4 Days in Northern Thailand's MOST UNDERRATED Region
good morning good morning my friends from Thailand it is my first time back here in nearly 6 years and I'm super excited because we are heading into a region of Thailand that is not as popular as places like the islands and Bangkok we will be exploring the Northwestern part and sharing with you some wild adventures as we start out by meeting some elephants in a [Music] sanctuary driving deep into the jungle to locate some hot springs where we can make some lunch that is g and then visit the Grand Canyon of Thailand so we're going to be walking right on the Dragon's Back look at how narrow this is right there oh along with some exotic caves and temples you will not even believe are real so get ready to see a side of Thailand you never imagined in this raw travel Vlog let's go hello Thailand it's not just any trip it is the trip with the fan we've got mabula we got the Cubs and we got do dear old dad who's catching some [_] over there where we're heading right now is we are at an elephant Sanctuary so this a little bit different than you know you see a lot of those excursions all over the country where people are riding elephants doing all this here they have elephants taken care of really well you get to Bath them you get to hang out with them maybe feed them we're going to see and we took about a 2hour drive 1 and 1 half hour drive to get out here from Chang Mai so let's head on over and see what this place is like oh yeah it looks like we've got a little buddy right here next to us what happened to you oh my God looks like a friendly little guy so cute another one we got another one just chillaxing hi elepant please don't run towards us oh yeah he wants to come and hang out give you some of that footage fgy I know right good boy sit cut we are here at the elephant Freedom Village and we're going to take you so close to some elephants today let's [Music] [ __ ] all right we are walking in thank you cop cop let's get this on all right much better oh looking fresh in that one not really but guess the job done all right looking fresh dad looking fresh dad oh let's do this first time in Thailand for the Old Timer first time in Thailand ready to see some elephants oh I'm I've seen some already all right well round two or three then that's right all right that's the Chow we're going to be feeding the elephants B you we had a banana CH can the banana or the CH can is not real for the elephant just next yeah the real food like the gr you know and then we had a banana there by the way my friends one thing I wanted to mention is I've actually how their trunk is so he sees I've got the banana look at he just grabbing oh he he like it's the ban look it grab it that that thing just grabs that all right he knows I've got one more open bone bone bone oh yeah there we go oh that's all that's all we'll get some more you got me and Sierra in here Sierra Sierra bone bone bone yeah I want b b no they told me that no they tell me that here you go bone bone and hold your uh arm up here watch watch the the older ones know better watch this bone bone b b oh that one's that one's a little intimidating look at these tusks on there bone bone bone bone bone all right there we go oh he dropped it look at that oh wow get up there he loves you welcome to Thailand oh he knows he can he can smell it in the pocket look at that he know he knows it's in the pocket look at this thing oh oh I have one here let's go oh yeah wow it's pretty fascinating to see that it's like one big muscle right there b b b b B oh let's get that thing oh oh oh we lost it b b oh there we go never would have thought today I learned how to put my hand that close to a massive animal's mouth Jun need a single get in there sit down in that Ben Junior he's going to end up eating you next these guys just had a full meal look at how big this thing is oh ho he wants to get on camera he's like who's got Chow who's got Chow he's searching around the bananas are all gone brother this one's just a little elephant too and it's still massive it's like a mini dinosaur right here yeah oh [ __ ] that's their Footprints are so big you have to walk out cuz they're like craters yeah ready for a little lunchtime just about he mhm those bananas were white delish talking just look at the tails on these things M when you feel it's like a really tough skin you don't want to have your foot caught under there do you dud man I don't think so I cherish my toes yeah me too and watch out for that thing get whipped by that three lashes from that it's pretty amazing though these Tails have like so much power can just control it to swat the Flies and you can hear it kind of hard to hear but when it really flips that tail you can hear the from the wind all right it looks like it's feeding time over here the big ones what is this oh oh you see that's how they uh break it apart he steps on it kind of falls into pieces yeah and then he's able to chew it bit easier that's a delish piece wow oh it's got a nice fresh smell to it here's where the chopping happens oh yeah and splits that in half all right so this is this is the good one right there right o a fresh piece just for you M M M fresh piece just for you flip it over to the good side so he knows this is the good one oh look at that thing just juice right out face from there this reminds me the sugar can juice I had over in India they just press it down with a little less pressure than that elephant foot but o delish I know I love you too budddy and then the thing about it is you'll see me turn it around my dad's catching content this elephant like we want Chow look at that a whole pile of chow you can't even decide which one's the good one which one's going to be the freshest the wetest and the most delish what about this one oh yeah got a lot of options here so much fun you can do andb you can grab I think that one's a girl right right and he just tosses it after he gets as much as he can out of it all right so this is actually banana stock so what is this tastes like banana comes from a banana tree wow all right so definitely not sugar cane but it does have a similar look to it but it is look at just look at how juicy this is the juice wow that just com right out that's why these guys love it oh yeah he knows I've got the good one right there good it doesn't good you don't need thumbs when you can do everything with your trunk that's nice juicy piece right there let's get this one added into the mix oh yeah how about that that's a nice one oh yeah crunch that one right down oh yeah delish no no no going for an itch there look at this from these elephants itching right here it's just completely soft bark that is pretty amazing feel how soft that is oh what's going on over here he's doing a little itch too wow it is it's like it's been sanded down just rub that off huh yeah you could sell that at an antique shop yeah custom made elephant wood uhuh elephant wood yeah we just saw some that wasn't W TJ TJ goes it's a female like was that the eat 10% of their body weight that's what uh they said before per day yeah man oh man that's hungry eat all day that's a hungry guy she's going for the milk oh really little dessert right there the right there oh wow little nursing action look at Le Mama wow went from bananas to the uh trees don't move don't [Music] [Laughter] don't look at him going up there grabbing a little ch way up there while using that tree to lean on it look at these guys we've got the little baby right here that's thinking about going in he's just done a couple reverse back and forth and now he's stressing himself out just trying to hop in that water oh no he's doing a little uh head scratch there these guys are chilling all right leads them right in and it is time one dive mat cold all right you go get him kill so unfortunately here my GoPro died but we pulled out the phones and did a little bit of swimming with the elephants that's right we literally climbed into this Ponder river right here and bathed the elephants it was a pretty wild experience because these are huge animals but when they roll over into the water they actually feel a little bit smaller and you have to scrub their skin because of how thick it is just just to clean all of the dirt off look at these guys they like to spray us here oh oh my god oh yeah full shower for you he wants to make sure if he's coming out clean you come out clean too all right when the elephants decide it's time to go that's when you know it's it's time to go Retreat Retreat oh this one's coming right up this way better get out of his way oh bath time is done it's probably feeding time now and as soon as you finish cleaning them off they will hop out of the water and immediately recover themselves with dirt I guess for the reason being that it keeps some of the bugs off of them and that my friends was a trip to the elephant Freedom Village and it was about 1,600 tibot per person which comes out to like 4 $ roughly and it was an amazing time it got us up close to the elephants they're treated well here they get to live like they're living out in the wildlife but treated so well so an amazing time a lot more videos to do here in Thailand if there's one thing you'll find in Northern Thailand is an unbelievable amount of waterfalls everywhere you go we are arriving here to mocha waterfall on on our way up to Pi and look at this beauty just constantly pouring the sounds of nature we've got the two of them coming up it's a nice little 10-minute hike some of the waterfalls you got to work really hard for some of them you can just drive right up to this one was a 10-minute pretty easy hike to get there if it was a little warmer out would be perfect to hop in there and go swimming so we are walking through this wild forest cuz all around here are Vines hanging down and like it's crazy to see all this wood just grows and wraps around you feel like you're in a Tarzan movie and then you feel like you're in Jurassic Park when I show you what we're walking up to and that is you guys are look at this 90 to 100 Celsius here so that just gives you an idea how hot that is that is boiling water that is just spewing out of the Earth right here and the dud man's going to be cooking up some eggs in here okay all right I do my phone so essentially he's making hard-boiled eggs you can buy them here at the national park and yeah here we go 15 minutes it says here the temperature of pong duet geyser is about 90° follow the tutorial your result will be as pitch you can boil egg boil cooked yolk but soft egg white at Hong n Ram R taipa 15 minutes it says 15 minutes they've got these sticks right here if you're living close enough to a hot spring in in places around the world you can actually have your own personal hot spring which means you have some hot water coming directly into the place that you never have to heat so it's pretty wild to look at this I've seen a couple of these before in Yellowstone National Park in the US but never anywhere else in the world so it's cool to be back here and having some breakfast being cooked right up oh yeah you can smell that sulfur nice and strong that's coming straight from the earth oh yeah it fogged up your glasses a bit actually if the steam doesn't come directly at you you can't smell it as much as some of the other geysers that I've been to probably cuz this one's a little bit more tame but yeah it just got such a rotten egg sulfury smell to it but uh when you're making eggs I'd say it's quite fitting hot here we go and here we go the Chow is coming out after 15 minutes of cooking hot hot hot oh yeah I don't know if you want to be holding under that oh don't don't don't keep it keep it he's got fingers of Steel we can like walk it's the plastic the bamboo is fine it's the plastic that's hot oh okay sweet you got the Sal soer here we come all right we got everyone lining up for cow breakfast is served right on all right you know it's hot because all my life my dad would grab the pizza out of the burning hot oven with his bare hands bare hands dude bare hands how do he do that oh the subscribers are going to love you Dad look at that it's really SP not so hot no not so hot oh look at mabula she knows what she's doing not her first rodeo not her first egg yeah she's got hot pads buil in hot pads look at that getting that survival mode I know right who's going to she's the type of person you'd want to be stuck in the wilderness if uh we were on our last uh she'd be the one we'd have to eat [Laughter] last survey says mother nature style oh that is some delish groceries dad that white is good delish groceries g o d good let's go ahead and open this bad boy up oh yeah that is hot that is smoking hot oh oh thank you talking about you let's try that baby out we got half now M that is freaking delicious and hot but yeah you can't really taste any of the sulfur in it just tastes like a typical hardboiled egg but you feel like you earned it when you cooked it out here in nature nature that is g o d oh yeah after we had an excellent breakfast oh yeah he already knew what I was going to say now it is time to head over and check out the hot spring that is exceptional oh but as you can tell this trip is surrounded by tons of fantastic humor and dead jokes and so once we get down here we're going to see Mel's First Reactions seeing hot but we're existentialist but bu existential and we're seeing that same little Spring River running all the way down this way and it leads to the hot screen oh I got some look at that look at how big that ant is that was on my head he looks like someone who would bite if I uh left him in the Hat oh sweet so this is like a a full-on hot spring Chiller right there got the pool leading down this way that looks awesome I guess a couple different baths that lead into it is the water pretty warm yeah really warm oh yeah so it looks like they must just have a pipe that runs right to it oh wow oh yeah that's super hot you almost wish it was a little colder it'd be one of those uh places you want to come like late at night cuz here in the mountains it gets like a little brisk chilly at night so coming and chilling in here o we got to come here and stay out one of these one of these next times look at this water's pretty clear too it's almost like a natural Resort here leading this way another Pool down there yeah that is pretty awesome yeah what I was saying is it's uh it's the type of place you want to come at night here in the mountains like if we were staying up in those cabins dad that would be pretty sweet pretty nice yeah they've got some cabins all around here you can come and stay up here hanging out here at night 45 celsus what is that in Fahrenheit like what are we talking like 110 no 130 I have no idea yeah I mean it's prob it's hot so right now with the sun beating on us it doesn't feel that refreshing feel that you might feel when you go inside of like a pool but this would be great if there was like a cold pool over there and then jump in the hot and switch over 113° 45 C 113 right so yeah that's that's pretty warm now that I have my feet in it it's not hot yeah yeah you get used to it too it's hot but it's not like w yeah it's a little more relaxing Co oh no I feel like this one's almost hotter even though I'm sure it's not maybe because we're in maybe CU we're in direct oh no this one's a little warmer uh it's a little cooler I mean yeah I don't know maybe it cools down in this whole area cuz when you put your hand in here it feels like it's so coming fresh from the spring but yeah this is this is awesome great spot to come and chill if you're up here in the northern part of Thailand I know relaxing and chillaxing look at this I'm being told these are all private hot tubs right here so you can soak in the nude so does that mean uh on the other side they just have a unrestricted view like this side there's walls other side you can kind of see out into nature usually not that I've been in because uh to contain the heat gotcha gotcha got you and right down there through there is where all the cabins are so this would be the place where you could come stay a couple nights here I'm sure they have internet and everything cuz I'm seeing a satellite dish if you want to have a nice little movie night at night it looks like they're pretty spacious as well you can see that there's some sort of I don't know if you guys can see that but a huge bed right out there balcony probably could use a couple chairs out there but hey hey looks like an awesome place you just really do feel like you're out in nature I'm not sure which time of the year is like the super busy time here but right now there's not that many people and so we've probably seen 25 people total in the couple hours we were here so just kind of gives you more of that like non overrun feeling because obviously Thailand's a super popular [Music] destination we are arriving to P Canyon right this way and as you can see like with most of the places here in Tha you're going to be able to find some ice cold drinks right when you walk in and it looks like mabula even found herself one here oh we've got coconuts here these let's see I might have to join for one coconut two coconuts please brother and Coconut's on me on me it's on me on it's on me no no yeah there you go no yep no no up just a moment got to get the machete out to take this thing out right oh nothing thing's popping right open strawberry all right delish my love okay L all we got one oh yeah ladies first enjoy it's cold too let's see how it compares to the others H the SP o of that oh yeah popcorn cup and um mango smoothie and strawberry smoothie all right we are heading up to see the Grand Canyon of Thailand here in pi we found a uh monkey on the way up here and it's getting our workout in for the day oh yeah oh God my I don't know how you do that cuz I'm strong like bull all right and we have made it up just about and we're about to see the canyon the GoPro is definitely not the type of camera I don't think I see a canyon really oh first time seeing a canyon be careful on these Ledges you can literally go straight down oh God very very yeah oh and these are like platforms people walk across here wow wow so we're going to be walking right on the Dragon's Back look at how this is right there oh no here good boy good boy hello over there but yeah this is beautiful landscape here Green Mountains in the distance lot of green vegetation as you're going to expect up here in the beautiful northern part of Thailand right outside of P you can tell we're a bit out of shape cuz uh that's not that far of a hike and we're out of breath so we're walking through Pi's walking Street a one-of-a-kind place that turns into a full on walking Street Marketplace thought you were to get whatever I am vlogging oh yeah as you can see there's Chow everywhere being made fresh on the streets oh yeah that looks delish and then all along here find yourself some clothes to purchase and we're going to see if we can find ourselves another dessert I'm sure I won't be able to sleep but who needs sleep anyways that's for the dead that's right all right we're coming back for round two brownie it was too guys we're going to be feeding and they're just coming straight near the river they're just waiting in a line right here look at this this is crazy and they're huge who wants some fish Chow I've got look at that these fish have evolved into just coming to the cave and just jumping out of the water fish out of the water mhm it smells like dog food too it doesn't smell like the tastiest food but hey they seem to be loving it give some over here oh yeah too 20 one more yeah one one more uh oh another location inside oh okay all right let's watch him watch him go all the way over here s chow chow now look at this guy's just got his mouth open right there I want to make one in his mouth look at him oh yeah he's like please I'll do anything for at least one I'm trying to make it in there we go oh look at the catfish right in the middle there look at it here this one look at he's just begging he's doing that poor little guy down there copc corn cop all right look at this guys we are heading into the cave that was such a cool way to start out you have all these fish right there massive fish in such Shallow Water swimming around and they're just completely overpopulated and uh it was awesome to uh just be able to feed them hungry little guys but now we're heading into the cave it's feeling a little chili inside I'm not sure why he said it was hot in here cuz it's good thing we brought the jaet jaet oh careful there o we are crossing now the wooden bridge these are the places in Thailand you got to go to that are far outside of places like bkock oh it looks like it's a huge drop right here but really it's just the water no it's it's not it's an illusion it looked like a huge drop but it was only one foot down oh really yeah it was the reflection I saw what you saw all right it is pretty dark in here but it's cool you can see all of the cave formations as we're walking through the stalos sites and stal limites I still don't know the difference people always tell me in the comments but I someh never remember it's Stone oh look at this stone is that like a Sandy Stone yeah stone look that a pancake Stone eh mhm pancake don't touch no touch pancake pancake yeah oh a fresh little pancake Rock right there delish oh my god when you're walking through these places it's always pretty mind-blowing to see how these different formations are because they're not really weathered with precipitation outside dripping from the caves oh wow like a waterfall yeah Sun H be thereare let's do this how you guys doing in here pretty wild with those fish eh man haven't done it yet no there's two spots to feed right when you walk in and then the second one is probably the one you're going to now oh yeah oh yeah that first one oh yeah yeah some feeding a lot of feeding a full bag yeah oh man that was pretty sweet all right Budd they were chowing down eag eag head we got an eagle head right up there look at how high it is that's scary I'm not going to look up yeah wow I see why Cav men lived in caves it's a nice little place you can turn this into a mansion custom made and look at this now we have found the popcorn there's about every type of delici yes yeah looks put a little butter on there that could be some good Chow popcorn with a little extra salt too oh we're really going in here yeah these types of places are a little spooky cuz you're walking through and you know you're in a cave and it takes a special type bravery teeth oh what do we have here teeth oh yeah yeah that's a big tooth right there that's like a wisdom tooth wow you can just see when the light brightens it up a bit how vast these caves are all right so there's the difference we got stalagmites and we got stoc sites stalagmites have been formed where dissolved kelite water dropped from coiling or tip of stalite onto the floor lately Waters evaporated leaving calcium carbonate accumulated on the ground and growing up the shape of stalagmites depends on gravity and often has a splash cup at the Tipping Point so that is how you remember the differences between stalagmites and stalos sites so I think it means we've got both inside of here yeah mhm all right we are heading over to the boat right now we got to take a little wooden bridge we're taking this staircase really really steep set of stairs we have made it yeah yeah saai saai so we've got like a prehistoric reindeer writing here where you can found in a high level Cavern there's all this writing right there thousands and thousands two or 3 thousand years ago to be exact you know see see oh yeah 2 or 3,000 yeah you see oh yeah yeah yeah right there right head body tail like like like like sun that's very nice all right you getting the foot down let's do this these are some steeple steps we're taking a little Cruiser right on over all right sa all right we're doing it oh we got them hungry oh look at these we' got the fish right coming near the boat they must know hello hey who be there hola we just started the boat cruise hello all right hello look at this we got them right down here they're just swimming by got the bats making noise as with everything in life there is always light at the end of the tunnel but in this case we're talking about a cave all right land aoy we have made it back and that was an insane ride left over chill who wants CH oh oh he's he's getting the bottle I just got all in my shoe let's eat let's eat it's time it is time look at they just going nuts all right see if I can avoid falling in kind of hard to walk along this oh oh oh subai subai yeah this place is truly something else but you can tell where right near where the bats are I think I either just got pooped on or peed on or that was water I'm glad I got the visor right now but everything is just over here just covered in so much bat crap look at this this is insane this is like one of the coolest caves I've ever experienced in my life and this gives you a better look so we're riding on these boats to get in there obviously was super dark and there's just a lantern and then a guy driving the boat in you can take some shots chill and just look at these let's do this oh and the views keep getting better and better my friends wow as we go up just to put in perspective these are how narrow those stairs are or Steep and we've made it up to the top here we're not seeing any bats cuz obviously how bright it is but this gives you that view of everything the gopro's blowing it out but essentially you have the river running through here leading out down into the trees there you have this whole big area this gives you a much better understanding of why cavemen had once lived inside the caves provides amazing coverage it's a little cooler here than being out in the hot sun and there's water running straight through it that's awesome all right and we are back to the entrance where it all started this is the illusion Mel thought it was a major drop off but it's the reflection cup all right so that was a nice little cave exploration see you guys in our next place [Music] all right so we just arrived to the guest house that we're going to be staying at and how we ended up here actually is my dad's friend dud he booked a place for us up here in Northern to Island they double booked and so this family was nice enough to open up their house for us where they normally have I guess a few months out of the Year this place turned into a guest house and so it was closed down for the season but they reopened it for us and we're going to give you guys a little tour around this place now keep in mind since it is closed down there are probably some areas that they have a little bit more upkept than normal because they literally just opened it up for us today and let us come but it is an awesome place so let's go check this out right when you walk in you see this almost like I guess you could maybe call it like a horse with all of these flowers hanging right there there's a few plateaus which I'm sure light up at night to hang out and over here we have probably the coolest room in the house I want to say that's probably the families that owns it their area maybe an eating area we're going to have some Chow at and then we'll show you our place on the other side in just a moment but first we got to show you probably the coolest spot they've got which is right inside of here and check this out so we've got that finished concrete look on the inside a bit of modern and Thai mix here with as you can see the wall accents coming in here we've got like a bluish uh concrete and yeah really nice bathroom modern and exquisite and then over here we've got a little day bed so AC in all of the room and then where we're all spending most of our time is chilling out here on the deck the king and queen of chillax in here eh how we doing how you doing not to B A and yeah look at this guys this is our view so so beautiful the amazing part is it's like we're living with the local people here I mean it's not like we're sitting next to a resort where we have a bunch of other tourists our neighbors right here are local Thai people from this area and so you really get that integration of the local culture while also having an awesome place I'm sure when this whole area is in the High season when this place is open as you can see down there I would guess they've got a fire pit down there a little beer pong something like that because there's some reminiscence of the last party there quite a few chongs sitting in that box so not a bad place to be relaxing and let's go ahead and show you this place from the sky and look at this we got a little kitty right here hey little guy oh he doesn't want to play but yeah right down here is where we are staying so we've got these beautiful views and if you look out into the distance here this is what we get to wake up to it is that time of the year when they're burning some of the fields so that's why you'll see some of the smoke the haziness but it is amazing being out here in nature in Northern Thailand but this is what it looks like inside of the room we got my bell chilling on the phone and we've got the canopy bed over there mosquito nut and even some AC in here so not too B A and yeah nice little toilet in here bamboo surround for the shower if you can see inside side of there and that's our little spot here so a pretty awesome spot as you can see we have just teleported to inside of the truck we are departing Our Guest House at the moment goodbye little one bye bye so we are going about 10 minutes away actually where we're going right now is the place that uh my Dad's friend dud originally booked for us but we ended up here because of the double booking so we're actually still going to be having dinner over there because this place isn't normally open right now it's only open a couple months per year and so as you can see it's a cool little guest house but uh yeah we're doing the local tiway we're riding in the back of the truck since it's only a 10-minute drive along the Country Roads wanted to see what it was like as a local hopping in the back Full Speed Ahead all right look at this right at Sunset we are heading in this my friends is Thailand for you up in the mountains right along the border truly just such a beautiful place and wow I am impressed we're going to be doing a lot in this video so make sure you stick around because these Adventures are going to be wild especially cuz we've got my dad in there somewhere up front chillaxing how we doing hello tyland s yeah so I just realized I don't even know what city we're cruising through right now somewhere up in the mountains somewhere cool and like far from all the touristy places cuz yeah so far cruising through here and since we arrived I haven't seen a single other tourist so this is pretty awesome s down boy sit down boy Sit Boy [Music] all right and we have made it so these were the uh guest houses I guess we would have stayed at these were the original ones you had in mind this is what I wanted you to St oh man great taste great taste and it's beautiful inside it's all stone work and a pathway into the toilet plants little pebs and the shower it's pretty beautiful well maybe it's good we're not staying because we'd never want to leave let's test it up oh and all right we get up here the standard room we've got standard rooms up here too so yeah there's some pretty awesome uh Guest House experiences you can have here in the northern part of Thailand yeah these are cool too you got the uh spots right there up on the second floor as well and look at this oh here you can see so far into the distance SA C swaty cop and we got a nice little little guy there hey little guy oh yes little DL good to see you hello [Music] there hello little kitty says what's up looks like a little Tommy mhm little tummy so we have arrived what do we got going on a little gift after an incredible drone flight we got a little mango smoothie waiting for us Bango oh yeah let's try this thing out oh yeah subai subai the DB man's losing it cuz he speaks Tai all right all right that's looking D to the Lish omelet yeah omelette for her with uh pork it's mixed in yeah yes okay perfect perfect inside the omelet uh two of those please omelets yes please oh not spicy yeah no spicy no spicy and omelet over iice or separate oh separate it's separate is the big one but over is the only one egg oh two eggs then two eggs yes please is this one with egg yes this one is egg unity and this one is meat yes it's meat like a it's and this one is this one is like a poip with uh it's is po Berry ripped and lemon grassp this mushroom this one we got mushrooms can is it possible to make it without mushrooms oh yes okay perfect that'll be great there go perfect all right copcn cup some pretty good tie right there e you got it I know right hey let's hear what you can say I can't yeah he can say sa maybe well watch this Kun up oh she actually said that right I said you're I said you're beautiful and she said thank you very much oh really his friend oh I didn't know what I was saying well done well done all right we'll see you when it's time for some Chow now oh yeah and look at that The Omelette has arrived how's it tasting delicious hitting the spot look at this we've got a little minced pork mixed right in there from the locals let's go ahead and try that out did you guys coming from Milwaukee Chicago chicag light white yeah Airplane White yeah so this omelet it almost has like a layer of crispiness like it's been fried and that adds a nice flavor to it and it's not spicy here that's the one thing most of the foods you're going to have in Thailand are usually going to be spicy so a pretty common thing here with you know In tha you're always going to get rice with things most of the time you're going to get eggs as I already mentioned some spices and um noodles soups all these types of things so it is delish though oh it is time right here cup [ __ ] cup look at that a nice little chicken soup on top of it except that M I might have the bite of oh that is fantastic that's that spiciness is next level this is what we come to Thailand for I'm in the background is to get the stuff that we're going to pay eating the onion tomorrow for ain't that right oh God he said he came to Thailand for me with him so what all do we have in here we've got a little chicken we've got some onions spinach yeah and plenty of peppers you're eyeing this thing out theread you want to give it a shot no no no man oh man he's trying to I've got to I've got to watch my figure no one else will you know we don't want to send you back to Wisconsin and have you telling everybody that we didn't feed you I know right youve heard that one before wasting away to nothing no we've been eating like kings here they have been hooking us up like a [Music] brother wow my mouth is on fire than you than but it's doubl down because the soup is actually it's spicy but it's also like super hot right now so when you double down burn in your mouth mix in with a little spice yeah be careful though well almost made it through two Entre but uh that spice I'm going to have to pay for tomorrow but food here was quite delish but it was the views that really pulled us in so that's all for today we will see you in the AM I'm not in any typical tourist spot that most people go to like Bangkok or the islands where I'm at is actually on the land border Highland right here and Lao just a few 100 m away that is the country of Lao right along here and this is Thailand let me show you something ain't nobody here but those chicken but so we have just arrived to a very exotic place and your probably wondering why would you come up to the Border well if you look here we are at the Golden Triangle if we zoom out a little bit you're going to see why it's called the triangle keep going and boom Myanmar Burma LA and Thailand we are just meters away from the Golden Triangle now right when you walk up to here you have an incredible welcoming with these vast best golden colors elephants which here they're known as Chong I believe an elephant in Thai and you can actually climb up to the top and take a photo there wao rock and roll the Queens the Queens well I think it would only make sense for me to do a little hike on up and see what it looks like from above all right we got a staircase leading between the elephants and this gets us up to ah at the top hello hello not a bad spot to hang out and relax if you if I can say so myself looking g o mhm I'd say that's a pretty cool little tourist attraction free to walk up grab a photo and from here we can see La much much closer now I didn't show this before but La has a ton of development on their side when when I first started this video we were way way down there and I actually thought this was on the Thailand side but actually no we've got the huge area we're going to check out here the huge Buddha right there oh the coconut addicts have gotten themselves a coconut yum yum thinking about getting one too what are they charging for a coconut these days 40 big ones all right I'll have one all right let's hook a brother up one more please all right two more two more coconuts got you guys we we've got the coconut addicts here coconut all right crop [ __ ] cop cop Co cop Coco cococ Coco Coco coconut I want to be your coconut that dripping Elish all right and that is number that is oh nice and cl all right copor cup all right so here we are coming up to the Golden Triangle right here and the reason being if we come a little closer you can see obviously we are walking on Thailand soil right here across the road right there is Lao and Myanmar if you look straight this way I believe maybe where those red roofs are if the River cuts through here Myanmar would be on the other side and so it all meets right at this point pretty wild to be this close to two completely different civilizations although there's going to be what do you think of this place beautiful I am I'm pretty shocked I don't know you've never been uh you've never been at a corner where you can see three countries at once have you no think that's my first time so it's really cool to see and if there's one thing in Thailand that stuck out to you most uh so far we have a lot left to explore is there anything I think just the life style here is really cool once you adapt to it and you know you take the scooter and you cruise around and just such a different lifestyle from what we're used to you know driving fast and cars and you know this fast lifestyle this work you have to go to work you have to sleep work repeat yeah eat sleep work repeat and here you're just more like relaxed you're you're living every day as if it's your last you know what I mean oh I like that well said well said exactly here it really pushes you to experience life relax have fun and find many reasons to enjoy to enjoy one I've never seen that opium written with bushes that's one of a kind do that in this is unlike any other Temple I've ever seen in the world look at this thing 50% of the bench is given up to this guy looks a little scary must be hot in the sun right now wow and what do we have going on here whiskey in front and a bit of a Halloween feel when you're walking up Alien versus Predator right there so we're entering the wa Ron [ __ ] and it's 100 bot which is about $2.80 and we got to come right through here cupon crop oh looks like we're only going through one and look at this right when you walk in and it's informally known as the white temple I think for quite obvious reasons but just imagine how long it would take to make something so intricate we're going to walk through there and get a little bit closer here look at this right in front we've got some koi here swimming around and amazing Landscaping perfected Landscaping to Accent this Temple all right we're making our way over to the uh front entrance looks like we got a bit of a moat going around here as well with a dragon spewing out water so this is really an exotic Place fish filled up the koi fish filled up in all of these they got blue ones yeah a lot of koi huh yeah well they look really good with these I don't mean to be but they cuz you're looking at life in HD right now with those and look at this there's hands when you get close skulls wow I didn't actually realize what this was representing until we got much closer kind of like these monster likee fixtures with spikes on them pretty scary look hands all coming out of here too I don't know look at this we're walking straight in to the temple what a wild [Music] place and we're coming up to the entrance right here well you look at this and I think it's all cement with almost like small little pieces of glass or mirrors very intricate detail and they even have the crowns up on here just truly a place that is incomparable to anywhere else and this must be a special entrance cuz the door is all gold here all right and the pathway continues I would say this is easily the most exotic Temple what do you think yeah very I love the designs yeah really exotic here and it just continues all the way down here a few more looks like levels of the Temple all the way over here but these temples don't have the shiny component on the other side what a quaint little area pretty amazing huh this is amazing never seen anything like it nothing like it yeah absolutely nothing like it exactly not not any other place even in Thailand I could compare it to oh and I didn't even notice we've got like some hanging what is that Keys up there ah yes this is the top ho all the way so it's essentially looks like keys but when you're a little closer it's just like almost twice the thickness of a of like aluminum foil and it's the shade for all there too oh and all the way down there over there that's made out the same wow yeah all the way down there and then even look at this tree right there everything about this place is just decorated in an unrelatable way as we walk through here we're seeing the other View and over here we've got the cave of art so I have a feeling we're going to find a pretty interesting setup over here now this as you can tell is probably man-made as we look over here we've got waterfalls coming through yeah this is truly a work of art to blend art with nature ah you can feel a nice little Mist too coming off oh looks like we got to toss some money right there don't we that's a good sign we made all three of our wishes on one hopefully that comes true look at there are faces with money filled mixed into the rocks as well that is wild anybody who's tripping would be having a pretty intense time right now as you can see we've we're in front of a golden house right here which is truly a oneof a kind perfected Landscaping here where these are almost like a flat surface with these bushes leading up with some golden areas in here and the whole house is customized in ways I have never seen before it's always cool to come to a place that it's like the first to ever experience especially cuz I've been to Thailand a couple times before and had never seen anything this impressive and so that's where we're going to wrap up today's video I really hope you guys have enjoyed coming with us to explore the Northwestern side of Thailand this area is truly a paradise and I could have easily spent a couple weeks just exploring so much deeper into this massive area I will mention that this trip that we did is not necess necessarily mapped out in the fastest and most efficient way to get from each location that we showed in this video so make sure if you're going to be visiting all of these places and more you map them out to do them in the most efficient possible order so yeah guys
