know looked legit man it was had the new Metallica yellow logo and uh there was something about the comments and the chat though you had to have been a subscriber of the channel for more than 10 years to be able to chat and I was like okay why why is that that's so weird and then I started seeing the chat basically it was just crypto [ __ ] crypto [ __ ] anyways now Metallica has uh made a statement about this but because apparently uh 51 year old Manhattan man was scanned by a fake Metallica YouTube channel into transferring approximately 25 and a half thousand dollars worth of bitcoin what you know apparently it worked that's why we're not seeing an end to scavs because there's always going to be that one guy that you know sends twenty five thousand dollars in Bitcoin to the scammer uh anyways Metallica uh have made a statement about this make sure that you watch verified accounts okay so much like my channel you know it has a lot on the uh end of the name right there and uh then there's all you know all these [ __ ] telegram scams as well in the comment sections oh my God that's a [ __ ] just make sure it says at Ola England verified account done deal you don't have to be scammed at 25 000 Bitcoin okay Charlie benante what a legend holy [ __ ] uh sorry I just have to stand up and pull down my pants that happens sometimes surely but not they are potentially writing new Pantera material I don't know how people would react to that I'm always open to the future he added okay so uh obviously last week Pantera did their first show or like Pantera tribute did their first show uh in a good while you know with Charlie benante sack wild Phil and Selma and Rex in Mexico on a festival hell in heaven or something and uh you know obviously a lot of people are stoked as Ernst Fox you know the the guy that made the graphic on the Adam Jones guitar uh the people were stoked as Ernest Fox anyways Charlie says oh man who knows he said creatively if we're just flowing and getting going and things are starting to be really good musically speaking you never know what could happen I've got tons of riffs but we're putting a card before the horse I like the positivity there but I don't know how people would react to that either at this point I think first let's get out there and establish that we can play I'm always open to the Future so okay okay you're you let's backtrack a little bit Pantera making a Patera tribute playing live shows right now I'm becoming more and more of a fan of this the more I see of the the show and especially Charlie because he was kicking all kinds of ass uh on the the clips that I've seen and he's an absolute Legend and I'm sure that sack wild will [ __ ] he will just own that [ __ ] eventually and I said before a lot of people are are stoked as [ __ ] Ernst Fox about this there's also a lot of people that that are just still won't accept that this is okay you know that they're out touring and people say that it's cash grabbing and you know it's not real Pantera it's not it's not real Pantera we can we can go back and you know we can settle that it's not the real Pantera but you know what what we have right here where they're going out on touring playing Pantera songs for people that some people of them have never even seen Pantera before now that is a blessing I've come to that point it's it's an amazing thing I'm extremely happy and I'm extremely uh Ernst Fox stoked uh about going to a Pantera Show maybe it would make sense to do this as a separate band name and not under Pantera I I don't know what is the right way of doing this uh you know I know that Charlie writes a lot of Rifts for Anthrax for instance so I don't know man I don't know I personally don't know what to think about this all right another very sad piece of news actually is uh there was an article with Devin Thompson on touring oh [ __ ] well okay okay perfect example take a look at this what is this okay all never an interview so already at this point this is fake news there wasn't an interview with killer guitar rigs all languages chat a little bit about how the music industry has evolved in elastic and England achieved to this oh [ __ ] man uh okay so basically I I said something about social media and people getting tired of social media I think now just pinpointing it down to social media it's Facebook Facebook is a problem in my opinion uh and I think most sane people have already left Facebook to be honest and you know it's just the uh the rest that's there I don't think Facebook is a good platform uh nowadays because it's become more about you know clickbaity tiles that would bring people into going to another website to watch advertisements so people get paid it's [ __ ] and they I'm not personally like privately on Facebook I have my account there but I only use Facebook uh for like cross posting but then I also I just cross post from Instagram uh and uh you know I never go to Facebook so when I get tagged and I see [ __ ] like this you know with the clickbaited title it's like oh holy [ __ ] okay it's like a it's like a weird Universe you live in [ __ ] hell this freaks me out why is my name up here above uh James heftel explains meaning behind 72 reasons and all these things man that doesn't make any sense why does my voice matter so much you know I should really be careful with what I'm saying but also I don't want to be censored you know I just want to be me can't you just let me be me no okay thank you all right let's go back to Devin Townsend because this article is very important okay Devin Townsend is saying on touring in the post-covet era it's gotten way worse I try to go out with acoustic now because that way I can afford it so he's referring to the cost surrounding touring okay and that it's become very very expensive to tour it's kind of way worse I don't think it's better at all actually because the cost of touring now with inflation and the cost of gasoline and diesel plus over the course of the pandemic we lost a ton of really good venues I say probably 50 percent of the workforce in touring has now left when covet hit you know the the crew members got hit the worst in my opinion I mean the artists still make money off their their music and all of the extra stuff but the crew that are dependent on tours they got hit really hard and they had to get uh jobs basically and now after people and bands are screaming for good guitar techs and uh you know the good guitar ticks are basically taken so yes it's open up again but it's 10 times as expensive it's like what do you do even little things like okay the hotels are more expensive the food is uh the food that they'll tell is more expensive so at the end of it you're touring for what you're touring ultimately so you can present your work to the people who care about your work and that's worth it to me but I think for anybody to think that that it's now easy again you should investigate that because I'm trying to set up tours for next year and there's no way to keep them within cost there is no way so what he's saying is that you know he Devin is an excellent musician and he releases albums upon albums and as a musician you tour to support the albums okay and touring would bring in money usually but at the point where we are right now Devin has to put the touring as a marketing aspect for the album so he has to pay basically or like go uh or like break even with the touring just to support his album so people buy more albums it's not it's you know the touring aspect that's a really really hard and tough job right there where do you go uh you know logistically you have to move all these people and uh music to different venues and play in front of people and you know you sell merch but as you saw venues they take a cut of merch and at the end of the day you're not really making anything anymore so why would you do it like Devin you only do it because you know you know that there are people out there that really wants to see you play live I think this is hitting a certain block of bands way more than others I mean you know bands like Metallica and Pantera and like the bigger bands Gojira and ghostness and you know the the big block of male bands they can still go on do this because they're still a buffer where they can still make money off their shows and they can charge uh you know insane prices for their shows uh the middle bracket of bands just like Devin Townsend who is a well-known musician and you know he's he drives a big band and he's a big uh uh he's a big name you know that bracket where you know you can't charge as much for tickets he doesn't cost as much as the bigger bands but you know the cost of actually touring is the same for those bigger bands as for him you know it's gonna hit him really hard so it just sucks ass man and I really feel for Devin in this case and I also saw uh you know back when he released his previous his new album now that he he made a post basically asking on Twitter uh asking people like you know I I I I hate this I have to basically beg you guys to almost buy my album and it sucks ass it does I don't want it to be like this you know I do this I beg of you guys please support what I do please but but I don't want Bevin to do this Devin is way too important for this so it Buffs me out and speaking about ticket prices because this goes hand in hand a little bit I check what the Metallica tickets are for this uh new M72 World Tour that they're doing whether they're doing uh you know two shows and they have have a different opening act and so on and so forth and I checked the prices for this in uh in Sweden next year obviously this is a special event and it is Metallica One of the biggest metal bands obviously and biggest mlx that attracts the most people the price for a standing ticket like you know in the audience is 200 Euros a good seat is 190 euros and the regular seat that is not good is uh 160 euros and this is a lot of money and this is for the one day ticket of the Metallica show are people willing to pay more you know if they if Devin can charge more for his tickets would you guys go still you know this is probably the only way this is the only solution no I don't know it just bumps me out a little bit because you know uh Devin is such a hard-working musician he deserves to go out there and earn money while he's touring easy as that all right last but not least Guns N Roses Axl Rose promise to end Mike throwing after Aussie's injury Guns N Roses front Panax Rose has made a powerful promise after a woman was injured why am I laughing stop stop laughing during the bands I delayed concert the lead singer said that the band would stop their 30-year traditional microphone throwing at concerts in the interest of Public Safety oh [ __ ] had they been tossing microphones for 30 years that look that's also a touring cost you have to you know when they throw out microphones like this that you also have to count that to the budget of touring we don't want anyone to get hurt oh [ __ ] Rebecca Howe claims axiro's microphone hit like if what you're following and like how how much reach do you have and then then we can propose something for you guys so there is obviously always going to be a chance of becoming a solo artist
