hello everybody this is cody bateman say hi to us this is the tuesday wednesday afternoon webinar today featuring send out cards send out cards this entire promptings movement is powered by send out promptings process is powered by send out cards sent out cards is the mechanism in the middle of the promptings loop and it's what really gets that positive energy going and we have an unlimited way price per month to help you act on your properties every day and so today we're going to talk about that mechanism it's the key to everything the key to everything is the promptings mechanism called send out cards now it's not just sent out cards it sent out cards with the ability to send unlimited prompting cards that's what kind of constitutes the mechanism as we have today the new properties process book is coming out soon it's going to be highlighting that in detail but today is all about sent out cards the mechanism sending positivity to the world in an unlimited way and the ability to act on your promptings to reach out and kindness i have on with me today now make sure you share this thing guys do all your stuff about how they should share it and all that and whatever yeah shares said in the official group go to our send out cards uh fan page and from that page you can share out to your groups and to your own personal page all right excellent okay so you know fresh out of writing copy and books and stuff i've got a very fresh in my mind as to how the whole process works and what we're going to be teaching the world um you know in a huge way here uh coming in the near future the the key is we want to teach people how to act on promptings and it all started with the brother or story of my brother chris i ignored a prompting to say bye to my brother and he died in an accident and when i've got the news i made a promise to him that i would act on my properties because i had a prompting to say bye to my brother before i left and moved away and i ignored that prompting i saw him but i ignored the prompting to go over and and say bye to him and a couple months later he passed away and i never got that chance and so you know i made a promise that i would act on my promptings and i would reach out in kindness to others and i would do all i can to help as many people as i can to do the same um i missed a chance to say bye to my brother i ignored that prompting i wanted to create a way where that would never happen again that i would act on my promptings and the promise i made to my brother after he passed away is i will act on my promptings and i will help others act on their promptings it was a two-fold promise it always was and it's interesting because 20 years of this still to this day one of the key components of this entire movement is acting on promptings by sending these cards and showing others how to act on properties by sending the cards so the the initial promise i made to my brother in the very beginning was twofold i'll act and i'll show others how to act and clear up till today we have a movement where we act and we show others how to act we have a mechanism to help you act on those promptings we have with us today the one and only sawyer bateman chip off the old block sore baby how you doing son he's doing great there he is there he is there we go just that down mute but even even tech guys have technical difficulties so it's all good but i'm doing good sawyer has been part of this journey from the very very beginning when we first started this he was a really young kid um i don't know five six seven years old when we first started and he helped his mother stuff cards and stuff when we first got this prompting mechanism working 20 years ago and ironically here it is 20 years later and sawyer is the head of our i.t department he is he's the chief of the rit department he's earned his stripes over the last 10 12 years in developing that he's worked on the affiliate side of the business building a business and he's worked on the um technology side in developing software and whatnot now he's the head of the department so guess what sawyer today is going to share with us uh some really cool enhancements that we made because here here's the deal part of the products process is you want to take your thought and your feeling and put it into words and pictures so you take a thought and feeling of appreciation you have for somebody and you put it into words and you put it into images or pictures and that's what you put in a card your thoughts and feelings turn into words turn into images push the send button and the card goes out that is the products process that is the mechanism we are working on all kinds of enhancements to make that experience as wonderful as possible sawyer and his team have been working on uh particularly right now the mobile prompt editor so there's a lot of ways that you can use the mechanism today you can do it from your desktop which is probably our best way to send cards just from the desktop you can do it from your phone into the website we call that the mobile prompt editor and you can do it from the app so there's kind of like three ways that you can actually do it sawyer and his team have been working on enhancing the mobile prompt editor part of it he's going to show us some of those enhancements here today it's pretty exciting but while he's showing you i want you to be thinking about this think about the energy that we send out with the mechanism we're taking our thought and the feeling we're putting it into words and pictures and we're pushing the send button now sawyer is going to give you a demonstration and you will feel the energy of that and it's really important as you do that sawyer take it away ready so yeah we're uh we're pretty excited about what we're about to show you here um it's the first time in about three years that i've been excited about using the uh existing card editor i know it's not really a secret we're working on something else that's really cool i'll just keep it at that um but we're we're constantly every day wanting to make this this experience cody's talking about dad that you're talking about even better so let me uh let me do the uh honors of showing what the team has been so hard to work at so i i we just recently got back from a trip uh to disneyland and i wanted to send a card to my family uh letting them know how much i love them how much fun we had on the trip so i was looking through a catalog and i actually found one that my daughter loves hearts that's her favorite shape and this one worked perfect so i'm gonna go ahead and throw in a couple of pictures um here uh of our trip so um go ahead and make this a little bigger so i can scroll and we'll get down here to where we've got some of these fun pictures the buzz ride my son loves that one um so we'll go that that one in there um i'm going to add in let's see get a little bigger again here so we got the buzz ride and then we've got um some fun ones on roller coasters here this is the first roller coaster ride that my daughter got to do so that was a fun fun experience and then i gotta share one with the big boys on the big roller coaster so you know you can see uh you can see cody in there with his sunglasses trying to keep a straight face like he's uh you know the toughest guy in the world but uh that's a fun one and then of course of course every single time we go to disneyland both well it's not really my wife would say it's not both of us it's me we're not allowed to ride rides until i have a turkey leg and she has joined that tradition with me so we got to get that picture in there so there's some there's some fun pictures gotta go mickey right on the background real quick we'll get in here and start typing my message so obviously i just don't know how lucky i am so i'll go ahead and say how lucky can one guy be um and then just let him know disney land is a whole lot better um it's a whole lot better within there that is for sure um it's fun to get emotional when you write these cards but um uh sorry that was weird okay with is a whole lot better with all of you um is it weird if i get him oh yeah am i watching you do this yeah it's kind of weird huh love you all um let's get back soon okay perfect i'm just gonna hurry and do a couple things real quick change my alignment my words are important i'm going to make them a little bit bigger here okay and there's actually a font you guys heard me say i was lucky we actually have a font that's uh called luckiest guy so why not use that one right and then again i'm gonna go mickey red on my text just real quick um and then yeah that's what i want there perfect so now i can kind of see my card my message i actually want to see the whole thing so perfect i can go ahead now and send my card uh as easy as that so i don't know about you guys but that's pretty cool um just with touches of buttons um i'm able to get this card out very very fast now um and uh it's just really exciting it's something we think you guys are going to be very very happy with when you use it so i'm sure that i'm sure that all of you are that are watching or seeing some of the new functionality or probably getting excited about it but what excites me more than any of that i mean that's all cool but what excites me more than any of that is feeling the energy of the card you can't be on this webinar and not feel the positive appreciation energy that of the card that sawyer just created for his family we watched him take his thoughts and his feelings and put them into words and pictures he had saved and quickly and eloquently put all of that together we felt the energy of that and that energy when is when that's felt by people they join this cause always so when you're out showing people how to send a card sawyer just showed you a perfect demonstration the first time you show someone how to send a card is not the time to get into all the technicalities of all the cool little features it'll do it's the time to show them the energy of the card which sawyer just did now he could go back now if he wants and share with you some detail you're all probably chomping at the bent going yeah i saw this this was different that was different like cali what was your thought when you first saw this oh my goodness i love this i think this is going to make sending from the mobile editor so much easier but i also love that sawyer show the power of that heartfelt card right it wasn't just his family his wife is gonna be like have the emotion but we saw it in sawyer and the power of what this does and cody i've always said you know when you when you show someone that first time having them send a card connects it from their head they think they get it until they send it and it connects to their heart yeah no question and one thing you notice that sawyer did this is so important i was saying a meeting earlier that today is that we all need to put this on our desktops to remind us always be telling a story when you show someone else how to send positive energy out with this mechanism tell them a story story told us a story about going to disneyland while he showed us how to send a car and you notice it brought everything to life if your focus is on feature and functionality the the people you're showing to are going to lose the energy you need to tell the story and show the energy of the story later on you can come back and go into features if you want but that's how you show somebody how to act on a prompting you we all felt it no question um now sawyer i know you're probably chomping a bit to kind of get into some of the details and by the way just so you know this is just a stepping stone these guys are working on the the uh the new prompt editor this is still the existing prompt editor but they're they're working on new prompt editor and the feature and functionality on that even goes to a much higher level better level and then they're also working on the phone app as well so just really cool stuff but we want to make sure that you have this stuff in your hands right now so that when you're on a desktop super easy great experience when you're on your phone super easy great experience and from the mobile prompt editor you can always be attached to your people and they're working on getting that to work in the app as well so anyway yeah so if you guys want to i'm sure there's a lot of questions but uh if you want to show some of the features right now while he's getting that let me say this this is not live yet lawyers gonna show you both sides of the current editor in mobile form okay so when somebody clicks a send a free card link that you've sent them they're going to in the future very near future get the experience you just saw uh but now sawyer's gonna show you are you gonna do the doubles experience sawyer or no i guess so i guess you don't sell it you don't have to better hurry and get this isn't live yet but and sawyer right now we're testing this right so it will be live soon though one of the commitments by i.t is to make sure test everything through before we push it out and so that you guys just want to make sure yeah so to reiterate it's done it's built it's just a testing now so you're going to see this functionality really really soon we're not going to tell you an exact time because we want to make sure the testing's right but it's going to be really really really soon so what's cool cody is it just worked like right it just worked so testing is going on right now and i think well never mind i won't say what i was about to yeah so i mean yeah i'll get i'll get them up so i can show you side by side just some of the features but i can kind of walk you through right now i mean the the fun part about it right about what i've tried to bring to the table here for for a very long time and um we finally have a killer team in place that just subscribes to everything we're trying to do here um they ultimately want your guys's experiences to be better and so part of the reason why we went and guys this is mobile web so i go through sendoutcards.com on my phone through
safari or chrome or any of that kind of stuff and there's a reason for that you guys might be saying well what about the native apps why can't i why can't i have this experience from the app store apps and it's coming but it's going to be coming in a much more feature-rich editor um that i will not continue saying anything about because we got to keep the excitement up there but what we what we wanted to do through the mobile web is enhance and you're going to see things through the desktop card editor and this new card editor once this is released where you're going to be like holy cow they're actually thinking of things and helping us through um some of the some of the pain points we have we don't this team does not want to be a team that focuses a hundred percent on the new cool shiny thing this team wants to do the best we can on the new shiny thing while maintaining and enhancing what you guys are dealing with every day um i've always been here just watching the questions so for the affiliates to understand this is as you said this is the mobile website so someone goes to sendoutcards.com you send them a link they're on their phone they don't have the app like they're a prospect they go to sendoutcards.com this is and they say send a free card this is what they're going to experience so this is if you were browsing a website on your phone this is what sawyer's talking about the apps are separate and people have to go to a store and download them that's why this is so important to us as affiliates because if someone clicks on our link and they're on their phone this is what they see when they go send a free card think about the sales page right now we have a photo postcard sales page out there that's talking about unlimited photo postcards and whatnot and there's always those buttons to say go go check it out go send a free card well now typically when you have somebody on and they're going to send their first card they have not downloaded the app this is how you take it there and typically they're probably going to be on their phone so you take them there now we that's why we wanted to spend the time to in to right now improve upon the experience in the mobile prompt editor that's why sawyer is showing you this because when you're taking people through those sales pages they want to try it out now it's much easier for them to try it out from their phone on the mobile prompt editor so that's that's the reason that they put the effort in that while they're building the newer the newest stuff the new prompt editor stuff so yeah go ahead man yeah so um one of my biggest things is context right um it's kind of a funny thing when you get a design card out of the catalog users will kind of come in here and start touching at it and what is going on i can't do anything and we've never really told them why they can't do anything so now you can kind of see some copy down here that explains to the user why is this panel locked well hey these are professionally designed cards that we want to maintain the integrity of the design on and at this time at this time we mentioned a new editor didn't we at this time we are not supporting editing of the front panel so go ahead and navigate to the interior of the card to begin adding your message so that's just one little thing that goes a long way with your prospects and with any everyday user of this um uh this this service and you know what dave i am going to stop sharing this one and bring them up side by side because i think it's uh it's a little bit more powerful so kind of show you guys some of the fun stuff we ran through and dave did a little teaser video of us in the office um doing a design workshop i don't know if anybody watching this was was uh you know paying attention to what was yeah paying attention to what was up on the screen there but this is actually what we were working on so um so yeah pretty fun stuff but i'll kind of show you over here to the uh to the left of the screen this is the existing card editor um if you go there right now on your phone this is what you're gonna see versus once this is launched this is what you're gonna see so immediately right we can tell we saw some things in our design workshop it was like what do i do you know what i mean and i had to know that there was this little icon here in order to click so we decided let's focus everything turn you know turn the contrast up a bit um make it so people have to look at something that's a different color right um and then i don't know about you guys but i noticed the card is massive now on the screen right i love that love love love that so that's yeah that's very that's a very fun piece that we added um and so i'll just kind of navigate through these i mean instantly you can see if you're kind of just looking up at the card i don't even see these tools come down on the current editor right whereas now if i'm looking at the card i know there's something down here so those are just subtleties that we throw in there to really help the user kind of focus their attention on the things we want them to focus their attention on um and so that's why you saw when i created the card i just kind of instantly you know i either hit layouts here i can hit it down at the bottom backgrounds right there um everything's just right in your face and easy to use as well as i can switch to you know a full bleed view and just single panel views and all of my stuff all of these tools update because they're smart and they update uh to display the correct information there so um then one of the funnest parts was kind of this new sheet component that we have i don't know if you guys use a banking app if you use any apps on your phone where you have to enter in information and you know you're in the middle of doing something but they need your information real quick this little thing just kind of slides up on your screen and i'm sure if you didn't notice it you're going to notice it now um but that's just something that we were like why don't we do that with our cards like let's let's make the focus on their message focus on your message don't pay attention to where it's going in the card and all that stuff but if you ever wanted to see it while you're writing it you would just simply swipe down and you can see the text on the card in real time for the shape but we want you to focus on your message in mobile so we made it very easy for you to do that and i can show you side by side again just i i was in that workshop i asked one of our developers i said okay change the font and he literally was scrolling around the screen for probably five minutes and i let him do it um so sorry colton but i did let him do that and uh it was just really interesting right that's kind of the fun part of those workshops is it's i'm not gonna tell anyone how to use it i'm gonna see where they get stuck so it's pretty fun um but you can just kind of see this and i i don't think i need to go into too much more detail i think let's leave some fun up to you guys to go in and play around with this thing and um you know have fun with it uh it probably is going to feel like an entirely new card editor to you guys and the funny part is it's really not we just kind of enhanced the visuals in here and made things easier for you guys to see but that's the fun of our job it's one of what we get to do and hopefully you guys this helps you guys do your business and do it well um and more importantly i hope it helps you guys send heartfelt cards out to change people's lives because that's what we're really doing here and um that's why everybody on my team is here that's why we work as hard as we do i had three guys up till four in the morning last night getting this done that's how much we care about you guys and the success that you you can have getting these words um and the words that everybody you talk to has to get out into the world so we appreciate you all um can't wait if you guys have fun with this sawyer one question i believe you're on an iphone will an android phone look just like this is one of the questions coming in yep it's going to look just like this for for any phone any device that you're on so and even like an ipad or a tablet it's going to look like this too yeah so it's mo it's you know it'll change a bit but um everything's mobilely responsive so um should fit the screen that you're you're working on so it's one of the cool other cool parts is this card kind of sizes based on your screen size now so however big so if you guys want a really big card go get a really big phone and you're going to have a massive card on your screen so just uh fun stuff fun stuff there but the comments coming in are they're so excited they love it good well good we're excited for you guys to use it so i'll uh i'll go ahead and stop sharing though and let's turn it back over to cody and dad sorry and have you uh round this out thank you great work uh sawyer and his team excellent job and again this is just stuff to make sure that your experience right now is as best that it possibly can be and they're they're already working on like i said we we've got a new mobile prompted we've got a new uh mobile we got a new prompt editor that's that's coming out it's being tested right now that that has huge enhancements to it and again the big picture is thoughts feelings put them into words and images and push the send button make that experience as beautiful as possible because going right back to sawyer telling the story about going to disneyland with his family that is what it's about it's great to have tools and features and functionalities and we got this gadget that get that that all helps it all yes but the focus always needs to be on the story itself taking his thoughts and feelings putting it into words and images pictures and pushing the send button sending that positive energy out to the world we're really dialed in to that message and it's really really important especially in the world we live in today so uh cali i know that you're leaving for the bahamas in about four minutes three minutes so any final words from you and then dave you can wrap it up for us okay i think final words are this the i love what the company is doing to make this so much easier for us as affiliates to share right this is huge and i know some of you are like oh i just have them always go to their computer you won't have to let them send their card from where they want to send it to me this new um mobile editor is as easy or easier than the app right let the tools do the work use these tools i know um testing's important and as soon as it gets out of testing you will be told so feel confident sharing your pages wherever someone looks at it sharing our photo postcard program this is amazing tool that will help all of us as affiliates grow our business so you want to use it and i just have to say thank you cody sawyer dave for making this happen for the affiliates yeah thank you callie appreciate it dave kelly that's awesome you said it all now real quick um i'm hearing i'm seeing a little bit of comments is which way do i turn my phone stuff like this if you're talking about the editor we currently you're currently on on the mobile you won't have to do that anymore whether you're doing horizontal vertical doesn't matter it's going to fit your phone now and it's going to work very well um and and one of the things that i wanted to say to all y'all and i kind of mentioned this on monday night uh six or eight weeks ago i kind of spoke up and mentioned my dad was not feeling well and by the way his birthday is on the 14th so tomorrow we're celebrating his 80th birthday he he does live in a rest home and y'all been sending cards to him thank you so much he is feeling better i don't know what happened but but he's no longer dehydrated so maybe the love and the cards made him drink water i'm not sure but whatever you're doing keep it up and uh thank you for using the service the way cody meant it to be used so thank you thanks everybody we appreciate you
