Trakin Tech All New Studio Tour 3.0 2024
It's going to be something special & something that you guys have been demanding for the past 2-3 months. But it didn't happen & finally it has arrived. This video is about our studio tour. But more than the studio tour, we're going to show you a lot of other things which will surprise you. Let me tell you that this button is our first button.
I'm going to show you a lot of our collections too. But do you know where this journey started? In 2016-17, Pratik was with me first. If you've been following us for a long time, then you know who Pratik Thakur is.
He sits next to me & is doing a lot of new things. We're going to talk about him too. It's been 7 years now, Pratik.
No, it's been 8 years since October. Oh my God! It's been 8 years & 3 studios. Yes, first we were at Sadashiv Beg. It was a small 10x10 studio with a green screen in the back. We didn't know how to do it. After that we shifted to this corner & then this is the third.
Now there's no space here too. This is also full. There's going to be another studio in 1-2 years & we'll do a studio tour of that too. But it's been a year since we came here & our studio tour is still going on.
But yes, finally we're there. It's going to be fun & we're going to show you. But pan this side. This is the track & tech team. But Pratik is doing some big things & we focus on track & tech.
And the track & tech team has increased. A lot of people ask us what 60-70 people do in track & tech. Let's meet the team quickly. First of all, this is our content team. I think this is a partial content team.
There are a lot of other people too. All these people are Diggajs. He's not a Diggaj, he's a timepasser. He's Arnav, he handles a lot of Tamil content & research.
He's Shrikant, if you've seen our Marathi channel. Shrikant comes up with a lot of ideas & he does phone research. Shrikant, how long have you been here? 18 months. Who's the senior among you? I'm the senior for 2 months. Tell me, what did you feel in 15 months? Working in Armox Media House, working on Marathi track & tech. What do you think? My story is different, you know how I came here.
Do you know how he came here? He saw the photo samples we put in the video. He was like, I'm from Pune & this is here. He was searching for 4-5 days & then he came for the interview. And this is how he came here.

Journey, yes. I guess it was 10-12 million. Then I shifted here for 7-8 months & now it's been a year. It was one of the best life experiences for me. Considering being 21 years of age & I got an opportunity in such a big production house. That is why it was one of the better experiences for me.

Best team member in no talent category. Alright. How long has it been? 1 year? Yes, it's been more than a year. What do you do here? I have a question till date.
What does Arnav do? Sir, I write Tamil content & I do some good work. Alright, we'll ask Airshad. Airshad will tell us how well he works. So this is the content team & this is the social media team. There are more people in the social media team.
But the biggest team here is of Arjun. How many people know Arjun? I'm going to introduce him too. But this team is for Tamil & English content. And there are such people too. I want to introduce you to someone. This is Anish.
How do you do Tamil videos? How do you do Tamil videos? You don't know Tamil. How do you do that? Talent. Alright, talent. So basically he has a lot of talent & he didn't know Tamil.
But now he has learnt Tamil. Seriously, Arnav teaches him a lot. Does Arnav help you? Sometimes. So this is the English & Tamil team.

This is the finance place where everything happens. And generally, madam doesn't like to be on camera. But there she is. Let's go to the studio. But before that, I want to tell you some things.
That you don't know about us. We're not just TrakinTech. We have a total of 16 channels. And some of them are bigger than TrakinTech.
When I say we have 100 people. Out of that, only 50-55 people are from TrakinTech. But the rest of the team is from other channels. All these channels have buttons.
In fact, I think it's only 50%. It's more than that. There are 2-3 in Pratik's room & in my cabin.
So all the channels' teams sit here. In fact, this is just 1 office. We have 3 more offices where the rest of the people sit. Entertainment, Shorts Break, Take A Break. But this is where the big shots sit. Our office isn't that glamorous.
It's a functional office. But the work goes on well. And the biggest example of that is in Diggaj's room. Especially, Sajid's desk. Everyone knows Sajid.
He's in videos. The content you see, he's the content master. And he's also a car master. These are all small cars. And you'll see at least 5-8 phones here.
And then I don't have to introduce Airshad. Airshad is also here. He's a...
I don't have to introduce him. You've seen him. So he sits here. And these two decide what you're going to see. Yes, that is what happens.
Total research on phones happens right here. How many people know Pillars? There are 3 Pillars sitting here. One is Nikhil. I want to name him also. Because Nikhil has a big contribution in videography.
And then obviously he had to go somewhere. But Sajid, what do you think? I mean, you've been here since 2018? 5-6 years? What do you think? 6 years? I don't know when it's been 6 years. Absolutely. We do this 24x7 day and night.
And Sajid is that kind of a person. I mean, I didn't know it's been 6 years. It's been 7 years. I was asking Arshad, he's completing 3 years. Arshad, I want to ask you.
You've come from much bigger publications and all that. What is the difference? It's been 3 years. What do you think? How do you like Pune? Because you shifted from Noida to Gurgaon. How do you like it? Pune is growing on me. It's a great city. And I'm having a lot of fun here.
And what about Trakin Tech and Armworks? Like, you know, a fundamental misconception of a lot of people is that if they work on a YouTube channel, will they be professional? So, Armworks breaks that. Not just Trakin Tech, but the entire ecosystem. Because it's very important to know. Because a lot of people who apply for jobs for us, they have to ask their parents if they can join a YouTube channel.

Whose biggest team is the one we used to see on video editors, is managed by Arjun. He is one of the pillars. Arjun, how old are you? Are you 6 years old now? Or you will be 6 years old soon? Everyone works for 16 hours. That too 24 by 7, 12 months in a year. That's how it works.
But how do you keep the morale up? Your team is so big, how do you keep the morale up? How do they work? I mean, aren't they burnt out? No, actually, everyone likes to work. Everyone is passionate about their work. They are busy. Yes, they enjoy working.
By the way, I asked inside that 13-14 videos a day are regularly edited. How much data is there every day? I am going to tell you. We'll go to the studio, it's been a long time. But tell me quickly, how much data do you crunch every day? I guess, 700-800 GB. Every day? Yes, every day. Every day, 700-800 GB.
Oh my God! Prateek, did you think that when we started, we didn't know which camera we had? We didn't know which microphone we had. We didn't know anything. And today, we are crunching data above 700 GB.
I mean, that is... Did you think about this 6 years ago when we started? But now, I feel something has come in life. Yes, good one. Seriously.
And I think our DNA, we have to keep improving. Why did we do 3 studios? You'll see now, let's go to the studio. But why did we do it? Because we want to improve. Our next video should be better than the previous one.
That is one thing. Whether it is content, presentation, editing, everything. We are still trying to do that. What was 5 years ago, is still there. But the most important & smallest department is HR. Shalini & Mansi are here.

The next floor is our studio. This is the first studio. You'll see a lot of lights, cameras & devices everywhere. Here, there are mostly B-rolls & technical shoots.
But it's not that there's only that much. It essentially has different things & backgrounds. This studio also has 4 different backgrounds. You can see the blue background here. You can see it here.
And I can do the tech news here. This background, that background. So there are at least 16-18 different backgrounds & angles from where we shoot. But here, Nishant does the tech news.
Basically, it's the content team. But it helps the videography team more. That's why we said it's the videography team. It's mixed in them.
So this is the first studio. This is about 12x14-15. It's such a big studio. But the 2nd big studio where we do the unboxing. Alright, this is the biggest studio where you do the unboxing. For example, what I'm talking about now.
This is where we do the unboxing. But again, this is not the background. There are different backgrounds at different places. Which we use.
You can see the lights here. The lights are here. This is also started. You might think the lights are coming from the windows. But we're actually using these lights. So in this setup, if you see in the unboxing.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. We're using 6 lights in total. And you see this. You don't realise it when you watch the final videos. But a lot of effort goes into it.
In fact, if I talk about effort. So whenever I do the unboxing. I come here 1 hour before that. I discuss with the content team about every aspect of the phone. And then we present it to you. I don't have any script in front of me.
I actually prepare myself in my head about the phone. And then I do the video. But you know friends, this process takes a lot of time. It takes a lot of time. It's just not about content or what I'm presenting.
Before that, when the phone comes, the research team runs all the tests. After that, it comes to Sajid. Sajid then makes his own analysis. We discuss.
Then it comes to me. I make my analysis. I discuss. Then I prepare myself and then we make the video. But that is only half the work. And then this happens.
Again, there are different angles here. 1, 2, 3. So in every video, there are 3 or 4 angles. In fact, there are 4 here because it's top down.
When I'm unboxing, the camera above is used. So there are a lot of things like this. Once the shoot is done, at least 300-400 GB of data is ready. That is copied. I'll show you that too.
But before that, another studio. There is one more big news. But before showing the third studio, I'll tell you an important thing. Come.
This is our schedule. Every morning, our workspace where we discuss and collaborate. It goes there. Like 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. 10 total videos are going to be shot today. And this is regular.
In fact, this is normal. Sometimes 16-20 videos are shot in a day. Sometimes 10 long form videos are shot in a day.
Parallelly, that's why there are 3 studios. You've seen 2 studios. This is the third studio.
Tell you one thing, the content team & videography team coordinate very closely. That these are the embargoes, this video should be shot. It's going at this time. So there's a lot of scheduling & planning too. And you're sitting here.
Today is a podcast shoot. If you've seen it in the schedule, then it's a podcast shoot. So maybe we'll do an audio test. After this video, our Hindi podcast is going to be shot. So generally, this is the setup.
Again friends, I'll tell you that this setup always changes. Today you have this background, tomorrow you'll get that background, day after tomorrow you'll get that. Sometimes we do it outdoors, sometimes on the terrace. Why do we do all these things? So that you feel different. You know, you should find our videos enjoying & engaging enough. I'm going to ask you a question.
You guys are here & shoot everyday. How many videos do you shoot in a day? 2 long form, 2 short form, 4 videos. I shoot 4 videos, I have at least 4-5 videos every day. Tell me one thing, do you know how many lights we use in our office? Can you give me a rough number? Lights? Including all the panel lights & everything? Yes, all the lights. Studio lights? 30-40? We have around 60, total. Are you talking about the upper studio? Yes, yes.
I was talking about this area. This has 30, 50-60 lights, because everything is on lights. Sajid, I have a question for you. How many lenses do we have? Oh! She must be crazy.

We have 20-21 total lenses of different focal lengths. And at least 8-10 cameras, Aditya? 8-9 cameras. We generally use Sony's mirrorless cameras. So here you can see 4-5 cameras. And understand, Airshad is shooting in English & I'm shooting in Hindi.
And it always happens that a phone calls a day before. Researching, then shooting a video, then editing, then live. It's crazy. That's what we do. All the time. Once all this is shot, there's B-Rolls, tech news, podcasts.
After that, there's a room for videographers to rest. Where all the data is transferred. Look at this.
Data transfer is going on here. So, you can see the cards here. And then data transfer happens. There's always a complaint of Aditya, Abhishek & Millenium.
Sir, there's no space. Do something about the space. You're producing 600-700 GB in a room. How will there be space? We keep bringing new cards, new hard disks. You can see, there's a new setup of 100 TB.
And I'm going to tell you about it in a separate video. But yes, this is basically videographer's den. These are all phones. If you see, there are chargers, phones, etc. Oh my God! Phones are everywhere. Let me see, I don't know either.
There are some such things kept here. And then, this is our testing area. These are all lights. This is the charging bay. What's inside it? These are all photography equipment. There are 8-10 GoPros.

We had shifted it. Earlier we used to shoot on One BHK. But we have built the exact same replica here.
This is Ravi. He heads our entertainment channel. And on short break, we have reached 42 million.
42 million. In our long form tab where we do web series, we have reached 3-4 million. So he manages. And this is one part of it. The entertainment studio is still being built.

We do songs of that. And we're going to do some other interesting things. What are we going to do? I know, but can we tell the viewers? We'll give a surprise to the viewers.
