I’ve just waved to the Americans over in America! Giving them a wave. Haha. Kathy: Cant here a word your saying Kathy: It’s all crackle.
Okay. Lets get this plug in guys. I think its time to move on with the tour guys. I think that’s the road over there guys so . . . That’s the back road. Okay – this section recording 5, 4 ,3, 2, 1 Right. So it's not the road over there.
That’s the car park. It’s down here guys. There we go.
Okay folks. So just to put you in the picture. This is take three! Yeah. A few weeks ago it failed to record from this point. Um, it just done it again today. I’ve come back. And re-film this.
This is the back road from the West coast of Walney Walney Island. This is the back road which is taking you back through a small village called Biggar. Small village called Biggar – yeah good one. I don't think it's so small these days - any how. So were heading for the east coast of Walney.
That will take us down onto the Promenade road, which we saw earlier on. We’ll go across the bridge, that’s the Jubilee Bridge And then into the industrial complex, area. To get down to the coast. Now just here – there’s Biggar - yeah.
Thorney Nook Lane And Queens Arms. Last time I came here they were shut! There open now! But I’ve just had my dinner so I don’t need anything. Anyhow Watch out for horses and people! (Road Sign) So, It takes us across the Jubilee bridge And at the end of the bridge I’m going to turn sharp right.
That takes us down into the industrial area. And we’ll take a look at the docks just quickly. Urm. I don’t know how far we can go in Because this is all . . . pretty military
It’s a military area this. For the warships. The UK Royal Navy warships and submarines Hopefully we’ll see a submarine or two in the pens. But there are a lot of dockyards down here Where all the ships come in and get refitted or whatever there doing to them.
New weapons. So nice island. Unspoiled. there's no hotels or anything here – thankfully.
So, Yep, Lovely flowers . . . everywhere. Not so much here maybe there were earlier on. but um anyway There’s some white ones guys. Vickerstown This film is about Walney Island, um Do I take you further on from there, or. I’m just wondering if I should close the film down when we go towards the bridge or over the bridge. And then from there - carry on next week.
Because the best piece of coastline we’ll see, is in this last piece of film. Um. Sorry I’m saying last piece of film! We’ve got ur, a very special museum to go to.
Ocean Road So this film today is Walney Island. Next week we’ll be taking a look at a fantastic piece of coastline. Heading for Ulverston At Ulverston, The Ulverston film, will be the third film So coastline comes next week, I’ll cut off as we get into Ulverston - probably. And then the following week after that we’ll get into a very special duo comedian act, without giving too much away! Um, So. What you’ll see there is really a lot of fun. It’s one guys, I don’t know what you would call it? Um. Insatiable ur. I’ll say no more!
But it was his hobby. He built up a lot of artefacts and a lot of screen pieces and one thing and another and low and behold he ends up with this large museum full of all the stuff he had collected. Okay. This is Jubilee bridge! So I may call it a day here.
I’ll see how much time we’ve spent on Walney. I don’t want the video to be too long. You can see all the Docks over here And there over here A lot of work going on non stop. I want to turn right So I’ll get into the right hand side lane. You see there? Waterfront Business Park & Docks Got a nice blue sky, a little bit of cloud.
But it’s been a lovely day. It’s cool. Um. This year has been very cold. Bridge Road.
I'm hoping that well see some submarines in the pens. There may be some submarines in the pens. I don't know. Shipyard No. 6 over on my left. There’s another bridge we go over and it’s as we go over We might spot the subs. Ship yard 7 Right. Business Park and Docks
Okay lets take a look at the Docks It’s a Saturday so I would think most people aren’t working today He’s going down there as well. You can see they have parking for all the staff here. Haha Where are we going here now? Am I heading in the right direction? Yes. But it’s saying BAE staff only! Um. I’ll, Yep. When I go to these places,
often you get stopped. And you get asked a lot of questions And I can’t be bothered today. Um. Business centre, so maybe we are okay so far. remember what I said earlier.
This is a military area for the Royal Navy It’s not the only location of course, for the RN. Haha. Resolutions building. Docks. Okay. No Drone Zone. Oh yeah. We’ve got the security here Okay – I can’t go down there guys! Right. It's not a genreal public area guys.
So we'll have to turn back. Deep Water Berth - yeah Okay Right. We had a look. I'll probably get the registration number on camera now! We'll see. I dont know where half of these roads go.
I have'nt been down . . Big Anchore! That looks like for gas storage. A lot of nice yachts out there guys. Building’s getting refurbished. Nice patterns on the walls here.
You Tube doesn’t like us, I think a few of us have said this! We’ve had “get together” And we’re all talking about it. We’ve all been shadow banned It’s a lot of effort doing this We enjoy it, We’d like to think we would get some pay for it. At some point, off the advert revenue. I personally would never ask you to donate any money Michaelson Bridge I’m saying I don’t do this for money, I never have um.
But Ad revenue would help, With the fuel bills, the new tyres, Servicing for the gear, you know. Okay guys we’ve come over the bridge (Looking for Ulverston sign.) Don't forget to Follow us – Join us And comment to us For the next exciting episode of this journey along the Cumbrian Coast line.
So thanks for subscribing, liking, etc. So bye for now guys. Shout out next
