hello my friends welcome back to my channel and to another small business hall these are my favorite videos to film i just love seeing the amazing things that you guys create and getting to connect with you and today's video features five amazing small businesses all owned by women who are part of our community here and there is so much variety in this hall we have clothes we have candles we have jewelry we have a carnivorous plant yes you heard that correctly and even a few baby products i'm actually working on a whole separate small business haul for next month that's entirely dedicated to just baby stuff so be looking out for that but uh you'll get you'll get a little taste of that in today's haul links to all these small businesses are in the description if you like anything you repurposed glassware candles and we have a video from the owner ashley who is going to tell you a little bit more about her business and her passion for sustainability hi beautiful people my name is ashley and i'm the creator of re-candled kindled rekindled kindle was born about seven months ago from my love of sustainability and candles with that in mind we are founded on three principles community sustainability and comfort my goal with this company was to recycle in a uniquely creative way reduce glass waste and provide our community with beautiful scents and stories and in that our in honor of her mother with notes of fresh cut rose white sage and lavender and then the card goes even more into depth about her mom and the story behind the scene it's actually repurposed from a baby food jar which is so cool and smart oh my gosh this this smells like literally it smells like fresh cut roses when i was growing up my parents had a couple rose bushes in their backyard and this is exactly what it smelled like on like a sunday morning when my dad would be out there trimming up the plants this is that is so cool our next candle another one i chose in my sampler pack this is lavender rona and it's in honor of her grandmother's memory with notes of lavender frankincense and myrrh so both floral and earthy lavender is probably my favorite scent so i'm very excited about this one oh yep it's amazing i mean we already knew it was gonna be amazing but it's amazing our next candle this is the third one from my sampler pack kind of perfect but that's how i just happened to unbox them all but this one is the scent long night and in the story card ashley talks about the memory that inspired this candle of her childhood and her dad traveling back and forth for work and that sense of comfort and safety and peace that comes from being with your family oh this one this might be my favorite so this one has notes of warm cedar fresh cypress rosemary and lavender i love this one this one's also like super unique like i feel like i've never smelled a candle like this before i really really like it and then the two extras that ashley sent we have evening stroll and also i think the lace-up detail on the front is really cute it's just a great basic and also a great price five dollars i feel like i'm gonna get a lot of wear out of this in the rest of my pregnancy for sure and last but not least our maroon floral dress so here is the maroon dress so it's about like a right below the knee kind of a midi length and it has an elastic waist here which since i'm pregnant i would probably belt this and pull the waist up a little bit more just so that it's right over the bump but this is just such a comfy flowy cut i love the sleeves i love the print really there were lots of different prints to choose from i went with the mud cloth and i also got one of the rooted teething rattles for baby girl in the kumasi mustard color and it was 19.99 i was also and dainty these are also my ears are really sensitive so i love that they're gonna be lightweight to actually wear and then we have one of the other extras that she included these are the candice chunky hoops really really cute super excited to wear these and then these must be the new climbers the sierra climbers i can't believe these are being named after me that is so cool and then these must be the moonstone beads which i think i can put onto the hoops six of these gorgeous little white moonstone beads we're not gonna cry we're not gonna cry we are you know what we are probably gonna cry but that's okay because we're not afraid of crying emotion is good and then in the other little dust bag and gift box we have yep this is my necklace i am really really excited about this i love the simplicity of it so tomorrow i'm gonna style some of this jewelry with my outfit so let's go ahead and just cut to that how gorgeous are these hoops oh my goodness i am truly just obsessed like they're so simple and beautiful but adding the little moonstone beads is just such a unique touch and i love the personal meaning behind it and i feel like wearing the hoops and the necklace even helpful and a letter so so sweet thank you so much hannah and now we get into the plant it is packaged up really really nicely in here oh my gosh look at its little pictures oh this is so cool okay here is what it looks like it has two like fully formed pictures on it already i'm gonna go ahead and just remove the rest of the tape here so here it is all unboxed i'm very excited i'm gonna read through the care instructions learn a little bit more about my pearl exotics plant buddy here and then uh we'll find the best spot for him to grow all right i got all the background information on our little nepenthes here and i'm feeling like a good prepared plant mom he needs a name though so if you guys want to comment your name suggestions for our new plant friend and then you know what whichever name suggestion comment has the most likes that will be the plant's name so comment your suggestions and thumbs up the ones that you like but our little buddy here is native to southeast asia prefers bright indirect sunlight and higher humidity so it's best to keep it damp and they also do really well in windowsills it needs distilled water and higher moisture so i shouldn't ever let it like fully dry out and it'll catch bugs all on its own no need to to feed it i also asked hannah about repotting the plant she said it's best to keep it in this pot for now as it acclimates so i'm gonna do that and then i'm also gonna get a little saucer to put on at the bottom to help retain moisture but i have i think i have the perfect spot for this plant so this is my desk it's got lots of little nerdy sierra touches things that i like and also over here in the corner if you remember our good moss ball friend bob moss who also needs indirect sunlight and he has been doing pretty well here so i'm thinking the plant should either go here on the desk right next to my megalodon tooth or we can bring him over here and rearrange things a little bit so the plant is even closer to the window all right i think i decided i think my desk is the best spot oh my gosh this is just too perfect even right now just filming at my desk and looking over at my little carnivorous plant friend
