MY BEST MOMENTS exploring Nepal
Namaste. Namaste, my friends and welcome back to our last and final video of the Nepal series. Nepal 1.0 series my friends but as they say best for last right and so guys that brings me into what today's video is going to be about and it's actually going to be all of my favorite moments which I must say was really really hard to decide because I had so many great days, so many great moments and memories in Nepal but of course in order to make this video I had to select my top 10 favorite moments exploring the beautiful country of Nepal. So, guys I just want to mention I'm not putting these moments in any specific order from best to worst because first of all it's kind of hard to decide which one was best, which one was worse out of like my best moments but also at the same time I want to just randomly lay them in there exactly kind of how I feel so we're gonna go ahead and jump right into my best moments exploring Nepal.
Yesterday, I arrived to the airport I arrived from the airport yeah what's your name nice to meet you man a very long name yeah yeah what's your guys's names nice to meet you guys my name is all right let's go get some beers let's go let's go we gotta we gotta see where the good place is to go then yeah okay okay all right well let's see uh first place somewhere with a Nepalese beer we'll do one beer don't worry you won't be stuck with me all night one beer and then uh we go our separate ways yeah thank you thank you and you're the guest in the YouTube video so it's on me next we'll come to Chicago you got yourself a deal it's on us perfect perfect all right well let's do this then boys let's rock there we go let's rock Mac let's do it let's do it supper Club up this way Namaste bhai good club from the United States by the way Namaste good club yeah yeah perfect perfect it's a nice nice Lounge yes nice lounge and it's nice Vibes perfect perfect so guys this is the night right here been there we're going to be checking out the uh one and only Supper Club all right now what's your name brother. here in uh Kathmandu what kind of guy you are like pop guy or drinking guy or what kind of like a city guy sometimes tracking sometimes moms uh no I'm doing that in five days right okay this is not in Tamil right now so I recommend yeah sizes no hot spot you need hot I got a hot spots I'm sure it'd be an honor I got it anymore for my sister you can go to Pokhara mainly perfect number four yeah all right there it is there it is oh this is gonna be great yeah it's going doing great and what are you guys plans for the rest of the night uh like just hang out yeah exactly big night at the fourth of there oh wow it seems like the groups of people will come in at a time because now all of a sudden it just got nice and clear might be a good time to get a photo so this is the ticket they give you when you come in and oh hello my friend for one week one week yeah and with the ticket you can go to see the monk spring in the monastery they are praying at like uh half past one o'clock it brings you good luck make your life peaceful give support energy also you can go to the peace Park where Buddha used to take a shower is to clean our mistakes and scenes yeah oh that's incredible I'm from the US oh I do have my friend in Pennsylvania Pennsylvania very nice I'm from Wisconsin Illinois yeah you have like a two Washington Washington DC Washington State oh yes this is Stanford District of Columbia yeah yes I live there too yeah 50 stars represent 50 like states of United States continuous types represent 13 original colonized country by England yeah I'm hoping that after I leave Nepal I'll know as much about nepals you know about the U.S the last states is Alaska Alaska is one of the biggest Hawaii Alaska is the last state right oh he knows his geography better than I do question I do okay as a guy here I have been guiding here since 15 years even I have guide the people from Ethiopia all over the world I speak only in Nepali yeah my name is nice to meet you my name is mac and I have been here guiding since 15 years yeah for like one hour I'm waiting one hour I will take you to the monk spraying place you can make a nice picture of the months four years or months I will take you to the monks School how they study and the peace bar okay okay I'm gonna do a quick search around and maybe I'm gonna find you then yeah maybe I'll find you in just a few minutes yeah they turn everything gonna be closed oh okay because first you can have a guide and later you can have your own time because with the guy who can know very well out to go inside maybe I'll find you in just a little bit brother because I'm gonna do a quick little uh all right brother thank you so much all right wow this is it right here incredible it's like a city with inside of a city here that is incredible Namaste all right we've got lots of gift shops surrounding this place probably inside here you're gonna pay a bit more just because of uh the proximity to the beautiful stupa right here looks like some very nice paintings over here look at that wow very beautiful look at this all the way around it you have so many bright flags and colors and on the very top of it up there is like gold plated almost with a face up top right there all right so I wonder if there's an entrance to go inside anywhere around here if it's just walking outside I might go back and find our guide in just a little bit but I wanted to uh cruise around get a feel for the area first oh and look at this right over here there's a huge bell right in front of it and it's got like a bunch of writing on the Belt let's get a little bit closer so we can see that oh wow and the pigeons are flying away looks like we arrived right at the right time look at this the entire Bell has uh writing all up and down it you wonder how long something like that would take to build or to not build but uh basically sculpt or weld a lot of dogs hanging out by here this must be the pigeon Park find somewhere we can buy some feed back hey namaste right you're from Kathmandu yeah yeah it's very nice city uh from the US oh yes thank you so much Dani avad thank you thank you all right so we gotta find where we get some pigeon feed right here uh uh hello uh how much 100 all right so we got 100 for the feed there 100. thank you I'll take the big one which one's the good one this one all right let's see if we can hook these uh oh all right let's see who's hungry oh oh this guy's got one in his hand oh how does he catch him who wants to eat here mmm I got the good stuff right here who's hungry yeah let's see this everyone oh wow look at this they all they all jump in the air when you toss it up in the air all right we've got food for everybody yeah like I picked it right up I was like wow how do you do that I don't think I want to try that though I don't know if they'll like being picked up um oh they're just jumping in on it scared we got the good stuff you want some oh whoa the good feed geez there's got to be how many do you think there's they're here probably like two thousand three thousand of them yum yum yum oh yeah got plenty for you all don't fight over it whoa oh yeah look at how many there are there there's enough for everybody here hmm they're jumping on each other to get it they know this is the spot to come find the uh the good stuff and we got him jumping on the feed even all right all right that's all we got we're all out oh that was cool you get a lot of feed there and the uh pigeons are feeling full I can tell you that after the amount of buckets that are being tossed out there for a day and look at that even up on top of there the pigeons are just hanging out they must basically feed here get a bunch of chow get some water there and then they go right up on top of the temple and just kind of hang out over there foreign so it looks like as you're walking around this place you can go like this to spin them see it keep her spinning oh and it must be on like some sort of like bearing that's very nice yeah from the US yes oh thank you so much what'd you do here uh YouTuber very good yeah thank you so much brother so this means uh good luck yeah for the compulsion good luck you know and how many times do you do it when you go around normally when you go once and even you can go three or seven and are you supposed to touch every single one yeah oh really everywhere oh that's amazing how many times have you walked around today no I have a tour guide I have a group oh okay I came here with a group oh very nice very nice you have given them three times oh very nice oh that's great and what's your name nice to meet you too pleasure to meet you so where do you escape yeah I'm staying over in Tamil yeah so we're leaving yeah okay have a good time in Nepal thank you so much nice to meet you brother see you dhanibad that was really nice of him he uh gave us a quick little understanding so you walk around you can go as many times as you want and it brings peace to your soul it's really uh amazing there's so many of them each one of these uh little slots inside of here are hold about four of them it looks like well this one's got five so it seems like this one's got five as well so I think some of them are five some of them are four and you just go around and spin oh these ones seem a little smaller than the last and you got to reach in further wow and this entire area all the way around there's shops looks like there's even restaurants up top oh and there's an extra big one right here oh so it looks like the process right here is uh touch the flowers and then go up to the door and give it a spin right there try giving the big one a spin oh that's a heavy one you really have to spin that thing pretty strong okay so yeah oh there he is oh it's already been one round and we're back yeah yeah now I will explain you about this place you can record my video also I can take you to the wrong spring place and the peace part okay so you know all the good places how much do you charge because your happiness is my satisfaction yeah you're a good man it looks like a student okay not a student but I'm a student of life every day I learn oh you have a nice philosophy normally people they appears like a 2000 rupee okay you know I'm I think I'm gonna keep walking just for a little bit longer okay yeah oh that's very nice if it's expensive just pay 1000 rupee thank you brother I'm gonna walk a little bit longer than maybe maybe yeah I might see you in a bit don't worry about can't believe I've already walked an entire lap around here goes by fast when you're uh spinning talking to people feeding the birds but uh yeah it's really really beautiful I wonder if there's any uh souvenirs we want to pick up in in these spots I'm just curious what the prices are can I enter here brother you can enter oh this way oh this way sorry brother thank you thank you brother you're going the wrong way here guys there we go and let's uh let's try entering this one wow oh only enter here wow this is the biggest one in here oh wow it's heavy beautiful in here though twice oh good so we go through here twice all right so we got a nice uh introduction from our uh guide there here I think this is uh oh wow this is another huge one whoa and then one right here on the way out and this brings us it looks like a few staircases up and they have all of these incredible murals on the wall very beautiful Namaste oh it's very nice of you thank you brother I appreciate it nice to meet you guys so this is the best place to uh see the stupa yeah this area when you go up to the second floor or second or third floor right here we've got some nice friends from Kathmandu all right well I think we're going to continue with today's tour and head on to the next spot Donnie VOD my friends Namaste see you next time I can tell you I can smell some food though so we're probably getting close to a good place to start testing out some of the local Cuisine this time I'm not going for any recommendations I'm just gonna stumble upon a place but I do have a couple in upcoming videos that will be oh no thank you bye no thank you for the Postcard brother all right here we go we are going to be going into we're gonna be going into uh famous Momos so it seems like this is a pretty popular place got a couple spots we're eating over here namaste wow all right cozy little restaurant namaste oh yes for my first ever Momos I think this is the spot yeah good one oh very nice even I I haven't tried if you haven't tried your first time too all right today's a big day hello namaste oh the buff Momos those are the good ones right yeah Buffalo yeah yeah yeah oh I'm gonna have to try those then how big are they but like probably I should try like five of them yeah or I'll be full 180 okay I don't know like how many pieces oh how many okay we'll ask him then perfect did we order here yeah perfect Namaste bye uh one buff Momo how many uh pieces is that ten oh so I only need one I'll be full yeah uh we'll do it here hopefully the Buffalo ones are the best right yeah perfect I've heard they're the greatest thank you so much oh that's what they look like that's what they look like and what do we have here so we've got a number then I don't know okay so number 18 will be me then yeah oh yeah that's 12 right now perfect see I guess you can tell it's a popular spot this place is pretty busy or not a single seat is open but 180 is going to be about what's the conversion on that probably about 1.50 gets you uh 10 of them so a full meal here
oh that looks fantastic so what's the process cooking them back there so basically it looks like they boil them over there in there and then pulls them out looking oh we're making progress they're moving towards us what number are you hi oh that's you all right all right enjoy um are the Buffalo ones spicy uh is yeah well only if you add okay perfect foreign bye there we go oh yes oh so you add that no okay perfect pour it right on there yeah a little chilly then yeah so I should try this one oh thank you try this first and what is this um I don't know like a curry sauce yeah it's called butter cheese oh perfect let's get that poured right on over there oh yeah we've got a nice little soupy amount like that yeah perfect perfect thank you thank you very much grab um thank you so only they have they don't have a port oh it's perfect though it's past time I've seen like having a fork yeah I'm from the United States from the Chicago area first day I arrived three hours ago okay so this is my first uh first time trying uh getting that police food in my life I'm excited for it so here we go we're gonna try this one oh my God that is delicious oh yes and actually welcome to America Nepal thank you so much thank you Danny bye bye yeah guys it is delicious basically what we're looking at here is a steam I think it's steam dumpling right steamed dumpling yes and it's got like a buffalo flavor not much of a spice unless you add the uh the chili pepper on there yeah and keep in mind they're fresh out of the kettle so they're like super super hot did you take like a bite into them you have like a noodle texture mixed with like almost like um break one of these apart maybe like minced meat is done yeah these guys are close-up of that minced meat right there um trust me everybody was telling me before I got to Nepal you have to try the Buffalo Momos and I'm like now I understand why why I'm probably gonna eat these every single day every single day yeah okay how long you speak two weeks probably seven days in Kathmandu and then seven days in pocara yeah yeah definitely do yeah yeah um you get a nice portion maybe a total of 10 of them on there and you really do need the uh the curry sauce because I tasted one without the sauce and it just tasted like it was missing a flavor but when you have that sauce basically doused in it you basically have it swimming in there a bit you get that going and then that is a proper bite right there wow and you're from Kathmandu thank you very nice it's a beautiful city yeah actually I'm coming from Australia from Columbus OH very nice so you're just here on vacation yeah and I'm living on Sunday Sunday on Sunday oh so your Trip's over yeah almost done did you did you stay in Kathmandu or you went to other places that's amazing my sister-in-law and my wife yeah so you guys are all traveling Sunday no just you and your wife and is it Columbus Ohio oh very nice yes it's like a five-hour drive from uh yeah yeah that's great yeah mmm so would you say this is the best meal you can have in Nepal Nepal it's like the Momos yeah wow yeah it was I was just walking down the road and I was like I want to find a Momo's place and then of course I was like I'm not gonna look on uh TripAdvisor for any reviews I want to stumble across the place I mean I saw famous Momos and I was like this is the spot how would you say versus other Nepalese uh Momos the better or the best you've ever had here um I can rank right now because I I haven't tried all of this so I can say it's the best one it's the best oh very nice well guys we got lucky I can give like rank if you want to say like uh four four out of five four out of five oh nice nice yeah yeah since I've only ever I've only had these guys this is like incredible this is something anywhere in the world I'm gonna be ordering Momos whenever I see them on the menu now oh that is so so good I'm a YouTuber YouTuber yeah yeah wow so I can see that yeah you'll be in the video yeah give me give me your uh or whatever it is yeah so world no back on YouTube yeah okay I'm gonna call you tonight so that means when I get there I can see my face there right exactly yeah you can be watching it'll be like you're back in Nepal yeah yeah yeah yeah that's perfect last one here we go um drink there we go so I gotta do that too that is how you finish your meal here yes that is fantastic wow guys that was I knew they were gonna be good because I've had dumplings but I didn't expect them to be that good oh my gosh oh my gosh well guys so nice to meet you yeah safe travels I think you could probably like a local Kitty get her for like 300 or 400 but you know nice guy and uh when you're in uh durbar Square obviously things are going to be a bit more expensive than if you're at one of the side street markets so uh that was the little trip through there nice locals experience got some tea as well oh perfect we can actually pay with a Visa then one round trip please where are you from side uh United States 2840 rupees pay with a Visa yeah what time is it open until it's cold up there yes sir thank you very much all right we got ourselves a ticket 32 bucks for foreigners to go up so yeah it's uh It's gotta be worth it it's gonna be a big one but I think it's gonna be amazing we have till 8 P.M let's see oh entrance up there then
oh we've even got views maybe on the way back down guys we'll come and check that view out but I want to get up there before the sun sets and here is the ticket they gave us so they actually even have my name on it foreign visitor entrance right this way hello namaste uh round trip please thank you oh this Donny about thank you all right we're gonna be going in guys I am ready for this here we are oh it's uh like this stand here I thought we were getting in that one I was gonna be like oh I hope that's not the cable car all right looks like I'm getting my own Daniel mod oh all right we got number one too guys the number one cable car I'll be taking this one all the way up to the top here so I see why people Trek back down and save them some money whoa all right when we leave this area it just starts going in full speed and it looks like we even have some windows wow she wasn't kidding it is actually cold I'm gonna go ahead and set you guys up here while I well I get this uh jacket on this I brought this oh this thing goes much faster than I expected it to be look at this we're going straight up the mountain oh and behind us we can see Kathmandu look at these views guys it's a little dirty on the windows so maybe we can open up this window oh yeah that opens all the way up then you can see more clearly guys foreign wow guys this is insane look at this we are cruising up I don't recommend putting any hands outside of the car I am double checking at the moment right now to make sure look at this oh holy we're getting way up in there we're you might be worried guys as you can see we are chasing the sunset as we get higher we're getting closer to seeing it we're even getting some rays off the top of there so I think even though we've missed Sunset the funny part is down there in the valley we miss Sunset but when we get to the top I think we'll actually get a few more moments of it because obviously the sun's got a lot longer to go down oh my gosh look at this I wish the windows weren't so like dirty because it is so so vast look at oh oh my God guys look it out there you can see the tops of the snow-covered mountains I wonder if one of these are Everest oh wow this is insane oh my God okay worth the 32 dollars this is literally insane oh whoa all right looks like we're going up another oh whenever you go over those things guys you feel like don't fall don't fall don't fall but it is like you can tell it's a brand new cable car I mean take a look around we have someone's masking chips here outside of that but in cable car number one we actually have a really nice seating here velvet uh or like red color seat and uh honestly uh a nice nicely designed overall seems like these doors are pretty oh oh don't lean on this door look at that oh that's off the track oh no that's scary I'm sticking away from there keep hands and feet off do not lean against door that's why and no smoking in here so it looks like right up at the top there might be where we're getting off and we're almost able to see the sun I feel like the sun's going down at the same speed that we're going up but the Viewpoint it's so so peaceful guys I'm gonna stop talking for a second just listen oh I was listening I was just looking out and look at those mountains there it's they're saying it is literally insane these mountains are above the clouds there we go we are very high up in the mountains I'm getting my uh backpack on because it's it's that timer we're gonna need to be ready to jump off we're coming up we're gonna be showing you these views in just a moment for now we're coming in for a landing right now Full Speed Ahead YOLO hello oh it's quite the line right over here we've got the operator here Namaste all right we have arrived oh yeah see this is the long tooth that we're talking about and oh do we have the phone I think I put the phone in my bag let me just make sure yep got everything all right and it looks like the break time 6 15. we have arrived and it's like the day is just beginning as well this is insane oh and it's a little a little more chilly up here too once you get up to the top you're like oh it's a good thing we brought the sweater wow let's check out what we're gonna be able to see over here we've got viewpoints in some of these directions seems like we're limited on some of the areas we can walk but let's check out over here oh and the sun's still high up in the air over here it's got all those mountains still to go down this is literally insane at first like when you look out you think those are all just clouds but actually those are all snow-capped mountains on the top of it that's amazing all right it looks like we are 8 268 feet so about a mile and a half above sea level 25 20 meters oh yeah that's what happens when you take a 10 minute cable car up to the top we've even got some ice cream it's probably a little cold for me to get the ice cream but maybe some cotton candy on the way down little grocery store here as well oh guys and the nice part is it's just pure brisk fresh air when you're up here you just take a deep breath and you can just feel the oxygen go straight into you and so far like we'll see once I start walking up this I guess there's a Viewpoint up top we'll see if I'm like out of breath at all I don't know if I'm at a high enough elevation difference to like you know make it a bit harder to breathe I think it's only when you get much much higher Namaste hey this is the best spot to uh view all of Kathmandu yeah yeah all right so it looks like we've got the temples of the left conference Hall view tower playground Amphitheater Health post oh zip line oh that's gonna be fun we'll see if it's still open oh yeah I guess I am running out of breath a little quicker climbing up the hill right now looks like this is the map here we've got uh the bottom station is this where we just uh I think the top station up there oh there's even a resort that's amazing change of Geary Hills where wishes come true well I can tell you my wishes are coming true because this is incredible you guys just look at this place architecture and design is amazing good hand railings a really clean overall benches to sit down proper drainage there yeah I already did yeah cool to the feeling hands are starting to go numb good thing I brought a bought a pair of gloves recently ah all right highest zip line in Kathmandu oh I wonder if it's free to go up or oh wow this is this is where you get the good shots nice photo spot here yes yeah wow guys this is something you see out of a movie there's just clouds going through the mountains all right I can tell you when you're this high up you run out of breath a little easier this is this is insane when you imagine Nepal's nature this is the definition of it so it's the highest zipline Kathmandu at altitude of 2551 meters that sounds pretty intense I don't know if it's free or what the deal is let's go up here and check it out there's two right here a smaller one and oh they've even got some nice kind of like paintings right along here Chandra giri Hills with the cable cars the temple up top with the mountains that's amazing we've got food center down this way playground and view Tower we'll see if we can convince someone to let us go up just for a quick minute if we only missed it by eight minutes little gift shop up here and uh let's check it out they've got a full-on like place up here though it's just beautiful all right let's see here oh the door's open ah Namaste viewpoint uh for one minute just to earlier there's a bunch of seating here where it looks like you can have a nice ice cold beer looking out into the mountains this way and then right down here that's where that playground is over here so even yeah if you bring the kids you can have them play over there so family friendly and look at this now that the clouds have cleared out you can just see the uh incredible silhouettes of the mountains very very nice but uh looks like they've got a full bar back here for people that are coming up here to party and we've got Picard in there Captain Morgan a little bit of the good stuff the beer oh they call this the Beer Garden there's just something about being up in the mountains guys I have so much energy it's just like probably the brisk cold feeling along with uh just like looking around and like you literally feel like you're on a green screen all right well let's see what we can see maybe the temple might still be open we can check it out look at this this is something else let's see if the camera's I don't know if you're gonna be able to see it very well with the naked eye though you can see this perfectly just the mountains right up there I cannot get tired of this view this is insane I could personally though I can't imagine climbing a mountain like that like getting up there in the snow Avalanches possibly happening for all the people that do that's amazing and I wish I had the uh the thrill adrenaline and uh what else would you call it The Bravery that you guys have I'd probably be a bit too scared to do it oh we got a ticket Connor over here looks like that's where you can get some sweaters if you're cold as well as uh maybe tickets to go on the ride I think the temple is closed so I'm not sure because nobody's up here but we'll just walk from over here because I don't want to upset anyone if it's closed right now but it looks like this is so Majestic like this is definitely one of the coolest locations I've ever seen a structure like this with the um Mount Everest I don't know actually I don't know which mountain is Mount Everest but like the mountains that remind me of Mount Everest if it's not and then it looks like over here oh we can actually oh that's the uh Lang Tang himmel range Namaste oh so this is the langtang him all range yeah yes very beautiful yes very beautiful the president oh okay very nice it's a beautiful statue the president of Nepal Miss Vidya Devi bandari so this was made 24th September 2017. very nice let's do it brother yeah foreign and it looks like right over here we have just an incredibly beautiful viewpoint that leads out oh you can actually see down into Nepal we're far enough away where it's just kind of like a hazy look at this hour and actually that must be the resort right down there and you know it's an elite one when they have a helicopter pad right in front of the pool wow just an incredible place up here guys to be exploring this is uh for sure one of my favorite things I've done so far I mean I haven't done any nature and I do love nature I love the cities too and like the energy but it's nice to get up here and uh feel it feel the uh nature that Nepal has Mount Everest there it is 8848 meters Standing Tall but unfortunately I can't see because the trees in the way there but uh now we have a general idea at least where it is so we had a cruise back I think around this way to get to the front and purchase those uh gloves here my fingers are ice cold it is a massive temperature shift when you go on top of here I'd say I should have even brought my winter jacket with me probably gonna get sick from this but we shall see maybe not oh there it is how was the zip line very good nice to meet you this is it my friends welcome to Nepal wow we're walking down this way and range right there it's really nice that they have these boards all along the basically rim or the railings so you can point them out because at first when I was walking up I guess I was so excited to get up I didn't notice them and I was like I wonder which mountain ranges are but of course they uh you know if it's designed this well of course they're gonna have the signage for it this is such a cool View walking down straight towards the mountain we got singing going on here too with the locals that's such a nice uh sound on the ears walking down in hearing people sing good boy down boy sit interesting they even have a get your free Visa card stand right at the top that's uh probably the coolest place I've ever seen in my life to be able to get yourself a Visa card at the top of a mountain this is this is gorgeous guys I am speechless I've probably said beautiful or gorgeous or any of these describing words like descriptive words like maybe I don't know a thousand times since roller coaster right there might be shut down for business oh there's even horses in here I did not expect that I thought all the rides were just mechanical not uh not the alive stay good ride right there uh this ride's open open tonight no oh it's not open oh that's a bummer it looked like a fun one there's not too many other rides over here that I would say uh are for adults but this one looks like it could be kind of wild if they really speed it up some sort of little raft over here that's kind of like what bumper boats Maybe oh wow there is even a whoa this theme park must be much larger than I thought because there's a train going by over here or is this like is this like the competitor people are playing soccer there we've got the the train going by right here oh yeah we're cruising up by namaste let's stay oh yeah they got that that train in full operation man I think it looks fun one day when I have kids I'm gonna come back here we're gonna go on that train I think I'm probably
