Samsung Q65B vs Q60A (Q60B vs Q60A) Smart TVs 4K QLED ¿Cuál es Mejor?

Show Video

Hello, I hope you are very well. In this video I bring you the comparison between Samsung's 4k smart TVs with QLED technology, on the left the Q65B from 2022 and on the right the Q60A, which is a 2021 model, both come with a VA panel in all sizes available and also with Edge LED backlight technology, that is to say that none of them support Full Array or local dimming, well the Q65B comes with this central base that cannot be modified as such, the height comes as it is while in the case of the Q60A the lateral feet can be modified in terms of height, they can be placed closer to the table, so to speak, or simply change the height in this way if they suddenly want it to be more detached from the table in case they need to place a sound bar under the tv in an easier way these would be your remote controls or One Remotes change the design a bit both can be charged via solar panel or via usb type c port on cu Regarding buttons, the fact that in the Q65B they added the Disney Plus button as a direct access and they also added the direct access for settings in the button that I point to in the upper left corner changes the fact that in my point of view I did not like this in the Q65B because when looking at content if we want, for example, to see what an application offers us and we press the start button, it takes us away from what we are seeing, while in the Q60A we can continue browsing through the start menu and at the same time continue watching the series movie or video game that we are using then if they come from an old Samsung television then it will probably take a little getting used to this new design of the Tizen operating system of these 2022 models but if they are new to Samsung televisions they probably do not care or not seems a bit tedious other aspects that I want to mention is regarding the image modes in the Q65B they eliminated the natural image mode from my point of view was the least used, probably for that reason they removed it but kept the dynamic one the standard the movie and the filmmaker mode or filmmaker mode another aspect that I want to highlight is that in the dynamic image mode in the Q65B it is already possible to modify the gamma parameter while in the Q60A and also in Samsung models from 2021 and from past years for some reason I don't know why it can't and also the Q65B has this parameter known as intelligent calibration I have not used it they must register the product and follow the steps in case they want to use this parameter and the other thing that seems very good to me is that it is now easier to restore the factory values in case they require it also when viewing content through an application because in the Q60A was only possible when they connected something to an hdmi port or accessing the tv icon while in the Q65B and I would think that also in the rest of the Samsung models of this 2 022 is already much easier, as I already mentioned, you can reset the parameters to factory values in each image mode through the YouTube application and other applications, if required by the Tizen operating system of both televisions and the rest of Samsung televisions. from 2022 and previous years allows you to synchronize your remote controls with the cable decoders of some operators, at least here in Colombia, I am not sure if it applies in the rest of the countries, but I would assume that it does, this is very good because only one control is required To be able to access the commands of the decoder and of course the television, you simply have to follow the steps here, then I will make a video about it, although I already have a video on the channel with an old Samsung television where I explain these steps and the link to that video. you can find in the description regarding the multiview function I found some probably positive changes for some people in the Q65B, for example, on the screen on the left, since they placed everything on that single screen and left the right screen only for the smartphone, that is, on the left screen they can see either the YouTube application on the television or something connected to some other hdmi input or the tv icon or a Logitech camera which you can plug into one usb port and into the other as I already mentioned your smartphone screen while on the Q60A as well as the 2021 samsung models on the left screen you can see the YouTube app on the TV or something connected to an hdmi input or the tv icon and on the right screen either your smartphone or a Logitech camera that you can plug into a usb port talking about the voice assistants at least here on Colombia from the factory only supports the Bixby Voice of this tizeni operating system but I know that in other countries from the factory it also supports the Google Assistant and also the Amazon A lexa I have seen videos out there that by changing the region you can access Google Amazon Alexa voice assistants here in Colombia and in other countries then I will try to make a video about it and as for Bixby Voice I found that in the Q65B they added this function in As for synchronizing voice activation with a sound bar, and well, voice assistants are used for basic commands, open applications, close applications, change the channel, increase the volume of the television, turn off the television, what cannot be done is to search for content, for example . through applications such as Netflix Amazon prime among

others while on YouTube it is possible but it is because this application, as you can see, has its own parameter to access this in terms of the fluidity as such of both and both versions of this operating system It seems to me that Tizen is good in both, it is a little faster sometimes when opening applications in the Q65B, although the difference is not very great. Also in the Q65B it is a little faster when the television is turned on after having had it disconnected from the mains for a long time in both it seems to me that it is relatively fast but it is a little faster as I already mentioned in the Q65B although the difference is not It is very large , the Internet browsers are the same as those of this Tizen operating system, simply that to be able to carry out a search through voice commands in Spanish, it is not possible, despite the fact that in the Q60A it appears that it is in the Q65B already It appears that it is not possible in Spanish but by changing it to English on both servers it is possible and very accurate the vast majority of the time opening web pages on both televisions is relatively fast but of course this also depends on the download speed Internet that they have in their homes and of course on both televisions you can play multimedia content through different web pages if required sim Keep in mind that pop-up ads may appear on many pages before continuing here you can confirm that it is the models mentioned and also their latest software updates available to date and I also invite you to give this video if you like it please click on the like button and also subscribe to my channel if you haven't yet, that if you can acquire a channel membership so that you can access extra benefits and also that way you would support and activate the notification bell so that you can know when Instantly, every time I upload a new video , already talking about its graphic quality, it seems to me that the uniformity of gray colors on both televisions is very decent, their edges can look a bit shaded and the dirty screen effect can be noticed in a very, very slight way with these gray backgrounds but when looking at normal content both the dirty screen effect and the shadowed edges on both servers can practically happen. Unnoticed in most cases, speaking in terms of brightness and color technical specifications, the improvements received by the Q65B are obvious to the eye, a little more color volume or color saturation and a little more brightness both in range standard dynamic range as in high dynamic range in standard dynamic range the Q65B can reach 482 nits while the Q60A 436 nits in high dynamic range the Q65B reaches 493 nits the Q60A 461 nits and with game mode the Q65B 497 nits and the Q60A 468 nits in terms of high dynamic range technologies both televisions support hdr10 hlg or hybrid log gamma and also hdr10+ the Q65B also supports something that Samsung calls adaptive hdr10+ which simply adapts the high dynamic range depending on the light conditions neither of them support and neither dolby vision nor dolby vision for gaming and remember that the backlight technology of both Edge LED TVs, neither of them supports Full array or dimming local and its color technologies are QLED or Quantum Dots and both support Dual Led technology that simply what it does is provide warm light and cold light to improve color accuracy. We are now going to talk about the uniformity of its black colors like you you can notice it is worse in the Q65B you notice more clouding and glare or light bleeding effect in the 2022 model and it is better as you can notice in the Q60A even though it is a model from last year 2021 remember none of them supports Full Array or dimming local its backlight technologies are LED Edge another aspect that I want to mention is regarding the contrast ratio especially of the Q60A look at rtings.com they mention that the contrast of the Q60A according to their measurements is 4,653:1 but in agreement to my measurements it can reach 7,203:1 and for the Q65B according to my measurements it is 5,162:1 and in practice you can notice that the performance in this type of scenes is better in the Q60A in In this case I use the game mode but also now I show you the results using the standard image mode. Keep in mind that the results of the clouding effect vary in each of these

televisions depending on each scene, for example if there are more things to illuminate in that scene. You will notice more clouding effect being more perceptible in the Q65B as you are then you are being able to notice the results that are better in favor of the Q60A although I do not discredit the work of the Q65B and in other types of scenes also with dark parts such as these I noticed that in some parts of those scenes it looks darker or with more accentuated blacks in the Q65B course and in other parts in the Q60A so as I mentioned before these results could vary depending on each scene but usually in general I repeat the work in this section it is better in the Q60A with better black colors less clouding effect less light bleeding effect for these results as soon as it has scaled ado image I am using the filmmaker mode on both televisions what I can tell you is that with low resolution content the work in both is practically the same you can notice pixelated parts but they can pass as something very tolerable in the vast majority of cases we are talking about of content that has 720p or lower resolutions from 1080p or full hd the image scaling work on both televisions is very good it is also practically the same the content in fact seems to have a little more resolution but still it will not reach 4k from 1440 p yes the image scaling work on both televisions closely resembles the results to a native 4k and of course both televisions can reproduce content in native 4k both in standard dynamic range and in high dynamic range without problems simply remember that in order to play high resolution content through applications such as Netflix YouTube Amazon prime Disney plus e Among others, yes or yes, they must have a very good internet download speed in their homes or otherwise these applications will automatically reduce the resolution of that content in order to improve their fluidity in terms of the gaming section. It is worth mentioning that when they set the game mode to automatic they can use other image modes with a very good Input Lag time I would think the lowest possible as you can see in case you like the graphic quality and color representation of the rest of the image modes more I do not have a device that allows me to measure input lag times but according to rtinga.com for the Q60A in 4k at 60 hertz in sdr it is 10.2 milliseconds and in 4k at 60 hertz with high dynamic range 10 milliseconds I would think I that the Q65B could have very similar input lag times it is also very important to mention that none of these televisions have hdmi ports and 2.1 do not support the 120 hertz refresh rate and n 4k and neither do they support variable refresh rates nor FreeSync nor GSync It seems to me that the performance in terms of input lag times is more than acceptable or more than good even for those demanding gamers now well when we activate the game mode as such we can access to this game bar by pressing the play button for a few seconds and pause on both remote controls the Q65B game bar has a more renewed design and two extra functions the first is that it has more image modes focused on this game mode according to each genre of each video game you want to use but I'm just going to leave it in this case it's normal to make the competition more even the other extra function it has is that from this game bar you can access the fact that we can choose the sound output in case that, for example, they have a connected sound bar, relevant information is displayed, such as whether the video game has a high dynamic range or if it has frequencies of a Variable update Although you already know that this television does not support this type of technology, you can also access the rest of the game mode settings , which include the hdr game, also known as hgig or hdr game in interest group, and you can also activate the Motion Plus of the game in case you suddenly notice that by activating it you can perceive better definition and better fluidity then look both with this game mode activated as well as with the rest of the image modes you notice better color representation in the Q65B at least colors with a little more intensity volume or saturation and also what I noticed is that the red colors look better represented in the Q65B course they look redder although it seems redundant to say it what happens is that in the Q60A in some scenes the red colors sometimes tend to appear a little with a fuchsia tone is not something exaggerated or annoying or terrible but if you are very careful you can notice that difference to fa For the Q65B then for the 2022 model which is the Q65B it seems to me that in all image modes it has better color representation the other is that the dark parts look more accentuated or more repainted in the Q65B and a little lighter in the Q60A in general in graphic quality it seems to me that both perform very well in this gaming section remember that although neither of them supports hdmi 2.1 ports they will still work with the Play Station 5 with the Xbox Series X

or with a graphics card of pc that is very powerful simply that with some limitations you already know that none of them supports 120 hertz in 4k they do not support 120 hertz in any type of resolution they do not support variable refresh rates neither FreeSync nor GSync even so it seems to me that the fluidity of both televisions in the gaming section can be more than good for many people in terms of response time according to rtings.com for the Q60A 100 percent of the time or is it 17.3 milliseconds in the case of the Q65Bastill I don't know but it could probably be a little better maybe 16 milliseconds whatever it is in both the gaming performance seems to me to be very good although it does seem very important to mention that although The handling of movement and fluidity on both televisions in the gaming section was very good, almost the same, it is also very good on both televisions when viewing content through streaming applications, in this case I use YouTube as an example, each one has the parameter known as settings of image clarity which if they want they can place personally and modify it manually until they notice improvements or the results they want to perceive can also be placed with the free movement of the LED but in both cases it generates a lot of flicker or flickering effect being a This effect is a little more noticeable in the Q60A, in addition to the fact that the image is darkened in general, so I do not recommend activating the free movement of the LED in any of the And these televisions in no image mode, what they can do is set the image clarity settings to automatic, which most of the time shows the best results on both televisions, it is very good when viewing content behind streaming applications, but placing great care is a little better in the Q65B it is not a brutal difference but it exists in terms of their viewing angles for obvious reasons because they have a VA panel in both televisions they are not good their colors lose volume and look whitish when their screens are viewed from very wide angles like You can see that they are not recommended televisions so that people should sit around those screens, they are recommended televisions to always see their screens from the front, which would be normal in terms of handling reflections, it seems to me that it is a little better in the Q65B, probably due to since it has a slightly higher amount of brightness it is not a very big difference but at least from my point of view exists both televisions are recommended mainly for rooms with little or no lighting the performance in both is decent in bright rooms but for those where many reflections enter from the windows neither of them is the best option speaking of heating on screen after almost two hours of using them non-stop also of course with video games on both televisions it shows a normal temperature range except in the lower part of their screens where it increases a little more this happens on Samsung televisions with ultra-thin designs of this year and also last year 2021 in any case in none of them you feel an exaggerated heat when approaching their screens which seems to me to be fine and in terms of inputs both televisions support the same three hdmi 2.0 ports two usb 2.0 ports one port for internet cable one port for optical digital input one input for air antenna and for At least here in Colombia, both televisions support composite inputs to , for example, connect a very old video game console or a DVD that is from years past in terms of sound, the power of both is 20 watts, but in practice it seemed better to me in terms of sound. at low power fidelity and less distortion in the case of the Q65B at the end of

this video in a few seconds you will be able to judge for yourself the performance of the sound system of both televisions and in terms of sound technologies both provide audio return channel improved and also dolby audio technologies but only by connecting a device compatible with these technologies to the hdmi port with support for improved audio return channel so to finish advantages of the Q65B it has more brightness more intense colors a slightly more powerful sound system and a operating system more renewed than since it is really a matter of taste and in the case of the Q60A let's say that the main advantage is which has a better performance in dark scenes for everything else it falls short but it is at least very decent in general performance if you ask me which one I would choose after thinking about it a lot I would probably go for the Q65B I don't know what you think about it with which would you stay and why please let me know in the comment box if you liked this video I invite you to please click the like button and also subscribe to my channel if you still haven't done so yes you can acquire a membership of the channel so that they can access extra benefits and also that way they would support me and activate the notification bell so that they can know instantly every time I upload a new video not being more I say goodbye see you in the next one and I invite you to judge the performance of the sound system of both televisions
