Sherbaz Bhai just told us that all these mills were operational And this water comes running down from Rakaposhi and provides electricity Let's go look at the water pressure The water is extremely cold! We're at Burhani Hotel's launch today, We've been invited for Dinner by Fida Hussain Bhai And they've been making cauldrons of pulao, so let's see it's also time for lunch It will be fun, we were just here now we'll also enjoy Fida Bhai's party Assalam Alaikum, how are you? Asif bhai thank you so much for inviting us Now let me try the Quorma, it's also Yak meat Both the quorma and the pulao taste very authentic! It's 2 pm, let' finish then we'll go towards Altit and Baltit forts. The weather is nice today as well Hopefully it will stay the same. Thank you once again Asif Bhai! Here we can see the Baltit fort, "baltit" means "height" And the Altit fort is below us, now we'll go upwards Sherbaz Bhai you must have no problem climbing this? --No, everyone does! But for us this is impossible --Well you're a karachiite it's huge that you came here even! Well I have to do it but I certainly can feel the climbing... Hello, how are you? where are you from? --China --Oh! Okay! How are you? --Oh!! I'm good, how are you? Oh wow, you know Urdu as well! Very nice! This has been a proper workout but it's worth it! Look at this, how beautiful it is In the Northern Areas i.e. Gilgit-Baltistan we used to have small princely states
Hunza was one of them and the rulers used to build forts for their residence and defence So the rulers of Hunza first built Altit Fort, and then the Baltit Fort Altit fort is almost 900 years old according to the locals and the baltit fort is 800 years old This was the royal residence until 1945 and their new palace can be seen from the fort's roof This is such an amazing historic fort, and the beauty can only be truly experienced by coming here! We have mountains surrounding us and now we have roads but the transportation 800 years ago... ...Would've been very difficult, it's mind boggling! From the Baltit Fort, now we are here at Cafe De Hunza! And the walnut cake here is recommended to us, we're also gonna have some tea We've been out since the morning and it's evening now so let's try Oh wow, we have a shop here as well. We have traditional music instruments here We have shawls here as well, you can bring souvenirs home This is the famous walnut bakery and here we have the walnut cake Along with it we've ordered chicken cheese sandwich and we have a great dine in setup And this is the walnut cake filled with walnuts which is Rs.300/- per slice Very fresh, warm, and the walnuts inside are filled with honey! the cake itself is very soft and delicious Alongside it we have the sandwich, let's try The sandwich is good but the walnut cake is truly extraordinary! The price seems just a little high but it tastes amazing Okay so with this we end this video, I hope you liked this tour If you did, then don't forget to subcribe because next time we'll go to Khunjerab Pass!
