Tawang is a must visit in Arunachal Pradesh! Indo-China border, Indian Army, Holy Waterfall & more

I think that It is not necessary to wander the whole world Instead I want to go some such place again and again Where I feel oneness Because this such a weird thing That no matter how many kilometer you are far from home Still you get a home somewhere Hi everybody! And welcome to our channel At present I am at Guwahati Airport And heading towards Arunachal And heading to a very different side of Arunachal this time Where I have not gone before, which is Tawang Taking a helicopter to get there The cost of the helicopter per person is ₹4000 Which is quite exorbiting But in any case, you do a road trip from Guwahati and go to Tawang Then your cab cost can also be a lot But I just wanted to see that how is the journey till Tawang in helicopter Overall I really like Guwahati Airport The staff over here is very very nice and friendly In helicopter the check in and security is exactly the same As in flight And now we are going to start boring our helicopter My name is Obi Dhabi your crew for today's flight Tanya Ma'am, welcome to Tawang Thank you so much We have arrived at Tawang And we have reached over here by helicopter In just an hour and ten minutes Whereas if you will do a road trip Then you will take 12 hours Of course the only requirement is that the weather should be a little clear Because if it is not then the helicopter can't take off At present with us we have Tenzin Ji Who is the aviation incharge over here We hope that you will display the beautifulness of Tawang in your vlog Absolutely 100% Welcome to Tawang Thank you so much And Tenzin Ji dropped himself at our homestay Because we did not have any cab arranged in advance We've arrived at our homestay And this homestay is called Tashikhang homestay And as you may already know that I am a full time traveler So for me it is very important that the place that I stay should be very spacious There should be space to keep my luggage properly I can work from over here And in today's vlog not only I am going to share the travel experience And the beautiful sights of Tawang with you But also little bit of how I manage my work on the go I am also working with the AMD Ryzen powered HP laptop To really test its claim that it is one of the best travel laptop I mean honestly look at its size and how lightweight this is It already looks very travel friendly to me But I am going to test its claim of its battery life And the processing power So let's put it to a thorough test And usually before I start any trip I have to put all the devices on charging Because I have literally 10,000 devices that needs to be charged And now that this is set on charge Let me also give you the tour of our home stay Because this is a very good place So this over here is our room which is very spacious And there are more rooms over here on the each side of the corridor And this balcony is my favourite part of the homestay Because over here there are so many plants And this is our kitchen area and common room This is our host Tenzin Ji I wanted to ask you that in this part of Arunachal Which tribe is most prominent? See majorly Monpa's stay, Monpas And how did you make this homestay? I have seen that over here it is only you and your mother We both made it together You both have made it together? Generally I have seen that At many places financial decisions are not taken by female Specially in such places In north-east part everywhere you will get to see like this only Is it so? yes It is not that the girl has to be a housewife and sit and the boy has to work out Everything is equal By profession I am a junior estimator Okay In rural works division So you are doing a job and also running a homestay ? Yes So now we are going with Tenzin Ji We are going to Chakzam We are going to Chakzam She only told us about this And I am so excited Because this is a bit unexplored place, right? Let's go You sit behind So now we have came at such a place Whose name is rice bowl This is actually a village Which is a bit far from Tawang I think it is 20 to 25 minutes by car The view over here is so excellent Because these are rice paddy fields And the whole horizon over here is just filled with the paddy fields And this step formation is looking so beautiful At present the paddy is a bit small I can only imagine when this will be fully grown Then this will look so beautiful Because the whole horizon is going to look green So we have came to Chakzam And over here Chak means iron, and Zam means bridge Okay And you were telling that this is 400 years old bridge And there is just a small hike we will have to go down It is just 5 minutes We are going to be a part of history To see a 400 year old bridge So now we have reached to Chakzam bridge You can tell by looking at the bridge that it is so old So as you can see it is made up of iron It is told that this iron does not have any joints And that is the mystery behind this bridge That exactly how it is made And as you will notice over here the river flow is actually quite fast So this bridge is necessary for crossing the river This bridge was so amazing And to be a part of such ancient history So that was really amazing And after coming to Tawang I have noticed that Architecture over here is very different So now we are at Phun's cafe And after visiting Chakzam bridge And some nearby villages We got a little flavour of Tawang But also on Chakzam bridge we were able to shoot very good footage And that also additionally made me very happy So I got no chilled and I was just checking out all the footage right now And I have to say it is just so beautiful The best part about using an AMD laptop is that My 4K footage that I have shot They're not lagging at all They are getting playback very smoothly That is definitely a cherry on top of a cake of using This amazing laptop I do believe in do or do not, there is no try Good Your turn I will write subscribe So it's a next day now Today is going to be very exciting Because we are doing some touristy things in and around Tawang Today we are going to Bum La Pass And we are taking this vehicle And the standard rate of going over there is 5500 And you also have to get a pass made One day before travelling So we gave our aadhar card and our ILP To get the pass made And this is usually done by the driver only who is taking you there So today we are heading to few popular destinations But I just wanted to check the pictures of these places and see how they are Because, I also want to prepare for this video itself And thankfully connecting hotspot or wifi on AMD powered laptop Is very fast Usually in other laptops it takes more than a minute But in this it has happened very quickly So we are able to do that easily Before our network disappears Because after going on top we are not going to get network So let's complete our research quickly And then obviously continue the journey Oh wow! We have just stopped on the way And what views are there on all the 4 sides Can you see these little lakes behind me Water is melting and coming And everywhere small lakes are formed Fortunately it is also a bit sunny day So very pleasant Which is why I am not wearing a jacket right now Maybe by the time we reach Bumla Pass it may be very cold So now we have reached to Bumla Pass Basically it is the Indo Chinese border Over here nearby you can see so many snow capped mountains Almost at 15,000 feet In fact over here you might also feel a bit deficiency of oxygen If you are coming over here suddenly Still that is not happening to me and hopefully it will not happen This is the parking area where we are at And now we are headed to the border area Friends at present we are in such an area of Bumla Pass where there is army store And over here a song of border is being played What should I say this song is so much triggering for me Because in childhood whenever I used to listen this song When border movie was released I think I was two or three years old And whenever this song used to play My father was not at home in fact his posting had came to Tawang only At the time field posting And whenever I used to see this song I used to cry a lot I used to cry by seeing this song Today also after seeing this song I am only feeling like crying I don't know why This is just like my knee jerk reaction This song just always makes me cry I don't know why So the area which you are seeing behind me This whole area is of Bumla pass Over here there is a barricade, beyond which any photographs and videos are not allowed In fact over here you are taken in groups till the end point Where actually you will see the border In fact today when I came over here there were also some Chinese soldiers standing there And making a path Till the point wherever path is created on the Indian land In fact when we went over there first in a group Some people started sletching But then Indian Army told us that Please don't do like this and don't be disrespectful And you came over here to motivate us It is our pride that our tourists are coming from everywhere On Chinese side no Chinese tourist or civilians can come If you all will not be there then who will be there to motivate us And that was really touching We should be proud of the fact that Our tourist are allowed to be in the border area And our army feels so secure And they have so much control That over here we can come as civilians We are at 15,200 feet Surrounded by so many beautiful peaks Some at 5000 metres probably some at 6000 metres Besides that there is one certain peak it is in the shape of a shivling As we had came to 15,200 feet I thought that lets back up a bit of memory card Because my camera is almost going to get full And literally our 30GB data has been backup in four minutes That was pretty fast So before sometime we stopped at this very very beautiful view And over there was a small lake and many flowers And it just looked so beautiful And the best part about travelling and working on the go is that Any location can be your office So I sat over there only to edit my reel So if you want to see that which reel I have edited Follow me So now we have stopped at this hotel For eating lunch You make the tea without sugar we will add the sugar separately Over here we get cardamom this amazing Its evening time now and we have made it to the Buddha statue Which is overlooking Tawang City And this is a very beautiful statue It is visible from everywhere wherever you are in Tawang At present we are staying at Newmarket It can be seen from there If you will see from old market then it can be seen from there also So this statue is a very renowned landmark of here You should definitely visit over here once So now we have came to Tawang Monastery This monastery is how many years old ? 342 years 342 years Wow! India's largest Buddhist monastery Okay It comes second in Asia Currently we are at first floor of the monastery And over here Sherin Ji was telling us That the name of this place is butter lamp room So over here all the monks prepare butter lamps And they create it and keep it over here Actually these butter lamps are prepared for offerings Earlier these are lamps were prepared inside the monastery But due to them, the walls become black That is why now a separate room has been dedicated for it And over here literally all the walls are black So now nobody needs to worry about whether or not the walls are going to get blacker At present we are in the main prayer Hall of the monastery And all the offerings that are done over here They all are made from butter So on that side we saw that the butter which was painted And on this side there is butter whose offerings are just made Still they have not been painted We're back to our homestay now And today's day was very interesting Because we saw so many places And I also got a little bit mountain sickness To be honest Over here there is high altitude So you have to be careful and be mindful about that You can get breathlessness Towards the end I did get a bit breathlessness And I think that is completely normal Because you are going from a 9000 feet to 15,000 feet And today I enjoyed a lot by working on this laptop Like I got a video edited And It was so much fun working on it, it literally felt like butter My video got rendered while travelling And I have also posted it And I got so much done in just one battery charge Still it is at 50% Even though I edited a video Which is quite amazing And it is really fascinating How much a battery can last Because of AMD's power management system Besides that usually whenever I am travelling I carry phone, I carry laptop I carry chargers Even in the days So I was really impressed how I did not have to charge the laptop throughout the day And not remove my charger from my bag Because that is one less thing I need to carry And to be honest it is so much lightweight And the battery honestly lasted me through the day So this is ideal for a travel vlogger like myself To own a laptop which becomes your support system Because Love is life and processor is AMD Sorry bad joke So today we have left for Chumi Gyatse Or for Holy waterfall So now our hike has started And to come over here it took almost two to three hours By sitting in the car And the complete road was bumpy like this So we have came over here by moving a lot But I'm liking a lot by coming over here because this is a very non touristy place Over here mostly only locals come Because the waterfall where we are going It has got a very religious value The name of this waterfall is Chumi Gyatse waterfall It is also called Holy Waterfall Because it is believed that its water has holy properties So that is why this waterfall in this place is very nice And I'm so glad that we are here And we are doing something different and offbeat This path is so much beautiful It is definitely worth a visit Now we have reached up to Holy waterfall Over here it is believed that this waterfall has 108 streams And it does not have any source Because there was 1 saint The locals over here believe him He had made this waterfall from 108 rosary beads And another thing that I have to tell you is The whole area comes under the army area And all the way till over here We had somebody who was detailed with us To accompany us to the holy waterfall Because obviously it is a sensitive area We are very close to the border The mountain that you are seeing behind It is the part of China Above there, there is also one phone tower of China And on the way there was also a small cafe Which is run by the army Over there we drank tea, we ate biscuits They gave us sweets and chocolates And all this just because we are their guest not because this is a commercial project For everyone, for all civilians who come here This is how the army treats you And that's so amazing He is Lopa Repuche Who has basically created the holy waterfall over here Over here especially all the local come to worship him And this is a very auspicious site And the locals over here believe a lot in this waterfall So we have came back from our day long road trip And it was so tiring It was totally worth it, It was a very beautiful place But now I'm feeling tired a lot after coming back Because three hours one way Also for going over there we had hired a Bolero And cost of it for one full day Which was actually 10,000 which is quite exorbitant but we were not getting any other vehicle in less than this for going over there Most vehicles were in fact asking for 14, 13, 12 So hopefully in future over here shared cabs will be started I will have to tell this on the vlog that Tenzin Ji is a very good cook No no All the food that you have gave us till now it has been very tasty Yesterday also we had eaten Churpi vegetable It was very good I have not made its video I hope you will like this also Yes I will like this also I am waiting to eat So this is our whole common area Where we can sit and have our dinner Over here there is open kitchen There is also a room where there is a heater So we can also sit inside Dinner is ready ! Let's see what all is there Red rice, This is Monpa rice Wow! This is dal Simple dal This is oyster with Churpi, I have already eaten this a lot Momos Oh! yummy It is amazing Potal, this is called Potal Potal This is so Yum Wow! I am done So today our time has came to go from Tawang And thank you so much you took a lot of care of us You're Welcome Come again And you have also given us this very nice khada Thank you You're Welcome Thank you for your hospitality also Thank you See you again Bye bye Safe journey Thank you So just the way we came To Tawang Today the day has came for us to go And fortunately the weather is so clear that we can take the helicopter back to Guwahati But while going I was given so much love over here That East Today and Arunachal Pradesh CM Shree Pema Khadu Ji Also mentioned us Which was a matter of pride for me So thank you so much for watching And I'll see you in the next one Here we go again
