[Music] hey good morning everybody it's brian and krista with water arts and adventures just wanted to show y'all this morning uh we had a little cool front i guess dragging through here down in northwest florida and we have got double red flags this morning that beach is turning up and not to mention we have what they call a red tide if no you know what that is it will absolutely scratch your throat make you cough sneeze everything so we're getting out of here [Music] all right everybody i'm at a little place in cleveland georgia it's called vintage blessings this little thrift shop antique store some friends of ours that used to let me keep my paintings here and i sold a lot of them so i just wanted to show y'all around i got to show y'all what i found in vintage blessings in cleveland georgia everybody that knows i am a jeeper my wife didn't turn the corner and found this little thing and it was going home but i'd like to introduce you all my friend kim this is her place and i mean she's a great person thank you but i just want to show you guys around this place has a lot old antiques a lot of thrift stuff decor a lot of homemade crafts and stuff in here but when i lived up here i was going through my cancer treatments and stuff about two years ago i used to have this wall right here is where i kept all my paintings and stuff of course it's changed since then but anyway where we live in florida you don't see a lot of places like this where you could actually see homemade handmade crafts and stuff it's just like an indoor flea market type deal but this like i said this is in cleveland georgia it's called vintage blessings very good people running but this is this is kind of stuff i miss because down on the beach they don't have yard sales they don't have flea markets i love that old cast irons and lanterns and all kinds of stuff i made pallet trees and stuff yeah i'm more of a rustic person than i am a beach person i guess you can call me a beach bully exactly know that you're related so i'm not gonna bring up [Music] oh all right everybody we're in cleveland georgia and we're at this place called uh yonah mountain bookstore looks like an old train depot really neat and uh they've got this old steam locomotive that has been sitting here probably since i i mean a little kid when i could remember but uh i've actually done a wood burning painting of this same locomotive it's been sitting here on the side of the road but it's just uh just an interesting piece of history that every time i just see it you know i've always loved old trains and stuff and those of you that haven't seen this you know i wanted to make sure you did so anyway this is in cleveland georgia and it's a old train depot that i guess they rebuilt and put here but it's a bookstore on the same inside and i've actually had some of my art displayed here when we lived up this way [Applause] just wanted to show y'all around inside this little bookstore all right y'all this is a piece of art that i did it's a wood burning painting cabin and it's still here in this bookstore surprised nobody's bought it but yeah this is almost two years later since i've went through cancer treatments that i've been here and this is still sitting here but i just wanted to show y'all guys when i lived up this way i had art scattered everywhere where all right y'all that don't know this is the chattahoochee river runs through north georgia they were doing pistons yeah [Music] yo this is beautiful helen georgia lit up at night time okay um foreign [Music] so yurt [Music] so [Applause] everybody this is downtown helen georgia it's in white county georgia so a little town used to be a log in town and i'm sure some of you already know but the ones that don't that's this has uh been recreated into a little german swiss top town they've got all the shops just like authentic looking and they have all kinds of treats and pretzels and like germans a lot of beer and stuff like that right now it's the end of october and they're having oktoberfest this is hansel and gradual candy kitchen they actually make candy on site all kinds of fudge and stuff like that goodies they actually have sugar-free stuff in there for people that uh the diabetics and stuff torture y'all with that has some candy apples and of course everything's not open yet because it's early in the morning and we got here kind of late last night and it was raining so i just wanted to show you guys around you can see some of the trees around here already have lights on them and stuff this place gets decorated for christmas i mean it's just beautiful yeah this place has fudge shops they do all kinds of stuff up here you can buy all kinds of souvenirs jerky hats this that other i mean it's just a maze of all kinds of stuff to do mountains are so beautiful up here this is a little area i got to live in for a little while while i was going through some uh cancer treatments and stuff over in gainesville but we love this place my wife and i actually got married up here there she is and they just built this about two years ago this is the georgia mountain coaster it is awesome it is very fun you sit in that little coaster thing right there and you have like hand brakes which i don't ever use but it's a blast there's all so much you could do up here i mean it was beautiful if you've never been here and this is the little wedding chapel and my wife got married at here in helen georgia in 2010 had our just basic friends and family here small little church but it's just so neat so country but this is why this place is such a memory for us we love it this river in the summertime y'all they do tubin and you rent tubes from a couple of different places here but they do your photos as you're floating down the creek and stuff so that's something any kids could do or whatever it is so pretty we floated the same i mean a ton of times with friends back when we live around north georgia the water is crystal clear and there's still you can still find gold in this thing there's a lot of formica and stuff fool's gold but uh i mean there's so much to do up here i love nature i get tired of that beach there's only so much you can look at and then makes you homesick but i just wanted to show y'all this place this weekend made a short little trip met up with some new friends and uh you know we're just kind of relaxing before we head back to reality all right i'm on the side road in helen georgia and sorry about the traffic sounds and stuff but this is a little place called jumping jumping goat coffee roasters and uh they do all their own coffee gourmet coffee gourmet candy is a georgia grown company it's just an old old building on the side of the road sort of famous goat that they have anyway if you guys like just old country stores and stuff this this place is pretty neat i know there's some other youtubers that out there that i watch big time in the coffee would absolutely love this place they even got their little stuffed mascot goats and stuff [Music] good morning how are you um or you can get a bag of tea mixed with this the rest of us love coffee i'm sure he would and i think we're going to get one of each of your other so we're getting three together correct [Applause] next door to jump and go coffee is normal nora mill greenery this whole grist mill right on the river it's one of those grinding wheels we could see him pumping the corn out of his truck where the mill is place was established in 1876. there's another old dress wheel all right this is behind the mill you see the river and here's the dam where they used to have old water wheel over there that helped grind [Music] but this is on the chattahoochee in northeast georgia just wanted to take you guys out they never seen this place and just let you know so beautiful up here right here they usually have fish food so you can feed the trout and stuff there's a lot of trout a lot of people do trout fishing up here big big big tournaments and stuff like that [Music] [Music] [Music] i don't know if y'all could see way down there in the river people actually i
