Star Wars: Outer Rim | Unfinished Business | Solo Playthrough | With Colin
hello everyone and welcome to the one-stop co-op shop this is colin and today we are going to do a playthrough of star wars outer rim using the unfinished business expansion this expansion is awesome it provides a unique ai card for every one of the characters and it tells you how to set up the ai deck so each time you play against the different ais they'll be just a little bit different which i really like as always don't forget to turn on those klingon subtitles just in case i make any errors and i miss them in editing you will see them there and since we already have two other playthroughs of this game on the channel i'm just going to talk about the changes for setup when you're playing with this expansion so you can see this won't be short but it will be a blast thank you so much for joining me let's jump right in one of the first changes with the expansion is there are now core worlds that you will place at the edge of the board you'll use those instead of just the regular end pieces for the entire universe you're going to see that now the two different factions of patrols actually come out in the same spot and we have those on either side we now can have encounters there and we can potentially cross the galaxy to the other side of the map if we're over here which is really nice it makes it feel like it's a circle instead of it just being if i'm over here there's no way i can get over to the other side of the of the universe you'll also see there are these orange contacts these are new level four contacts a lot of them are actually characters that you can play in the game and you'll see how they work they're just actually very similar to the other contacts they're just more for you to reveal maybe get a bounty maybe get a crew maybe have an encounter who knows so we have all of these out there's one per planet you don't put them out on the core worlds so that means it's a total of 11 out on the board when playing solo there will be four jobs and one encounter card you need to remove from the game because they use other players and you won't be able to do that during the game so make sure to look in the rule book and remove those the ai character we're going to play against is the black chrysanthemum so we grab the black chrysanthemum card here you can see it has his name up here and since he is a bounty hunter we're going to use cards one through five as well so the ai deck is only going to be six cards large we'll shuffle these up and just like the regular game we're going to reveal one a turn for the ai player here we have the player board for our ai player we have the black chrysanthe card we also have their randomly drawn 90 card number 90. so there are a bunch of those you randomly draw and that's their starting bounty it also tells us which planet they're going to start on so they're starting on taco donna and they're trying to find dr evazon black chrysanthemum starts with positive hot reputation everything else is neutral the ai player will start with 6 000 credits and we'll start with the g1a starfighter the character i chose today is maz maz has two attack she has four total health she has an ability that you can have one additional crew card in one of your crew slots so we can actually have two crew right at the get-go which is cool she does have a personal goal after you encounter the takadana space if you have at least through three crew gained one fame and then flipped this card moz starts with the family reunion job it also shows us that we start at the spirit core for the beginning of the game we can try and get to mon calamari and do an encounter potentially gaining 3 000 credits and a fame and then we remove this card from the game the expansion also provides what's called ambition cards and these ambitions you have to complete in order to win the game now when you're playing solo what they recommend is if you have an ambition the ai player has to gain two more fame than you do in order to win the game because how it works for us we will have to get a total of eight fame and then complete this final goal for the ai they're just going to try and get 10 fame before we do that i chose the galactic explorer ambition so we're going to start with 6 000 credits and a hired help crew we'll see that in a second and then we have a little flavor text here explaining why we are trying to be a galactic explorer you've always been intrigued by the wonders that the universe holds and have made it your life's ambition to see as much of the galaxy as you can after you discard an encounter card if you do not have another card from that card's encounter deck on the sheet place that card on this sheet you can see here then one of our goals is we have to have eight encounter cards on this sheet that means we have to have one from every different planet plus then one from the nav points once we do that and then have eight total fame we have to get to any core world's space then our final goal is do an encounter test knowledge and then test influence if you pass both tests you win the game for each test you fail choose and discard one encounter card from the sheet and then you have to go back to that spot get an encounter card and come back and try it again so lots of different ones that they have you can be one that's going for the empire one that's going for the rebels you can have one that you're trying to complete cargo missions i mean there's lots of different ones this is just the one that i ended up choosing for our starting ship we have the g9 rigger and then we have our hired help this states before you perform a skill test you may gain a skill of your choice for that test if you pass the test discard this crew if you've seen the other two playthroughs on this channel of this game the turn order is very similar there is a couple differences so we'll walk through them our planning step we can choose one of the three things either move gain 2000 credits or recover all of our damage then during that action step we can deliver cargo and bounties and then our market action that we can take if we're on a planet this is where it's different we may discard up to two cars from the top of a single market deck instead of just one because all the market decks essentially doubled in size and so that allows you to dig for specific cards then you may buy the top card of a market deck then resolve the patrol movement and reveal contact tokens on the next card if any then you can we can't do any trading we don't have to worry about that and then we have the same encounter abilities fighter patrol that's required if we have a negative reputation with the patrol that's in our space we can resolve an encounter card or resolve a contact token and with that i think we are ready to begin we're way over here in the spinner decor remember to complete our personal goal we have to get to takadana way over there which actually isn't that far if we do the jump we can teleport ourselves or cross the galaxy from here to here so it actually isn't as far as you'd think but we'd have to get over there when we have three crew so we need to pick up some crew i think that's our first goal for our first turn we're going to move our ship our ship has a total movement of six so we can move one two three and i think i'm gonna go to ord mantel way up there we have mon calamari that's where we can do our job so i'm starting to head that way because we ended our planning step on a planet we can now do our market action we may discard up to two cards from the top of a single market well i know that he's going for bounties i don't want him to take out lando so i'm going to replace that with chopper yeah i think that's okay i'll leave chopper out moz likes this casino heist we see here we need influence and tech and strength well we have influence and tech as skills so it costs us zero we're going to purchase this card that means then we have to flip this card and we're going to have to move the huts three spaces towards us lucky for us the huts are on the other side of the galaxy so they're just going to move over here during our encounter step we can either draw an encounter card from ordmantel or flip over one of those contact tokens i love the orange ones they could be cool and so i think i'm gonna do that because we love our crew we found boba fett that is hilarious the bounty hunter shoots a whip cord out of his gauntlet and it wraps around his foe with a tug of the cord the query falls to the ground wriggling in a futile attempt to escape you hope this hunter is not looking for you if you have positive or neutral hut reputation you may spend 6 000 credits to gain the crew below and discard boba fett's token if you have a negative hut reputation fight a ground combat against boba fett if you win discard his token we don't have anything with the huts 6 000 is all of our money but getting him as a crew let's see what would he give us he would give us stealth and tactics we don't have either one of those and he has an action secretly look at one contact on your planet yeah let's do that this means we'll spend all 6 000 credits that we have and we now have our second crew member boba fett we've completed our first turn we'll now move to black chrysanthemum let's see what he does his planning step if defeated no move towards a bounty target we know what the target is now first they will always try and target a character if possible they don't have one for a character so we'll skip that a crew they'll skip that so they have a contact it's a white contact now that white contact is face down there's none of them face up so they don't know where it is so he's just going to go towards the closest planet that has a white contact so he can potentially reveal it there's a white contact right here so he's simply going to move one two and he has positive reputation with the huts so that patrol won't affect him at all during his action step he's going to buy one of the bounties even if he's at a nav point but he's at a planet if unable and on a planet discard the top card of the uh cargo market deck and gain 4 000 credits he most certainly is going to grab the chopper card it costs zero then we're gonna flip this over oh so the first thing is the rebels are going to move three spaces towards him and then this is a new symbol from the expansion it's called a reveal contacts icon this means the current player or the ai for this must choose one face down contact on their planet and turn it face up if able you'll also see there are small numbers there one through four so if you're playing a one to four player game you flip them if that had said maybe two through four we wouldn't be flipping it but because we're playing a one player game we will the rebel patrol will move one two three right here there are a total of three contacts here two of them are the colors that he's looking for so i'm going to say that he would reveal this one let's see no that's jyn erso uh yeah i wonder if he's gonna try and kill her later but right now that's not one of the contacts that he's looking for but she'll stay revealed so if he sees a bounty for her and actually the one that's on the top of the deck right here is jyn erso so he might buy that to be able to try and take her out we'll then move to the ai's encounter step if they have a negative reputation matching a patrol in their space they'd encounter it but they don't they have to encounter a bounty target that is in their space they have that white token there so they already know that the orange one is not not chopper so now they're going to see if the white one is dr evazon if it is they're going to take them out if it's not that's going to simply end the encounter step we'll flip this token don't be dr amazon no it's not it is labot so we'll leave this face up for later we've now completed the ai's turn we take that card and simply place it at the bottom of the deck there's one card in here the card that's specific for the character that will cause you to shuffle this deck we're now back to maz's turn now we had a plan of going to continenca here but unfortunately this rebel patrol blocks our way now because if we move here we have to immediately stop and then we're stuck on a nav point and i don't have a strong ship for attacking this one would roll three dice we'd only roll two so i don't think we're going to do that instead we have a total of six movement i'm gonna move one two three and come over here to mon calamari i have absolutely no money so i'm not going to be able to buy anything but i am definitely going to cycle jin airso to the bottom of this deck since jin airso is face up uh we have maz that would be our card definitely don't want that so we're going to cycle that one to the bottom of the deck as well remember we can do two and instead we have four lom let's also use bubba fett's action here to secretly look at one contact on your planet i will be absolutely amazed if i remember this but let's still look we have dr aphra that's who i played last time i played this okay that's who's there now we'll move to our encounter step and i'm going to encounter my job amon calamari has lost contact with her family on mon cala she can't return home personally and offers you a modest sum to check up on them so we have to go to mon calamari we now have to test our influence or knowledge if you pass complete this job we have both skills of influence and knowledge i have to choose one or the other if i could choose both i could be really good at this test but because i at least have influence and or knowledge on here either one that i choose the regular successes and critical hits are considered successes the focus i symbols are not successes let's roll our two dice we'll roll them up and we have two successes so we're good we just gained a total of 3 000 credits and one fame one down seven to go we still don't have any encounter cards done yet and we have to remove this from the game taking the lead from the ai i like it we're back to the ai's turn let's flip our card okay it's just a regular one definitely not defeated so just moving towards a bounty target when the ai only has contact tokens for bounties they're always going to go to the lowest class first if possible naboo has both though orange and white so with a total of five movement one two three oh let's see can they get there one two three there we go they can definitely get to naboo no problem if all the bounties are full they're going to buy an upgrade black chrysanthemum has a total of 6 000 credits so they can buy this one for five we're going to ignore the text the only thing that's important it's going to add plus one to his ground combat so now he'll roll four dice gosh he's to be brutal with this blaster but he will only have 1 000 credits remaining oh it looks like the rebel will move three spaces and there's the 1000 credits left oh i do want to mention i didn't even say anything i'm using xayah credits because they're way cooler than cardboard ones just you can see this is where we place gear for our characters you can have a total of two gear even if moz doesn't know it the rebels are apparently trying to chase her down one two three moving here is once again going to block her path to cantonica ah man maybe i'll just have to do a nav point in counternext turn for the encounter step there's no patrols so they're going to encounter a bounty at its space and then they have a special here if not all crew slots are full they have one open crew slot gain the crew that matches a face-up contact of the lowest class on this planet for free cool on naboo the black chrysanthemum finds who is that panda baba and you know what he's just i'm merely going to recruit him for moz's turn we could go into this nav point we would have to stop here with this patrol because we are neutral with the rebels but i don't think i'm ready for that yet instead i'm simply going to gain 2 000 credits because i'm not going to move that means i have a total of 5 000 credits we have some bhakta supplies here that we could potentially purchase and then bring all the way over to takadana but that's really far away so what i think i'm going to do is bury this and let's then flip the next card and we have a hot informant oh we could pick up a hut and form it now in order to buy this we have to roll a die on a hit we can buy this otherwise resolve card 34. and by 34 i mean 94. that number is so small our destination if we pick this up is where the syndicate patrol is we could gain 5 000 credits and a fame and add one or increase our syndicate reputation i kind of like that why don't we try it so let's try and buy this we will have to roll a die let's see if we get a hit you've got this moz look at that that's a hit this means we can pick this up the syndicate space isn't too far away from us and we will flip this oh we have to move the syndicate four spaces towards us take that and we have to flip over one contact we'll move this syndicate patrol one two three four right here too bad it's not on the other side of that rebel why don't we reveal this level three contact we have saw guerrera oh man i wish i could have him on my team let's not forget we have our action with boba fett we can reveal this one as well and this one is honda onaka okay good to know for our encounter let's encounter our space we're grabbing a card from mon calamari we could potentially get a job or have some additional movement so we have mon calamari regent utra has an urgent request for you do you think you could take this message to senator organa you may gain the job below we need influence we've got influence destination is the spine word core test influence if you pass complete this job if you fail discard this job gain one fame and one rebel reputation then discard this card yeah let's do that we have an open opening for a job or a bounty we'll take this that does mean that encounter card has not been placed on our ambition card yet not until we discard it now we're back to the ai let's see what we have oh this is black chrysanthon's specific card if defeated ignore that move toward a bounty target that's what it's going to do i'm actually thinking he won't do that and that's because the white tokens that he's looking for right now are more than five away one two three four five or one two three four five he can't get over to them but he is at a spot with one of these orange tokens so i think instead he'll simply sit where he's at and gain two thousand credits just like what we did with not moving so that'll put him at 3 000 credits he'll then recover to damage but he doesn't have any and then he's going to buy another one of the gear cards if unable he would buy a bounty but he already has two bounties they have 2 000 credits so they will buy this targeting computer i'm not entirely sure if they're going to use it i'm going to say that they will they can reroll blank dice that seems pretty simple and we have no activation of any of the patrols bummer i was kind of hoping that that would happen we have no patrols we can move to the encounter we're going to encounter a bounty target we'll flip this orange token over and we have chopper this means the ai player will immediately eliminate chopper he will gain a total of 9 000 credits and a fame oh my gosh that puts him up to 10 000 total credits however whatever the value of the attack is here we are going to have the ai player take that as damage so he's almost been defeated he only has one health remaining this is what they call an unopposed bounty because right now no player is opposing him trying to take out that bounty so he immediately takes it out if he had tried to take out a crew like let's say a bubba fat that i have or me i can oppose that and then they have to roll dice but otherwise it's unopposed it immediately happens and then they just take damage equal to whatever the value of the attack value of that bounty that they took out but now that means he has one fame 10 000 credits oh boy that was fun he has a special as well that says discard the top card of the job deck and the luxury deck and then we're going to shuffle this card into his deck so that means we're going to shuffle up these cards that means both of these cards will be discarded to the bottom of their respective decks we now have oh a job ten thousand dollars for that job and another job that rebel patrol is going to be the bane of my existence i think for our planning step we're simply going to move to that nav point we immediately have to stop that's all we can do we can't do a market action because we're in the middle of outer space for our encounter though instead of encountering the patrol because we don't have to since we have a neutral uh reputation with them we're going to have a nav point card let's draw our nav point card and we have no patrol or patrol of course we have a patrol to anyone that can hear us we've suffered engine failure and need assistance test tech if you pass gain one reputation with a patrol in your space if you already have positive reputation we don't oh that would be nice get on the good side of the rebels so let's do that testing tech the good thing is we do have tech here for our on one of our skills so either a success or a critical success will work the rebels love moz don't they yes they do we'll gain one reputation we are now on our way to be able to complete one of our jobs and we now have our first encounter card that we would discard we're going to set next to the galactic explorer we are 1 8th done we're back to the ai player let's flip over their next card they're going to move towards one of their bounties the only bounty he has right now are for white contact tokens so he'd move one two three four five which would put him out on a nav point if they're within two spaces of a planet that they pass through to get to a nav point they'll move back up to two spaces ending on a planet so they can do their market action so and on ryloth he's now going to try and buy a ship if he's unable to he's going to discard a cargo or one of the cargo cards from the marketplace and gain 4 000 credits he has 10 000 credits this one costs 15 so he's not going to grab that one let's see about this one that's 25. he definitely can't buy that one so he'll discard that one because remember we can discard up to two and that one's 20 000 so you can't buy oh there it is i always love when there's a chance to buy the millennium falcon however that costs 20 000 credits i'm not sure moz is going to get that she only has what five instead he's simply going to discard this cargo card flip this over and gain oh you know 4 000 more credits that puts him to a total of 14 000. he does not have negative reputation with the patrol in his space he does not have a patrol in this space he can not encounter a bounty because he doesn't have one so he's just going to gain 4 000 more credits and then lose one reputation with this planet's faction if any well that's pretty crazy because ryloth is rebel so he will lose one rebel reputation but he now has 18 000 credits it appears the hutts like him the rebels do not we're now back to our turn moz is simply going to move one two getting into the same space as the syndicate patrol that would make her stop because right now we do not have positive reputation with him that's what we're trying to do we can then drop off this cargo gain 5 000 credits so that puts us at a total of 10 000 one fame and one syndicate reputation that puts us up to two total fame and now the two patrols that are on our side of the board love us the only encounter we can do is another nav point encounter and we do have a patrol in our space the last thing you need is unwanted attention you may test stealth we have stealth with bubba fett if you pass you may take an additional turn if you fail lose one reputation with the patrol in your space uh yeah i think that's worth it before i do that test i do need to remember i need to push up the correct reputation there we go the syndicate has been pushed up the hut is back to neutral we need a success here or a crit we've got a success we get another turn you know what that means we're going to move to kontanika right away as much as i want the millennium falcon it cost 20 000 credits i only have 10 000. i'm kind of
looking for a new ship so i'm going to discard that to the bottom we'll see what we have this is a 5 000. it's a six to five isn't that pretty much exactly what we have no we it'd be a little more health we can have two crew though which plus one is actually three do i want to just go with that you know why the heck not we'll pay the 5 000 credits it's going to make our ship slightly better and we're going to buy the gx1 short hauler we'll then flip over the next ship and this one also only costs 5 000 credits uh but i think i like that one better you know what i love this ship gain a crew while you have two crew we already have two crew normally if you gain a third crew you'd have to discard one but we can actually hold three because we have moss we gain one fame and flip this sheep and we get to keep all three crew that's cool that was our action step now we'll do our encounter let's do our encounter here resolving card 42 if we succeed we gain 15 000 credits then remove this from the game the casino has more credits than they know what to do with no one will notice if you skim a little off the top right one of the fun things the expansion provided is two cards for each job that has one of these cards so if you have played this before and you knew card 42 was one thing this might be different i don't know if this is the expansion one or not but this is our job we're trying to complete the first part of the plan involves distracting the security guard with small talk we need to test our influence we only need a success or a crit that'll work you try to slice into their system and add some credits to your account test tech once again because we have a tech all we need is a success or a crit if we fail we jump right to number four and we have to fight security then we have to do number three which is testing strength we do not have strength we have stealth tactics influence knowledge and tech no strength so it's going to be the question of am i going to discard my hired hand for that one but let's see how we do on the other two tests first our first test is for influence and you know moz should be able to succeed at that yeah no problem there's our success next is tech that also is a moz and we have a success no problem now we need to test strength and i do think as much as i don't want to because i want to have a total of three crew but i think it's 15 000 credits you guys i'm going to discard or use the hired help if we succeed at the test then we discard our hired help card so we're just looking for a success there it is we just passed this test and we completed this job this means we just gained 15 000 credits plus the 5 000 we had from before that's 20 000 credits we could have bought the millennium falcon we're now back to our ai player we have uh if defeated recover all damage we'll ignore that move towards the bounty target tatooine has a level one contact one two he's going to move here for his action step he'll buy a bounty he'll snag four l-o-m and then we will flip this one up okay oh yeah we do have a movement we have movement both of an imperial and the syndicate and we're gonna reveal one contact token he most certainly will reveal this contact is that the one he's going for no the black sun agent the imperial control one two three moving here and the syndicate patrol one two three going to mon calamari finally for the encounter step we have no patrols we have no bounty anymore because we already revealed that white contact token so he's going to spend 8 000 credits which he definitely has he'll still have five six seven eight nine ten thousand left to gain a fame and then he's going to gain a reputation with that planet's faction if any this will tie up the race two to two he would move up on the hutt reputation but he's already at a positive so that won't happen it's now back to our turn instead of moving for us our turn we're simply going to gain 2 000 more credits that puts us at 22 000 credits then we're going to use a bubba fett's ability to reveal this contact token we have lando calrissian oh okay let's buy something we have 10 000 credits why don't we do this one because this encounter all we have to do is go to a specific planet that matches one of our positive reputation that is either the rebels or the syndicate spend just our encounter phase there to complete this gain of fame and if we can keep all this money we could gain a second fame so yeah 10 000 credits this job is ours and then we're going to flip this one face up we have no movement for our encounter then let's flip over lando calrissian and let's encounter them these marks have a lot of credits and not a lot of brands lando says indicating the nearby table of the sabacc players if we work together we can take them for all they've got you may spend ten thousand credits to gain this crew below and discard lando calrissian's token then if you do roll a die and resolve the effect below oh man ah ten thousand i do have that five six seven eight nine ten that means i only have two thousand credits left but i really want him that sounds awesome we just gained lando calrissian as a crew now we have to roll a die and we'll see what we get it's a single die roll and we get the focus symbol that means we gained 4 000 back so we have four thousand we have six thousand credits the big thing is we only need one more crew member and we can start getting some more fame we have for our ai player move towards the bounty target he is going to continue to hunt moving to nelhada his bounty slots are full so he's going to buy another gear card he has 10 000 credits now he can't grab a mod so he's going to replenish that with this one he definitely can buy this this is going to make him insane in ground combat because he already has a plus one for his ground combat so now it's going to be plus two that means he'll attack with five dice uh this is only three thousand credits he definitely has that so we'll spend the 3000 credits he now has both gear slots filled and let's see if we're moving any patrols maybe one that's going to go towards him he's going to reveal another contact token and we have the huts moving we'll flip this one over and we have dr evazon he's looking for that one he's gonna take him out this turn the huts will move forward towards him but remember he is friendly with the huts so he doesn't really care there's no patrol in his space so he is going to encounter the bounty in his space now this is where it gets interesting he is going to do the elimination reward here he's going to gain 5 000 credits and take out dr evazon he also will gain a fame however he's going to take two damage that's going to defeat him we'll put one more damage on him he's going to lay down and then at the beginning of his next turn the only thing he'll do is stand back up and then do the rest of his actions that means though he now has three fame to r2 remember we're only looking for eight he has to get to ten we'll knock him down on his back to show that and then he would activate his special if not all crew slots are full they are full so i don't think anything happens here we're back to maz's turn another 2 000 credits i'm not moving during the action step we'll use bubba fett and we'll reveal this one we have bib for tuna oh do i really want bib fortuna i'm not sure i want bib fortuna i don't really want to buy anything because i want 10 000 credits so i think i'm just going to refresh this marketplace i could do it again but this is one of the cool new ones where you can actually do an action and then it flips it around to the other side so i'm going to leave that up here in case we want it oh cannot buy on cantonica i'm on cantonica darn that actually would be pretty easy to to get later i need to gain one more fame i'm really not into bib fortuna so let's reveal this one and encounter this one we have um hera sindullia there's enough darkness in the galaxy right now let me know if you want to spread a little light like that if you have a negative imperial reputation or positive rebel reputation we have positive rebel reputation you may spend 2 000 credits to gain the crew below piloting i don't have piloting 2 000 credits that is not even a question she has an action if you're not at the maelstrom test tech if you pass move one space if you fail the ship suffers one damage well that's kind of interesting but that's our third crew member our ship goal was to gain a crew while you have two crew to gain one fame and flip the sheet we now have a diplomatic mission during your encounter step you are not forced to encounter patrols that have negative reputation with you oh that's cool because they think we're on a diplomatic mission that is awesome and another fame that puts us up to three we're now tied with the ai we'll now move back to the ai and the beginning will be easy if defeated recover all damage so that means chrysanthemum will get all of his health back but he will not move and he will not gain the 2000 credits then he'd buy a mod if unable because he cannot do that he will discard a market card and gain 4 000 credits so giving them 4 000 more puts them at 18 000. and that little jerk discards this one that i was really eyeing because cantonica is right where we are we have some illegal cargo he has no patrol in his space he has no patrol so he can't encounter a patrol that's in this space or a player so we're not in the same space we've been on the other sides of the galaxy encounter a bounty target there isn't one there's no green token there so then he's going to spend 8 000 credits which he can definitely do five plus two and one more to gain another fame he's certainly keeping it real we're now up to four fame for him he's still in the lead but we only need eight this might seem a little bit crazy but for our turn we're not actually going to move we're going to gain another 2 000 credits that's because i want to do an encounter in this space if i do that get that encounter card and discard it that's our second one that we have completed then we can start moving towards the um spin word core i'm thinking of potentially grabbing some cargo but this one costs 3000 and it's illegal let's see what this one this one's zero to buy roll a die uh oh boy that's also an imperial de facto do we want to do that yeah we want to do that let's buy it if we get a success we can gain it otherwise we have to resolve card 95. all we need here is a hit oh that's a focus so close to a hit but not a hit we have lose one imperial reputation that means we have negative uh imperial reputation that's fine we like the rebels we hate the imperials and apparently the try and get as close as he can to us because he wants to take out the crew first if possible but he'll end on a planet if he can with a green uh token that way he could potentially also find four ldm i'm not entirely sure about this but i feel like this is what he'd do one two three a four and then he could move here to five but he'll stay on this planet there's no green contacts and of course the crew is way over there with moz but i think this way he'll end on a planet he then would recover some damage can't do that he would buy another gear can't do that because he already has gear and he already has two bounties so i don't think he gets to buy one of those we'll move right to the encounter step we have no negative reputation he cannot encounter a bounty target he's going to roll dice equal to his attack value that's a total of five dice and then he'll gain 2 000 credits for each hit roll and take a damage for that as well finally then he'll discard the top card of the jobs and the special items market decks and then shuffle this ai card back into the ai deck five dice for him he will gain only 2 000 credits and one damage moz is currently feeling pretty terrible about turning in those folks that were on her ship but i guess we're going to do it one two three four we're going to move to the spine word core no market action for this turn i don't even want to buy anything all we're going to do is this encounter we're going to test influence now we have influence with moz and we have influence with lando calrissian that means that even the focus symbol will be considered a trying to catch us he's then going to buy a ship after that he has no patrols in his space he will encounter that green token in his space he'll pay the 5 000 credits to get the hawk 290 fighter it's not really a great ship but it's better than what he has he will never buy a lower level ship a lower costing oh twenty thousand he probably would have gone for that one seven movement this one at reputation he won't have a bounty he can target there so he's going to spend 8 000 of those credits to simply gain a fame he's going to move one two three four five back to now huda he'll then discard this cargo uh card replenishing it with this one he then gained four thousand then spent eight thousand so he only has three thousand left but now he's at fame five on moz's turn she wants to get to takodana one two three four five we're here no problem we'll then use boba fett's action to check this one out we have bosk here hmm our market step we will discard this job we now have an opening for card we also have while you have one or two of the luxury cards you have one additional fame while you have three or more you have two additional fame and here's the thing we have this job this job is a luxury item so we technically have plus one fame we gained our fifth fame there by being able to uh get our personal goal completed and with that job we're technically at six we only need two more and three more encounter cards let's go back to the black chrysanthemum we know he's going to move towards the bounty he'd like to get to naboo because there's a green bounty there since and we're also that way but he can't get there what he can do is go one two three four and then five six so i think instead he'd just move one two three four and then he has to stop here in ryloth because he has a patrol there that's the empire's patrol and he's that neutral reputation so he'll end his movement there he then would buy a gear card but he already has one so he'll skip that then he's going to discard the top card of the cargo market deck gaining 4 000 credits that will put him to 7 000. then
he would try and encounter a patrol that he has negative reputation with he doesn't have one but he can encounter a patrol in his space that has a combat less than or equal to his it will be three versus three this is against an imperial ship so he is going to roll he gets two three total successes on three dice then the patrol gets uh just two successes his ship will take two damage it has two health remaining but this patrol is toast he gained five thousand credits and now the level two imperial ship will jump out right here and if someone takes this one out they gain one fame he will though lose one reputation with the empire so he doesn't like the empire or the rebels it's just the huts it's hard for me to do this but i think i'm going to i am going to move for my turn one two three moving to naboo that means very likely the black chrysanthemum is going to get into our space and try and take out our crew member but i really need an encounter card from this area to get my sixth one i have a total of 16 000 credits i'm gonna spend ten thousand to gain this crew i can do that because i can have one extra crew so i actually have four this is an undercover agent if a player in your space has more fame than you discard this card to gain one fame and make that player lose one reputation of your choice that's going to give us stealth we have so much stealth it's ridiculous okay we have to reveal a token in our space and that's actually it at naboo we have are you serious that's for ldm that's who he's looking for both of his bounties are at naboo that's terrible for our encounter step let's do a naboo encounter imperial forces are searching the planet for outlaws yeah there's two there and they're willing to pay for information you may test knowledge let's see we have one two so we are super skillful if you pass gain one imperial reputation and four thousand credits if you lose lose one imperial reputation if you already have a negative imperial reputation just lose four thousand oh we already have negative imperial reputations we're just going to lose 4 000 credits that stinks i was looking for one more luxury item but now i'm only going to have 2 000 credits looking at this closer i do think i still can do the test and if i succeed which hopefully i do considering i'm extra skillful so any symbol will be considered a success rolling to a dice we have a focus symbol that will work this means the imperials don't hate us as much we're back to neutral and we now have ten thousand credits and of course this is number six of our encounter cards during the ai turn we're pretty certain this is going to be bad move towards the bounty or crew yep it's going to move into our space if a bounty slot is full buy a gear it can't do either one because he has all of those full he will not be in a space with a negative patrol he will encounter a bounty and he's going to encounter our specific crew member and we can choose if we want to oppose that or not however he would roll five dice and we're rolling two so i do think we might just give up hera the black chrysanthon will move one two three four remember it can move through this patrol space because he has positive influence with the huts the only one he has positive influence with i do feel kind of bad that i'm not trying to help here but i don't know what else we can do this is a ship battle so she'll deal five damage and actually destroy his ship however she will be defeated we have uh the ai gaining 6 000 more credits which is brutal and to fame and of course we lose this crew member this will push up the black chrysanthemum to seven fame now we're only going to eight but he's going to 10. he needs three more this is also absolutely ridiculous if not all crew slots are full we now have a second crew slot open gain the crew that matches a face-up contact of the lowest class on this planet for free that's the one that he is trying to hunt so he convinces for ldm to be on his ship before then he kills him now i believe i forgot this laugh last time but i'm not going to worry about it i am going to have the ai lose 3 000 credits this time for being defeated from the space battle with hera that means we will discard this token i grabbed the crew card guess what the crew card does gives you plus one combat for a ground that's hilarious like he really needs that okay that's the end of his turn and now it's back to our turn what i think i'm going to do is stay right where i am gain 2 000 credits and then we're going to do something kind of fun we're going to do our action here of under cover agent now it does mean we're going to lose this luxury item but i think it's worth it if a player in your space has more fame than you and yes he has seven we only have five or technically six so we're still behind him we can gain one fame by discarding this card and make that player lose one reputation of your choice however we are losing this as a luxury item but we still have one more so we still have plus one fame right now that will sneak us up to a six fame and i don't like him having positive reputation with any of those patrols so let's have him lose one hut reputation nobody really likes him we're definitely going for luxury items here for our market let's discard the job i don't really want the job oh we can definitely have this custom paint job let's buy this for 10 000 credits after you fight a ship combat if you're not destroyed rotate this card oh what's the other side let's just see what it is so then it gets rotated you have one additional fame oh my gosh we'll have to get into ship combat gain an additional fame oh we have to make sure we don't get destroyed though our ship combat value is two but maybe we could attack one of those patrols we'll pay the 10 000 credits that will be our second luxury item again so we need one more to get the one additional fame we are going to move the huts four spaces towards us i'm pretty sure i can do this let me know if i'm wrong but i believe i can jettison this cargo that i have so i can put that mod onto my ship the huts will move directly into our space and now i have that option i can maybe just attack them for our encounter yeah let's do that he's only holding three dice to r2 uh hopefully we don't get destroyed our total hull is five so we can take some damage we need to remember we have lando lando allows us to re-roll one die i should definitely use that no i shouldn't that's four damage that's four right there okay we're rolling three for the huts they get two damage so we'll take two but we successfully uh defeated that patrol gaining us five thousand credits that will put us back up to 7 000. we're close to being able to get another one of those luxury items too we'll remove this from the board and now the huts will jump out here next to or in the same space as the imperial patrol and you know what we're going to flip this now with our custom paint job you have one additional fame if you are defeated by damage to your ship rotate this car a player in your space can fight a ship combat against you as their encounter that's kind of cool so yeah when you're playing against other people that could that could you know say hey bring it on here's the thing for us though right now we have six fame however that card gives us seven fame and moz's ability having one or two luxury cards we have two that gives us one additional fame so we actually have the eight fame we need now we just need the encounter cards only two more and then of course we have to do our final what is that our final test and i think we have to go all the way to one of the core worlds to do it we'll have the black chrysanthemum going next first thing he's going to do is repair all of his damage and heal all the damage he has on himself and stand back up that's the only thing he's going to do here then we have if all bounty slots are full they're not if not all bounty slots are full reveal cards from the oh my gosh the market deck intellibounty that matches a character crew or face up contact is revealed gain that bounty then shuffle the deck i've got to say i am loving this ai it's awesome the grenandin is not out uh boshek boshek is not out not that i see uh we'll do the next one it better not be us it is us did i really have to say that he's going to gain that and that means oh well is he going to encounter us first before we do that we need to flip this up and see okay no revealing of a token we can't but the imperials are going to move three some damage to him we have three damage i'm not gonna do any re-rolling we'll at least do three damage to him but we have been defeated when the ai completes their bounty against a character it works
