrors, and they are medicine cabinets. And there's a detail here that I wanna show everyone. If you wanna turn off the lights, you don't even need to touch. Simply just put your hand underneath.
Nice little modern detail. Beautiful bathroom. And of course, we have the walk-in shower on the other side. Body jets, rain head above, steam, everything you need. Polished chrome fixtures, and you have a nice full-sized frosted glass here to bring some natural light to the space.
Water closet with a bidet on the other side, and a little makeup area here. Again, gorgeous bathroom. And that wraps our tour on the second floor. Now, I wanna take everybody back to the staircase, so we can check out the third floor.
(chill music) All right, everyone. Here we are on the third floor landing. We have this door opening up to the study. Essentially, this is the only interior score footage that we have on this level. Right in the center, you have your desk setup. Poliform cabinetry on the right. We have some built-ins on the left, and it's a great space because we're a little bit more elevated.
Sliding glass doors open up to the patio. Your views are just simply phenomenal. And this is where you sit down, work on your business, and we have the TV on this side. Now, this home has a Crestron system throughout.
You can literally control anything you want from the tablets or the voice command. And with the push of a button, this is so cool, I want one of these, your TV bracket essentially extends out and brings the TV to a perfect angle. That way, you can sit down here, work, watch your TV, enjoy the views. I want one of these. - [Mikey] Yeah, it's just another one of those cool smart features, you know? - Like I said, I want one. It's awesome and perfectly positioned.
Now, right around the corner, we have this door opening up to a full bathroom for the study, a walk-in shower, water closet, vanity design, same travertine finishes, medicine cabinet, everything you need dedicated for this level. And going out towards these sliding glass doors, we have the patio space on the third floor, essentially, your rooftop deck. Around the corner, we have this awesome Jacuzzi. This is what I want in my life. I wanna sit down on my Jacuzzi, watch the sunset. Look at the amazing views. - [Mikey] Yeah.
Look at the Atlantis Hotel, you know? - Isn't this amazing. I mean, it's so crazy. It's so surreal. - [Mikey] Yeah.
- Now, coming back here off of the study, we have this seating area. And coming here, we have the outdoor kitchen with the grill in the center. Stainless steel finish. Your fridge, sink, and around the corner, we have a nice pizza oven. And I really like that they have this section all covered, which brings a lot of shade to this space. And right in front of us, we have the outdoor dining area with the fire pit.
And across from that, we have another outdoor seating area with a fire pit. But more importantly, from this angle, you see the amazing views of the Dubai skyline. We have another outdoor seating area here. And that wraps up our tour on the third floor. But of course, we're gonna spend a few more hours here, wait for the sun to go down, so we can see this place at dusk.
(calm seductive music) All right, everyone. That's it for the tour. I hope you all enjoyed this video. I'm so glad we got a chance to tour this amazing estate and share it with all of you.
And as always, you can find more information about the property in the description of this video, so make sure to check that out. Lastly, if you enjoyed the tour, make sure to give us a like, subscribe to our channel, and we'll see you guys on the next episode.
