Benito is significant foreign foreign [Music] yes uh there is a serious problem for the supply shortage of some key components and every key manufacturers are suffering from this problem but we have the very close relationship with suppliers so I think we have a least amount of program compared to the other manufacturers we try our best to deliver our products in time and also our strengths I mean strengths for Sigma is that we make only our product only in Japan and our supply chain is quite small compared to other companies the major companies they have a huge supply chain Network all over the world but we have the only one Factory in north of Japan and our suppliers are surrounded uh they're very close to our Factory so we have a very close communication with suppliers so we can working very closely with the buyers so compared to other brands Sigma is very fortunate to have a less a serious problem Sigma and commentary difference is uh I don't know in detail what other companies are doing but basically each company a tackling on this problem individually separately because we are independent companies and we don't know or work on that kind of issues jointly so actually in other words uh the many companies use the same parts or simply components in different products so sometimes maybe behind the scene we may be fighting each other tools you know guess the more product parts or components from others in accordance uh mainly there are three solutions that we are working on the first uh we place uh orders uh for parts and components much in advance and it's a farm order so so that the Fabrics can be a satisfied and confident about our owner and then we can secure our order and second we will build even better relationship with suppliers we've been doing for many many years but the relationship with suppliers are very important the mutual trust is very important in such a very chaotic situation the third solution is that we change the design for some components if the some components or parts are very hard to get we will change design to use the different parts or components especially this is important for Semiconductor parts so we already changed the design of the existing products to continue the production and The Delivery Solutions to be honest I don't know but they say this situation may continue for a while especially for Semiconductor or electronic parts because the these are the significant impact from the automobile industry they need more parts their electronic parts or semiconductor parts for the new cars more Auto controls or more Electronics electricities in the car and also they are now piling up the parts to make to do the more stable production so they are now uh they they need more Electronics the semiconductor paths so they I think it this situation may continue worldwide but the ones they a pirate piles up fire up the enough components I think this situation will be improved yeah um well uh first of all uh we believe the sigma's mission is to deliver the product to all possible potential customers as possible so uh and also I'm very aware there's a demand from the Canon mirrors camera users to sim I'm very aware of and I'm very happy about it and I really appreciate such a interest from customers uh uh right now uh I can't tell about uh the future product planning but I would like to uh do my personal best to deliver such products in the future is well um sorry but I can't comment on it but uh what I can tell you today is that the sigma is very interested and very happy to to satisfy the Kiana mirrors camera users demand Allah [Music] currently the most popular product from Sigma is of course mirrorless lenses the lenses for mirrors cameras especially our 24 to 70 2.8 and uh 14 to 20 for 2.8 these uh the large aperture Zoom lanes are very popular also 35 millimeter F 1.4 dgdn for mirrors is also very uh popular so basically uh 150 to 600 DG DN Sports these lenses for mirrors are the very popular and the leading of our business but also some special lenses for dsrs are still very popular like 150 to 600 the HSM from dsrs are very popular and also one of five Macro for this route are still very popular so I think the current DSL camera users are still very happy with the camera body and you know adding their lenses additionally for their photographic styles camera yes uh we are still working on the development of the new sensor new program sensor or x33 layer sensor there are three stages for our development the first stage is to prove the new technology that we are going to implement in the new sensor works or not and we have done this first stage and we proved that this new technology works okay uh the second stage is to make a physical chip physical sensor with the the new structure pixel and to see if it works or not and we are now in the middle of the second stage and the the our supplier are now making the sensor for us because it's a semiconductor we cannot make the sensor buy or sell so we are working with our supplier once our supplier uh makes make the new chip we will test it and if it's it works okay we will go to the third stage which has exactly the same size as a full frame with many peripheral uh components the first stage is a first real prototype of sensor so uh if my plan is to outline is to complete the second stage sometime in toward the end of this year or the beginning of next year the the second stage we will start planning about the camera body so I can't tell you when we can start the the start shipping the camera body okay foreign [Music] um it's true that it's uh the developing a new sensor especially the such a unique sensor technology uh sensor with a unique technology it's very challenging and uh it's very challenging not only technically but also uh economically it costs a lot to develop the sensor and also it costs a lot to manufacturers such as sensor but uh uh I believe we need to continue pursue this way continuously mainly for three reasons first uh uh there is a royal customers who love phobia sensor or the picture quality that polio sensor could provide me personally also have been using the forbium sensor cameras many years and most of the the pictures maybe over 95 percent of family photo I took were taken with the fobium sensor camera so I also personally have a passion on this sensor if the light is you know enough to capture the subject problem since there is no other sensor that beat the previous so in order to satisfy the lawyer customers demand I think we need to pursue the technological uh the possibility second reason is that it's in order to be the you know uh for Sigma to survive in this industry we need to be camera manufacturer we believe not only the lens manufacturer but also cameraman Hotel so we need to invest in the new technology in some way it could be problem sensor or in different you know type of sensor but uh investment to the new technology is important so right now we invest probably on sensor but this is to survive in this industry and in order to become a real camera manufacturer a third reason is that the fobium sensor is a great technology to differentiate from others uh uh we don't want to be a me too brand that the brand that makes the only metoo products so depreciation is very important so it's very challenging but we need to invest in this technology to differentiate from Big prayers so strategically this technology is very important for us FFM [Music] well uh there is some misunderstanding about the pier FP a camera uh we have no intention to make a video camera or sneak camera for FP uh this is a hybrid camera with A New Concept uh it can work as a steel camera and also video camera uh actually the initial concept created by Me was a steel camera I really wanted to make have a very small camera which we can I can put but the small camera but the high quality image which where we can put the camera all time in my bag like in Barcelona or Tokyo or New York Paris London in the big city you don't you can't carry the huge equipment but in such a beautiful city like this in Barcelona still I want to take a high quality picture so my initial idea is to make a very compact uh the high quality full-frame sensor camera but uh while I'm thinking uh we came up I came up with with the idea that with the using the same technology we can Implement a very high quality video which is also usable for the cine so that's why we came up and also the many these days many people use still on the video together like iPhone there is no you know the big war between the steel and the video so I we proposed such a New Concept camera to the potential customer so I really do not want customers regard our FP as a video camera it's a new it's like a the smartphone camera with a much bigger sensor it's much more be higher image quality that's our concept which fit in it fits to the you know modern photographers uh styles the for future uh I can't tell our products Road Mark today but it's really depends on the technology uh uh for example if we use the current technology and go to the higher performance like 8K the summer of management is becoming a problem in the heat from the the sensor or components so it's quite challenging to implement 8K in such a small form factor camera because just because of the Heat although FP camera has a heatsink but it may not be enough so it really depends on the the technology that we will develop in the future or technology available at that time depending on the technology we will offer the best possible camera to the customers in the future [Music] um uh we have no plan to make a SmartPhone by ourselves there are several reasons but uh first of all uh our mission is to provide the best gear to the professional photographers or cinematographers or photo video enthusiasts the serious photographers photo enthusiasts so uh but having said that it doesn't mean that I I'm not interested in food smartphone uh I never looked down on such a gear the new innovation always comes from such a consumer device and what they are doing in smartphone is really great and I'm very much interested in it but as a company we don't go for that because uh it's a first of all it's two huge industry so it's there is a little chance for us to be successful over there and even if we find some technology or some niche market that we can survive but it's to uh risky business as a company owner Sigma is a still family-owned company as a company owner we I like to pursue the more stable business than go taking the risk taking the huge risk to for the employees to be exposed to the huge risk first my first mission is to protect employees job to make sure everyone is happy and safe for their lives if even if for if we go for a smartphone we may be able to make some decent success maybe first to one year or two years but it can't guarantee that our success in five years or ten years so uh I think it's focusing on what we are good at is a good strategy as a company however uh I'm again as I said I'm very much interested in the technology which is implemented in the current or most recent smartphone especially the uh uh so-called uh computational photography it improves the image quality of the smartphone greatly to be honest I've never shoot a smartphone in the past but today I do it especially the food food when I go to the restaurant I always shoot the food with a phone on the street I mean I take a use a FB but for food here in Barcelona there are many good you know Foods so I always shoot with my smartphone but I think our camera manufacturer uh should not be no you know a snobbish and disregard the technology over there we should learn from them and implement the technology the the similar technology into the camera you know in camera there is a great sensor and a great lens so if only we introduce such a technology into the camera we can make even better image quality so I think that's the future of our industry foreign well uh I don't have a special strategy or super smart idea for the future you know the it's very difficult to predict the future so what we can do best is to adapt ourselves to the the change of the market that's the best thing but besides that uh we will the what I believe my belief is that we should focus on what we have been doing in the past and continue into the future uh either way what we have we what we should do is first of all to make the best quality and the best performing product to customers to make customers very happy if only we can make customer happy I think we can survive the second thing we should do is to make our employees and our business partners very happy because we cannot survive actually myself as a CEO of company I can't survive by myself I need the support from employees I need support from business partners like our distributors or dealers or suppliers we I need support from them so to make everyone uh who are related to Sigma business happy is very important the third thing is to make the the best organization or best create the best teamwork inside our company if Sigma stay as a good organization or a good team we can attract many talented people so they help us to survive in a very difficult you know Market or many difficult future so uh there is no special technique there is no special strategy there is no smart idea for us but we just continue to continuously make the best products and makes all the people related to Sigma happy and make Sigma the best company to work for I think this is the most important thing is foreign [Music] thank you very much uh gracias
