In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. Prayer for the journey O Allah, may our day pass in peace and happiness. As you can see, I am alive. And we had a good night here. We left early in the morning because we have to get our motorcycle serviced.
But we are not really making any vlogs in the town. We did a little sightseeing last night. Didn't want to get into any trouble while using my camera. We are just going straight ahead. I don't know which way to go.
Because my navigation has gone crazy. It is clueless. One thing has surprised me here.
That there is a lot of load shedding in South Africa. Last night, I think there was a power outage around 9 or 10 pm. The light must have come after 2 hours. And then it disappeared again early in the morning. It was still night time I mean. The good thing is that it was not too hot here.
There was a cool breeze blowing. So I could sleep with the window open. They have given a schedule for power outage in this area.
So we have to arrange that schedule from somewhere. So that if we have to edit a video or do some work or charging, we can manage all of that accordingly. Overall, my experience of the downtown is just okay.
I don't think it is worth visiting. Places where you feel a little unsafe. You can't visit a lot of places. So we should avoid that. Unnecessary problems are created unnecessarily.
I was not feeling safe going there with my camera or mobile phone. That's just the intuition or sixth sense guiding me. I don't have any other idea about this place.

I think Durban is not too far from here. South Africa is a big country. You can reach the coast in 3 to 4 hours. The best thing about this city is that the traffic flows smoothly despite the busy traffic. The road network is excellent here. You start from the middle of the city and the highway takes you out of the city.
Within a few minutes. We have to cover 34 km. In big cities, it takes you 1.5 to 2 hours to cover 34 km. But here, it takes you as many minutes as kilometers. Landscape of this city is very beautiful. It is hilly.
The temperature here is amazing. It might be a little colder here in winter. Must be summer time right now. I have seen this for the first time. The police are not controlling the traffic. The locals are controlling the traffic themselves.

But despite that, the power issue in the bike was due to the air filter. Because the condition of the bike is very bad. So we have to get that changed. Apart from that, the spark plug is also not in good condition. They had the spark plug with them. But they said that they will order the air filter and get it changed.
Oil change, filter change, brake oil change will also take place. The front light may also have to be changed. But I told them to leave it as it is very expensive. It costs $350 to change the light. Only its clamp is broken. We have the bill here.
The bill is here. After the service is done, it will cost around $220 to $230. Oil change is included in that. Including the extra parts. So it is not that expensive. If I had got this done in the Middle East or Europe, they would have charged $700 to $800.
Because the labor cost is not that high here. The parts may be priced at a similar price. So, we won't have the bike today. They said that the parts will be delivered tomorrow.
They will get it changed tomorrow. And our bike will be ready. I will tell them about the other two or three issues with the battery. So that, it gets checked as well. Hopefully, we will get our bike tomorrow evening. And then we will leave.
We passed by Monte Carlo Casino this morning. I thought it was a casino. But it is not a casino. It is a shopping mall. We have come here to have lunch.
I am not alone. I shared a story while I was sitting at the BMW Motorrad. After that, I met Yasir here. He is from Gujarat. From Baroj. Baroj. I visited your city.

I praised the traffic a lot. But there is traffic here as well. Especially in the central area. Or around here. This is a business hub. Many companies and businesses are here. People come here for work in the morning which is a rush hour.
It's rush hour in the evening as well when people go back from work. But the traffic is not that bad. The infrastructure of the roads is excellent. Look at the beautiful area in front of us.
High rising buildings. And beautiful apartments. Big bungalows. Look at this area.
And the CBD area. The life here is very different. The buildings are so beautiful. I was talking to some locals. They told me that the downtown area used to be very beautiful.
There was no crime there. But later on, people from different countries came here. After the housing and crime scene started here, people and businesses started to move from downtown. Now people prefer to live in the central area. Most of the offices are here.
I have lived in Frankfurt for a long time. So I get that vibe when I come to this area. I hope that after the last vlog, where I showed you the CBD area, many of you must be thinking that Joburg is very dangerous. What kind of a city is this? So this vlog will change your perception.
There are two types of life here. One is the CBD life. And the other is the outside CBD. I have booked a hotel in this area. I want to enjoy the beauty of this area.

I have come to a steak restaurant in the same mall to have dinner. And we have a beautiful looking and hopefully delicious burger in front of us. One thing I have noticed in South Africa. Ever since I have come here, all the fast food chains... Or restaurants that I have visited...
Almost all of them serve halal food. Even though the Muslim population here is less than 2%. Despite that, it is very easy here to find Halal food anywhere.
And the price is quite reasonable. This burger costs $7 or $8 I think. And we have this drink with it. Passion fruit juice.
And lemonade. Sort of... So this is less than $2. Where can you find such delicious food for $10? I have paid a lot more than this in all the African countries I have visited. I am saying this as a tourist. Locals have their own perception and experience. So I am sharing my experience of the last 3-4 months with you guys.
