We finally made it back to the Yorkshire  Dales! It's a place that's very close to   our hearts. Yes! We've been here several times  - yeah - and we just love it. I don't know,   the the landscape. the villages, it's just  breathtakingly beautiful. Yes. And we're now   at a village called West Burton - yeah - and  we just discovered there are wonderful falls   here. Yeah. The so-called Cauldron Falls. Jörg  said 'Leaky Cauldron' from Harry Potter. Yes.   And yeah, the village is absolutely absolutely  gorgeous and we just have a wonder around. [Music] In front of me is the primary school and  although this village is very small it does   have a pub and a tea room and everything  is centred around a green. And you can go   for amazing walks. You know, whenever we are  here in the Dales I feel like I don't know as

if I'm happiest here because I've loved  the Yorkshire Dale since I was a child. [Music] So we are now in a very small Yorkshire village  called Redmire and the reason why I actually   picked it is because I've been a fan of the series  'All Creatures Great and Small', have been my   entire life. I've loved the BBC series. I do love  the reboot as well. So so for those of you who've   only started following us maybe, we did film here  in the Dales and showed some 'All Creatures Great   and Small' filming locations and yeah, we haven't  been here and Redmire was actually used for the   Darrowby bus stop and they film at the farm and  yeah. People are so friendly here. I really love

it. Now I wanted to show you this bus stop in  Redmire because it's used in the reboot series   'All Creatures Great and Small' as the Darrowby  bus stop. And right next to it is a very lovely   cottage which is for sale. So Redmire is small  but it has a luxury bed and breakfast called The   Old Town Hall and we just met the owner. Yeah,  we had a very nice chat with him on the village

green. Yes. So what's your first impression of  the village? It's a very nice village. It is,   isn't it? Very inviting. Yes. It's just I don't  know. You feel that everywhere you feel as if   time stood still. Yeah. And Dave the owner of  the B&B so we met him here on the green - yeah,

as he was preparing these pits. He was opening  them up - yeah - and we were like okay - what's   this? What's that? And he told us he's preparing  the grounds for a game - yeah - which they call   'Quoits'. Quoits yeah. Yeah. And it's a very old  game they play in Yorkshire. Yes. Like and they   throw rings or - so here, it's underneath is clay.  Mud. Clay and mud yeah. Yes. And they have to   throw rings here - yeah - and we never heard about  it so we thought that was very interesting. Yeah. [Music] This is Hardraw Waterfalls and it's the  tallest single drop waterfall here in   Britain actually and it's behind The Green  Dragon where we will have lunch in a minute. Jörg is still at the waterfall filming and  I wanted to tell you about The Green Dragon   Inn because we came here 3 years ago when  everything was still in lock down and the   pub was closed so this time we desperately  wanted to come because the inside of the pub   which is very charming and quirky, I think it's  from the 13th century. And the interior was used

for the filming of 'All Creatures Great and  Small' so I can't wait to go inside have a   look around. It might be very busy so fingers  crossed that I can film a little bit for you. [Music]   Are you James, Siegfried or  Tristan? Who who are you? No,   I'm George. The farmer. Oh yes. Yeah. Well,  first of all cheers. You know my name Jörg is,   I've been told that it's ancient Greek and  it says farmer so that's right. By the way,

what do you think of the pub? Isn't it beautiful?  Very very quirky. Very original. Yes. Let me so   let me try to go to the room next door because  I think main filming took place there actually.   So they actually have several rooms. This is  an old fireplace and there's another one next   door but um, there are people in there. Have a  look. Isn't this beautiful? I love this so much. [Music] Wow, that was quick. The food came quite  quick. Jörg has a cheeseburger and I have   scampi with some chips and peas. Looks good.  Here's another room. What do you think Jörg?

Isn't this pub a real treat? Yes. It's just  unique. I think it's a must visit. Look at this. We are now at the Wensleydale Creamery which  is only about a 5 minute drive from the Green   Dragon Inn and it's famous for its Yorkshire  Wensleydale Cheese so let's have a look around. [Music] We are now at a place that we actually had on our  list for tomorrow. Yes, it's Yockenthwaite Farm.   Yes. We drove by it by chance so - yes we drove  by it and it's used in the new series of 'All   Creatures Great and Small' as Helen's Farm. Yes.  I think in this series it's called Heston Grange.   And I have to pinch myself because I've wanted to  come here for so many years. Yes and the location

is just beautiful. It's it's stunning. It's  absolutely breathtaking. So here's the post box. This is the bridge and the farm building. I'm in love. See and the sheep.  Sheep are coming. Ah this is my dream. Oh thank you so much for  doing this because this is my dream. Now this is actually a public footpath  so you can cross the bridge and if you are on   a hike you can walk along the path right  next to the farm building and take it all in. It's time for a snack. Yes. And we  we are in a small and picturesque village

called Buckdon. Yeah, Buckdon. Mhm. And we  actually bought something at the Wensleydale   Creamery - yeah - well, cheese. Yeah we bought  some Wensleydale Cheese. Exactly. And crackers.   Mhm. And something to drink. And I'm wondering. So  behind us is The Buckdon Village Stores. Yeah. I

don't know. Do you think it's still open? Yes.  You think? Yes. Okay. But it's closed now. Yeah   of course. It's Saturday past 6 o'clock  so. Yeah. See Telegraph office so - very   old sign. Yeah. But it's just breathtaking here.  And look, the weather it's so gorgeous. I can't   believe it. This is what we have so that's  the famous that's the Original Yorkshire   Dales Wensleydale Cheese. I don't know. I think  we never had it. What do you think? Don't know.

I'm not sure. And we bought some gluten free  cranberry and raisin what does it say? Slim   and ultra crispy toasts - yeah - and a drink.  Sanpellegrino. Aranciata Rossa and Limonata.   What's it like? It's a bit like toast and cheese  and marmalade. Yes yes because of the cranberries   yeah. It's a good snack. The cheese looks very  buttery. It's funny but it's good. Really good. [Music]   Good morning. Good morning. So it's now almost  8:30 Sunday morning which actually when we're

traveling it's quite late. Yes but breakfast  starts at 8:30 here - yes - so we've got no   choice. Yeah. But the house seems to be still  very quiet so we figure that the other guests   might have a lie in. Yeah that seems to be. Yeah.  This is the view out of our bedroom window and I

don't know if you can see the sheep. It's such a  wonderful landscape. I really love it. So you can   see that it's cloudy but it's not cold so that's  good. Now before we're heading to breakfast I   want to show you our wonderful accommodation.  Stow House is a boutique bed and breakfast in

the heart of the breathtaking Yorkshire Dales.  It has eight rooms and we couldn't recommend   it any more highly. We stayed in the so-called  'Kes' room which we absolutely loved. Here are   some impressions of this gorgeous house and well.  I hope you will like it as much as we do. [Music]

After enjoying a scrumptuous breakfast  we hid the road to take in more of this   breathtaking landscape and scenery  that make the Yorkshire Dales so   very special. We were driving through  the market town of Hawes to reach a   special place that we just needed to  see once more. Yockenthwaite Farm.   [Music] The next stop on our list is Arncliffe. Yes.  Well, we must admit we were inspired by the   new 'All Creatures Great and Small' series  - yeah - and found out - they filmed a lot   of things here. Yes. And well, we fell in  love with what we saw and thought we had   to visit. This is St. Oswald's Church here in  Arncliffe and apparently the outside was used   for Helen's and James's wedding. The inside was  filmed somewhere else. I can't remember where it

was but yeah, the church looks beautiful. In  the middle of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. [Music] This village is definitely a wonderful hidden gem   so if you're looking for something that's  non- touristy this is highly recommended. [Music] Well, we arrived in Grassington and it started to  rain but you know what? It's fine. We somehow I

feel as if we have a little clock that says okay  now you can I don't know now it can start raining   because you will go home very soon so we don't  mind. And we ended up in a café first. We are   actually quite hungry - yeah - well, what have you  got there? Um - it's a - cherry cake. Cherry cake   yeah. And an Americano. And I have a scone and  a cappuccino and you know what? The owners, they   lived in Germany for 10 years. They speak very  very good German so that was nice. So that's the   little café that we visited and it was nice. Yeah,  it was really nice. The owners were very lovely. [Music] There are, I was going to say some people. Of  course not people. Some behind us are quite

hungry. Yeah. Have a look. Yes. I hope you  can see it. what did you say this morning?   I call them living lawnmowers. Yes but  very lovely and adorable ones. Yeah. Well,   it's time for us to leave and we don't  want to. Yes but the Yorkshire Dales, we   just love them. Yeah. Honestly, it makes  me it makes me emotional because if work,

money wouldn't be an object I think we could  easily move here. Yes it that would be an option.   Yes. Who knows what's going to happen. Well, the  only thing we can do is return. Yeah, we'll come   back. Yes. And we hope you like the video. We  had a wonderful time so thank you so much for

watching as always and we'll see you again very  soon so until next time. Bye. Bye. Bye bye. Bye. Hey! How are you? You okay? Look! So funny. What are you thinking?  Strange couple. Yeah. Stupid humans.
